I want to talk about my past university—Shan Xi Da Tong University. It not only provided me learning environment, but also provided me social practice platform. 1、信头(heading)

信头是指发信人的姓名(单位名称)、地址和日期，一般写在信纸的右上角。一般公函或商业信函的信纸上都印有单位或公司的名称、地址、电话号码等，因此就只需在信头下面的右边写上写信日期就可以了。

英文地址的写法与中文完全不同，地址的名称按从小到大的顺序：第一行写门牌号码和街名;第二行写县、市、省、州、邮编、国名;然后再写日期。标点符号一般在每一行的末尾都不用，但在每一行的之间，该用的还要用，例如在写日期的时候。

其中日期的写法，如1997年7月30日，英文为：july 30，1997(最为普遍);july 30th，1997;30th july，1997等。1997不可写成97。

其中在一般的社交信中，信内收信人的地址通常省略，但是在公务信函中不能。将收信人的姓名、地址等写在信头日期下方的左角上，要求与对信头的要求一样，不必再写日期。例如：

是写信人对收信人的称呼用语。位置在信内地址下方一、二行的地方，从该行的顶格写起，在称呼后面一般用逗号(英国式)，也可以用冒号(美国式)。

(1)写给亲人、亲戚和关系密切的朋友时，用dear或my dear再加上表示亲属关系的称呼或直称其名(这里指名字，不是姓氏)。例如：my dear father，dear tom等。

(2)写给公务上的信函用dear madam，dear sir或gentleman(gentlemen)。注意：dear纯属公务上往来的客气形式。gentlemen总是以复数形式出现，前不加dear，是dear sir的复数形式。

(3)写给收信人的信，也可用头衔、职位、职称、学位等再加姓氏或姓氏和名字。例如：dear prof. tim scales, dear dr.john smith。

4、正文(body of the letter)

位置在下面称呼语隔一行，是信的核心部分。因此要求正文层次分明、简单易懂。和中文信不同的是，正文中一般不用hello!(你好!)

正文有缩进式和齐头式两种。每段书信第一行的第一个字母稍微向右缩进些，通常以五个字母为宜，每段第二行从左面顶格写起，这就是缩进式。

但美国人写信各段落往往不用缩进式，用齐头式，即每一行都从左面顶格写起。商务信件大都采用齐头式的写法。

5、结束语(complimentary close)

在正文下面的一、二行处，从信纸的中间偏右处开始，第一个词开头要大写，句末用逗号。不同的对象，结束语的写法也不同。

(1)写给家人、亲戚，用your loving grandfather，lovingly yours，lovingly等;

(2)写给熟人、朋友，用yours cordially，yours affectionately等;

(3)写业务信函用truely yours(yours truely)，faithfully yours(yours faithfully)等;

(4)对上级、长辈用yours obediently(obediently yours)，yours respectfully(respectfully yours)等。

6、签名(signature)

低于结束语一至二行，从信纸中间偏右的地方开始，在结束语的正下方，在签完名字的下面还要有用打字机打出的名字，以便识别。职务、职称可打在名字的下面。当然，写给亲朋好友的信，就不必再打了。

7、附言(postscript)

如果一封信写完了，突然又想起遗漏的事情，这时用p.s.表示，再写上遗漏的话即可，要长话短说。通常在信末签名下面几行的左方，应于正文齐头。

注意：在正式的信函中，应避免使用附言。

8、附件(enclosure)

如果信件里面有附件，可在信纸的左下角，注上encl：或enc：，例如：encl：2 photos(内附两张照片)。如果福建附件不止一项，应写成encl：或encs。

Hello everyone.Today Im glad to be here to give a speech about my fresh experience in XX University.

First I must say the campus life is really different from what I have experienced in high school.For instance,I used to lean upon my dormitory teacher to wake me up on time.But now I have to set several alarm clocks to make myself could hear them in the morning otherwise I would miss my class.And then even worse there would be nobody remind me

except my teacher!So the differences are everywhere and I could easily find them.The change of life is great and its wonderful:I have more time of my own and the rights to decide how I live.

My campus activities are rich and colorful.Learning English has become a habit to me cause I plan to study abroad in next few years.Playing Guzheng is my favorite activity.I have kept on practising it since I was a little girl and I wish to win more competitions in my campus life.

Our university has the first level equipments and the most experienced teachers,also has the best students(laugh).I consider it to be a honor that Ive got a chance to study here and I since

I have a capacious and comfortable classroom, there are many in the classroom we learn things, now I will take you to visit my classroom.

