今天就是期中考试的日子，我的心“砰砰”的跳，生怕会考不好。

随着上课铃声的响起，终于等到公布成绩的那一刻了。老师说，这次同学们考得都不是很理想。我语文93·5分，数学98分，英语100分，分数虽然算是很高了，但是在班级排名第四。我心里难受极了，因为我答应妈妈考前三名的，没想到与第一名只差一、两分！

回到家后，正在写作业的我，眼泪不知不觉地夺眶而出。在妈妈的再三询问之下，我才把考试成绩说了一遍。妈妈却说：“没关系，只要你认真一点，会考得更好的，一定要加油喔！”

“谦虚使人进步，骄傲使人落后”。如果我考试时，真能做到妈妈所说的那样认真点，不去东张西望、好好检查一下，也不致于考得这么糟糕了……

看着妈妈离开的身影，我只想说：“妈妈，我爱您！下次我一定会考得更好，会给您交上一份满意的答卷的。”
