My Life in Winter Holiday

Ihave a great time during the winter holiday, because I enjoy myself as well asfocus on my study. As it’s known to all, the Spring Festival is the mostimportant in winter holiday that would occupy much time to celebrate it.Therefore, I finished my homework first, so that it won’t bother my enjoymentduring the festival. I finished my home work in one week. And I went shoppingwith my parents. We bought a lot of things, especially snacks and fruits. Then,it was the Spring Festival. We had a big dinner on the New Year’s Eve. Myparents prepared the big dinner and I could only act as assistant. The dinnerwas so delicious that I ate so full. In the next several days, my parents and Ivisited our relatives and friends or they visited us. Sometimes, we went outfor fun together. We children were always the most excited. 心中永怀乐观，脸上常挂笑容，任何时候都不丧气，任何时候都保持激昂。欣然面对每一天，只要生命还在，就不必悲哀。

有人说，大学不过是高中的延伸，在这里还得继续高中的那种拼命苦学；又有人说，跨进大学校门，前途和事业便有了保障，可以痛痛快快玩四年了。我认为，大学是一幅空白画卷，等着你用智慧和双手描绘属于自己的七彩青春。2004年的那个夏天，带着那句“对人真诚，对己严厉”的誓言，我跨进了大学校门。

记得高中时，心中充满着对大学生活的无限憧憬：轻松洒脱的生活，半天上课，半天休息，这些都是我高三紧张烦闷学习的最好调味品。然而当我第一眼看到安排得密密麻麻的大学课程时，我那些美丽的幻想禁不住全都破碎了。上午四节，下午四节，有时晚上还有两节，比高中的课还要多。那一刻，我真有种才出龙潭，又入虎穴的感觉。可当我把这样的想法跟一位正在上大学的网友诉说时，她跟我说了一句奥斯特洛夫斯基在《钢铁是怎样炼成的》说过的话：当你回首往事的时候，能够不因虚度年华而悔恨，不因碌碌无为而羞耻。是啊，大学四年或者三年是人生最宝贵的黄金时代；青春，更是任何人只能拥有一回，如此美妙的年龄怎能荒废？但是，我的大学生活却没有一点光彩。

我不爱学习，是自己不学，自己的主观意识都已经成这样，我想没人能改变自己，只有自己能改变自己。当大家还辗转于精彩纷呈的派对、丰富多彩的社团活动、各种各样的讲座时，尽管每一项都充满着诱惑力，我却选择了一条寂寞的路。是因为自己单纯？还是因为自己经不起风浪？学习在我面前显得无足轻重。开学时，虽然我每天都往返于宿舍、食堂、教室，过着三点一线生活，但却没有认真的学习过。大一上学期结束时，我考了班上最后一名，这是我预料之中的。可当我静下心来仔细想想，如果一直这样下去，三年后我还有什么呢？显然，这样的生活是既不紧张也不充实的。

一次在网上看到的一句话给了我极大的启发：人是立体的，并不仅由某个点或面组成，我们不该给自己定死一个方向，应该各方面都尝试、体会，就像是无论偏重哪种颜色，单一得永远不能组成彩虹一样。顿时，我明白大学的生活应该不单要学习，还应该有更丰富多彩的内容。可我却什么都没有，我正想努力的使自己在每个方面都能有所表现。但是，生活中的有些事不是你不想去理就不理的。在这个时候有件事使我不得不重新作考虑，我不知道自己以后将在何方？又将有什么样的生活？但我已新作了自己的决定。可能有很多人并不能理解，但这可能已不重要。

自大一以来，我虽没有认真的学习过，也没有做过自己力所能及的社会工作，但我那一颗很想踊跃参加的心却是不能否认的。这其中有被理解的满足也有被人误解的苦恼，但我始终都保持着一份平常心。做每一件事都是循着自己的意思去做，也是充满自信的。无论大家怎样看我，虽然很多没有用在学习上，但我觉得我还是对得起自己，我最看重的就是一种尝试，一份热情，一段无悔的付出，它们使我明白了责任，懂得了理解，学会了坚强。

可现实生活中的事真的说不清的，不是我想怎么样就能怎么样的，虽然我觉得我很坚强，但现在却还是被生活所打败，我只能是无语。我知道以后的时间里会有什么事情发生，那就是我所作的决定，至于是什么决定，就不必说了。那只是自己的事情，我觉得是没有必要对别人说出口的。不过，无论我作了什么决定，我头脑还是清醒的，我知道我年轻、也有热情、我不怕失败。就凭着这份初生牛犊不怕虎的冲劲儿，我也要去拼搏一次，但这其中也有一点去赌一次的味道。无论是什么，我都会坚持的，不会有什么抱怨。

