I took the empty barrel and went towards the well outside the yard. It snowed yesterday, so the alley was very slippery. A layer of thickice was frozen on the platform of the well. I was frightened by the sight, but I gathered my courage to walk towards it.

The alley was so slippery that I walked with difficultly. Suddenly, I slipped and fell down, water in the barrel totally poured down on the ground. I stepped on the platform carefully. Most of us look away when we pass strangers. It is the expectional person who stops to help the woman maneuvering her kids and groceries up the staircase. We rarely give up in line or on the subway or bus. Locked into our automobiles, we prefer gridlock to giving way.

正是因为有了爱，世界才变得更美好!5.12四川大地震，夺去了许多人宝贵的生命。但爱的光环一直关注着我们的受难同胞。全国上下、全国各地都纷纷捐款、捐物，掀起爱心飞越的热潮，为四川送去温暖和爱心，爱心传递祖国山川，飞向灾区。愿我们的爱心能给我们差不多大的孩子送去温暖和爱心，让他们和我们一起在大家的“爱心”下快乐成长!
