暑期难忘的一件事

It was a sunny day today,when I got up in the morning, I decided to see my grandparents. So I took the bus and got there at noon,they were happy to see me, and I was very happy, too.

今天天气不错,太阳天.当我早上醒来,我决定去看看爷爷奶奶,所以我乘巴士中午到了那里,爷爷奶奶看到我很开心,而且我也很开心。

In the afternoon, my farther asked me to help him water the plant, and I was happy to see the flowers smiling in the wind.

下午爸爸叫我帮他给植物浇水,看到那些在风中微笑的花儿我很开心。

In a word, today is a unforgetive day. because I saw my relatives and helped people.

总的说来,今天是难忘的一天.因为我去看了亲戚也帮助了他人。

Pressure seems to be a natural part in our daily life in this competitive

society. Like it or not there is always pressure of one kind or another. And it

seems there is hardly any way to avoid it or get rid of it. Moreover, as the

pace of modern life continues to quicken, pressure seems to be on the increase

all the time.

Different people have different ideas about pressure. Some hold that

pressure is something very vicious. If there is too much of it, it will lead to

the decline of ones physical and mental health. So they are always complaining

about it or trying to flee from it. They think, only relaxation, the opposite of

pressure, is what we should desire. On the other hand, others argue that

pressure is not as bad as is often thought. In fact a certain amount of pressure

is essential to provide motivation and meaning to our life. It is pressure that

propels our progress and contributes to our success.

Personally, Im in favor of the latter idea. I believe that a little

pressure is certainly an important incentive in life. It is only when the

pressure gets out of control can it lead to poor performance and bad health.

Since it is impossible to avoid pressure, certainly there is no sense trying to

do so or complaining about it.

The way of life that a group of people builds up over a long period of time becomes the peoplesCulture. Culture includes the peoples values and beliefs as well as their technical competency. Some aspects of culture are learned in a formal setting, such as a school, while other aspects are learned informally in the process of day-to-day living. A culture is always changing. Changes in s culture often come about by borrowing form another culture and by invention. To enrich the culture of our nation, we are constantly adapting new inventions and new ideas into our way of life.

在我人生的旅途中，我已走过了十几个春天。唯独在这个春天里，使我感到别样的温暖。

在这个春天里，我新结识了一位朋友叫诚挚。他是一个品行兼优，人如其名的学生。每天我们一起学习，一起玩。今年开学后发生的一件事使我对他更加敬佩。

我是微机教室里管理鞋套的，老师告诉我，如果有人没带鞋套，你就以双倍的价钱卖给他。一次，我最要好的朋友诚挚没有带鞋套，他十分着急把书包里所有的东西都倒了出来，可是依然没有鞋套的影子，他像热锅上的蚂蚁一样团团转。这时他想起了我，我那时还没来到微机教室。我一进门，他赶紧跑过来向我借鞋套。我被这突如其来的情景弄傻了。听后，我十分为难，一边是十分要好的朋友，一边是老师那十分严厉的班规。我又看看诚挚那着急的神情，我的手不由自主的伸向了鞋套，我又一想：“不行，不能借”。我慢吞吞的对诚挚说：“诚挚，对不起我不能借你。”诚挚一听，如泼了一盆冷水，悻悻而去。

窗外飘着丝丝细雨，柳树无精打采地摇着。天灰蒙蒙的，昨天还盛开的鲜花被冷风刮得枝叶乱颤，落英缤纷。讨厌的的阴雨天，我坐在座位上

发抖。我脑海中无法抹去诚挚那背影。过了一会他又回来了，他拍拍我的肩膀，我看见他手里拿了一个鞋套。我原以为他再也不搭理我了，可是他回来

之后，却大大咧咧说：“没关系，不借就不借了，班有班规，如果不严一点，班级就不像样了。”我听了之后对诚挚说：“请你原谅我吧。”诚挚说：“没事，咱们还是好朋友。”这句话如一杯浓浓的热咖啡，使我心里暖暖的，味道却是苦苦的。

这个春天里我结实了一个好朋友，诚挚。我们在各方面都互相帮助，让我感到有了知己，每天我都感觉是晴朗的，阳光明媚的。也使我在这个春天里收获了一份无比的炽热诚挚的友情。