An enter a door, can see the clean and tidy desks and chairs, no matter what you see is neat, this is all part of our labor, so we will have such a comfortable environment. Every day, I cannot leave the desks and chairs, because they are with me for five years, we dont know when we became good friends.

A large blackboard is in front, and a platform. The big blackboard is our on duty every day wipe the black shiny, feels very smooth...

Looked up, and you can see the ceiling of the electric fan and electric light, the color, dark, light work, bring us the light. When students mood blundering, fan brings us a cool wind blow gently, lets back to study, read seriously.

The upper left is a book Angle, with each student to donate inside a dozen books, let us develop good study habits...

On the right side of the wall there are three large glass Windows, glass rubbed were shining brilliantly, sun slanted in and bring us a trace of warmth. Through the window you can see our campus. Every window hanging beautiful brilliant red curtains on both sides, this is our school. The window there is a few bright-coloured flower, it is our carefully cultivated flowers bring fragrance to every one of us.

我有一个宽敞又舒服的教室，教室里有许多我们学习要的东西，现在我就领你们来参观一下我的教室。

一进门，就能看见那干净整齐的课桌和椅子，不管你怎么看都是整整齐齐的，这都是我们的劳动员的功劳，所以我们才会有这么舒适的环境。每天、我都离不开课桌和椅子，因为它们伴着我有五年了，我们不知什么时候结成了好朋友。

前面是，一块大黑板和一个讲台。大黑板每天都被我们的值日生擦的黑的发亮，摸上去非常光滑……

抬头一看，就能看见天花板上的电风扇与电灯，当天色阴暗时候，电灯起到作用，给我们带来光明。当同学们心情浮躁的时候，电风扇给我们带来一习习的凉风，让我们又回到学习当中，认真读书。

左上角是一个图书角，里面有每个同学捐的十几本书，让我们养成良好的学习习惯……

右边墙上有三扇硕大玻璃窗，玻璃窗擦得晶莹透亮，阳光斜射进来，给我们带来一丝温暖。透过窗户可以看到我们校园。每扇窗户两边都挂着漂亮的艳红的窗帘，这是我们学校设计的。窗户边有几盆鲜艳花，那是我们精心培育出来的鲜花把芳香带给每一个人。

这是我们的教室，你喜欢吗?

Every family has a lot of housework.I think its our duty to help our parents do some housework.i often help my parents wash the dishes,clean the room and make the bed.I think Ive learned how to take care of myself and my family by doing housework.It can make me happy,too.And doing housework is also a kind of exercise.

The summer holiday is coming.Im going to do some shopping and water the flowers every week.I will learn how to cook delicious dishes,too.I think ill have a busy and happy holiday.

Let me tell you about it. First I have a great eating habit. I eat

vegetables and fruit every day and I drink yogurt twice a week .Although I like

junk food very much I try to eat it once a week because it is bad for my health.

And I also eat less meat. Then I hold on to playing sports every day. I jog 2

kilometers and jump 2 hours. Next I go to bed early and get up early. I keep

sleeping for about 8 hours. Having a great eating habits and doing exercise can

help me get good grades.

As you can see having a healthy life is important for everyone. Let’s have

a healthy life style and lead a happy life.

Sunrise at Sea

I would often get up early to watch the sunrise when it was not yet quiet light and all was quiet except for the droning of the ship engine.

The sky was pale with a bluish blue. Soon a streak of pink dawn broke over the horizon，expanding gradually and becoming brighter and brighter. Knowing that the sun was about to rise, I had my eyes fixed on the distant edge of the sea.

As expected, the sun soon appeared revealing half of its face, which was very red but not bright It kept rising laboriously bit by bit as if weighted down with a heavy burden on its back until，after breaking through the rosy clouds;it completely emerged from the sea aglow with a lovely red. Then，before I knew it, the dark red orb began to shine blazingly, dazzling my eyes until they stung and all of a sudden lighting up the surrounding cloud.

Sometimes，hidden by the clouds, the sun nonetheless shed its rays straight onto the sea water, making it difficult for me to distinguish between the sky and the sea because what I saw in front of me was nothing but a wide expanse of brilliant light.

Sometimes, with thick layers of dark clouds hanging in the sky, the sun was hardly visible to the naked eye. But its radiance managed to show through the dark clouds to edge them with golden lace. Then, after gradually breaking through the tight encirclement, it came into full view and even dyed the dark clouds purple or scarlet. At the moment, apart from the sun，the clouds and the seawater, I too was luminous.

Wasnt that a marvelous spectacle?