这种曲折的经历本身就是一种财富。我会尽力的去争取，我相信：有热情，有冲劲，还有什么完不成呢？这也是我在这次考虑的过程中体会最深的一点：时刻保持热情，保持斗志，就能克服困难。我知道，以后的生活将会困难重重，但我想我是不会怕的，鲁迅先生有一句话：“时间就像海绵里的水，只要挤，总是有的。”所以，我也会到这个竞争激烈的社会中去挤出属于自己的一片天地，不说大的天地，能挤出一片小的天地我就满足了，在满足的基础上再去继续去争取。或许是争取用最短的时间完成最多的工作任务。当然，为了掌握更多、更精的知识，我免不了要牺牲一些休息和娱乐的时间，付出比别人更多的精力，但我觉得很值得。也只有这样才能有自己一片天地的希望。我的大学生活就这样快要结束了，比别人早结束了两年。

很幸运自己也有一段大学生活，只是更多的还是遗憾。遗憾自己不能继续与大学同学一起去努力。大学是纯真的代名词，是青春的激扬，是个性的飞扬，是提升自我的训练营，是造梦的工厂……虽然我只有一年的大学生活，但在这里我学会了独立，学会了坚强，学会了做人，懂得了如何正确接受成功和失败，看待现实与未来。在不久的一天，我将会跨出大学校门，走向新的起点。“告别迷惘的昨天，微笑面对明天，漫漫远方路，将成为我不懈的追求。”愿自己一路顺风！在此，也希望我的大学同学们永远快乐！

大学生活是多姿多彩的，但也需要我们去把握和深人体会。有人说：“平凡的大学生有着相同的平凡，而不平凡的大学却有着各自的辉煌。”但，你可以选择平凡，但却不可以选择平庸；可以的话，相信谁都想不平凡。那么，怎样才能使自己的大学生活充实有意义，怎样做主自己的大学生活呢？我随便谈谈个人的几点观点。

首先是要确立目标和计划，放远目光。古人有“志当存高远”，毛泽东也有“风物长宜放眼量”。没有目标便没有前进的努力方向，也毫无动力可言。计划目标，又可分为近期和远期。如近期我要看完多少本书，这一个月我要学懂什么知识，假期有什么实践打算等等。远期的如：争取毕业前拿到自考文凭，人际关系网应该多大，实践能力应有达到怎样的程度等等。而且，目标的实现又是一个个小怒表实现的连贯过程。如一天记5个单词，到考前便可记到很多。但，这需要坚持和毅力。

第二，是要放远眼光，是指不被暂时的情绪和心情所拖所沉溺，要成就大事业，就必须大事抓紧，小事放松。如，不要被上网玩游戏等所带来的满足感所一直沉溺，孰不知，暂时满足的背后的更大的空虚。相信大家都有这种体会。

第三是树立就业危机感。我们总是在怪自己自己控力不强，没有上进的动力。孰不知是自己的意识上没有清醒。有人会说：“爱情是学习的动力”或“家境贫穷的学习的动力”等等。其实，从直接意义上来说，就业危机感才是也应该是我们上进的动力。我自己常想自己毕业以后究竟能干什么？又多从报纸杂志上看到目前就业形势的异常严峻，所以心里很是后怕。有人说目前找工作：要么有关系，要么有文凭，要么有才能（技能）。而我们呢？文凭，只是大专；关系，相信在坐的大部都没有什么关系。所以，我们唯一的出路便是要有什么才能。而这，就要问问自己：你学到了什么，你掌握了什么？现在的问题不是我们不知道学什么，而是我们不想学。

第四，是要学知识与发展能力并举。以前是重知识而轻能力，但现在不同了，恰相反，由于社会上影响，文凭要求的适当下降，所以现在的很多大学生纷纷跑出外面找兼职。如果他们是在不影响学习的前提下去的，那没话说，反而应该提倡。但他们有些不是，为了一份端菜的服务生工作，不惜请假旷颗，晚自习也不上。我身边就有这样的现象。现在，出现了这样一种错位思潮，就是，在职的机关企业工作人员，纷纷利用业余时间”充电“，而在校的大学生们却纷纷跑到社会兼职。我觉的应该纠正这种思潮，归位。

In my understanding, if we refer to an ideal college life as a formal western dinner, then a high GPA, that is, Grade Point Average, should be the main course, while an active part in activities, together with associations, means the appetizer.
