My college is inside the biggest university of Guangxi so that everytime I have to across a big campus to go out. At first Iam upset about that, but later on I get used to it. My college looks modernization in general. When I arrive at the school gate, the first thing is the boys’ dormitory and then is the playground. Look up! I see the canteen. I see the girls’ dormitory turn left. But where is my classroom? I look around but can’t find it. It turns out that it is separated by burrows. It’s strange,right? While I go across the burrow, I see another two big playgrounds and a tenniscourt at my left side. What is in my right side? Turn right, I see rows of teaching building connecting with the library. This is my college. I like it notonly because of the evironment but also the people there.

我等了许久，才到厨房里关电源，但是一掀盖我却呆了：米饭怎么变的似干饭又似稀饭啊！但我还是将米饭端到了餐桌上。我想：爸爸妈妈回来时看到我自己会煮饭了一定很欣慰，看见爸爸妈妈回来了，我兴高采烈地把饭盛好给爸爸妈妈，爸妈见了都惊呆了，“从没做过饭的女儿也会做饭了，看来我们得好好享用才是，”我却不好意思地说：“煮的不是很好，怕你们吃不下呢？”没想到爸妈吃着难吃的饭嘴上却一直夸着我还说：“没关系第一次做饭难免会失误嘛！以后慢慢就好了。”我听了后很高兴。

我们知道，很多人认为大学生活是自由、舒适的，但我想说这不是真的。事实上，我的大学生活是如此的忙碌，以至于我都不知道我的能量是否足够。至于我的大学生活，我把它分为四个部分，包括学习，学生活动，图书馆和其他的。

Firstly, I want to talk about thestudy. In my opinion, study is the priority in college. When I received theletter of admission in summer, I knew clearly that what I should do. So I makeup my mind to study hard and pursue learning as much as possible. I’m greatlyconvinced that knowledge can change my life. Therefore, I often go to the quietstudy room where many people study there. By working so hard, I get good gradesin the exams.

首先，我想谈谈学习。在我看来，学习是大学该优先考虑的。当我在夏天收到录取通知书时，我就清楚地知道我应该做什么。所以我下定决心努力学习，尽可能多的追求学问。我非常相信知识可以改变我的生活。因此，我常常去安静的自习室学习，有很多人在那里学习。通过努力学校，我在考试中取得了好成绩。

Secondly, student activities playan important role in our college life. To be honest, the student Union is agood place where one can develop social skills, get his abilities trained. Itake part in many student activities. For example, I’ m a volunteer, teachingthe kids to learn to dance and write. I think it’s meaningful for everyone togive a hand to others. I can also do some jobs in the Student Union, includingreceiving and sending fast mail, selling papers and magazines. I think they’re unforgettableand worthwhile experiences for me.

其次，在我们的大学生活中学生活动中起了重要的作用。老实说，学生会是一个很好的地方，一个可以培养社会技能的地方，一个训练自己能力的地方。我参加了许多学生活动。例如，我是一个志愿者，教孩子们学习舞蹈和写作。我认为帮助别人是有意义的。我还可以在学生会中做一些工作，包括接收和发送快速电子邮件，卖报纸和杂志。我觉得他们是我难忘的、有价值的经验。

Thirdly, I also visit the libraryconstantly. It’s said that “shelves of books, oceans of knowledge”, so I readbooks that I’m interested in. In this way, I can share stories with my new friendsand it also changes my horizons .When I’m sad, lost or in trouble, staying thelibrary makes me quiet and comfortable. After all, every life has bad momentsas well as good ones, and the library for me is a support in bad moments. So it’s wise choice for me to stay in thelibrary.

第三，我经常去图书馆。据说“书架上的书，知识的海洋，所以我阅读我感兴趣的书。这样，我可以和我的新朋友分享故事，也改变了我的视野。在我难过，迷失或陷入困境的时候，呆在图书馆能让我感到安静和舒适。毕竟，每个人的生活都有不好和好的时候，图书馆对我来说也是心情不好时的一种支撑。所以对我来说呆在图书馆是明智的选择。

Finally, I often do other thingsin my spare time. In order to alleviate parents’ burden, I often do somepart-time jobs and write some articles to earn money. It helps me to beindependent and improve my social skills.

最后，我经常在空余时间做一些其他的事情。为了减轻父母的负担，我经常做一些兼职工作，写一些文章来赚钱。它帮助我变得独立，改善我的社交能力。

In short, mylife in university is busy but valuable. You can see that study brings me knowledge,student activities improve myself, library changes my horizons, the othersthings make me independent. They get all my abilities trained. And I see thatthe chance will come only if you have a prepared mind, so I’m sure that I canachieve my dreams in college life.

总之，我的大学生活是忙碌而有价值的。你可以看到学习带给我知识，学生活动提升我自己，图书馆改变了我的视野，其他的事情让我变得独立。它们让我所有的能力得到训练。我看到机会只会留给有准备的人，所以我相信在大学生活中我能实现我的梦想。

我们每个人在生活中都有自己的喜怒哀乐，可有的事是喜是悲要看你从哪个角度去想了。开心的度过一天是过了，悲伤的度过一天也是过了，为何不开心的乐观的去面对现实呢?人们要学会知足常乐。我这里有一个很好的例子： Each of us has our own joy and sorrow in life. But there is something to think about which perspective you think about it.It ’s time for a happy day, and the sadness of sadness is also over. Why not face reality unhappy and optimistic? People must learn to be contentment.I have a good example here:

一天，一位妈妈带着她的双胞胎女儿来花园看玫瑰。哇，花园里开满了玫瑰，妈妈简直都要陶醉了。于是他问两个女儿：“你们觉得这个地方怎么样?”姐姐回答说：“这儿太糟了，每一朵花底下都有好多刺，真讨厌!”而妹妹却说：“这儿太好了，妈妈，我喜欢这里，虽然枝条上都有刺，可每个枝条上都有一朵美丽的花，多么可爱啊!”

后来，为了试探两个双胞胎姐妹的反应，妈妈在她们生日的时候送了不同的礼物——在姐姐的房间里放了各种新奇的、五光十色的电子游戏机，而在妹妹的房间里则放了一小袋鱼食。晚上，妈妈走进大女儿的房间，发现她正坐在玩具堆中哭泣。

“今天是你的生日，你为什么哭呢?”妈妈问道。

“我有这么多新玩具，这可不是什么好事。因为，我还得读懂那么多使用说明书才能够玩。另外，这些玩具要不停的换电池，多麻烦!而且，再新再好的玩具最后都要坏掉，这怎么能不让我伤心呢?”

妈妈又走进二女儿的房间时，却发现她正抱着鱼食高兴得手舞足蹈。

“咦?你高兴什么呀?”

“妈妈，你送给我鱼食，咱们家一定是要养小金鱼了吧，我能不高兴吗?”

看了这个故事大家应该都觉得姐姐的观点非常不对，因为她只看到了枝条上的刺和玩具的麻烦，感觉很糟糕，却没有像妹妹一样看到了美丽的花和未来的可爱小金鱼。这就是做人悲观和乐观的不同。

大家一定要像故事中的妹妹一样生活才会美好!

I enjoy summer vacation very much.Becausesummer vacation is the longest vacation of the year. We have more than fifty days to rest. Though it is very hot, we can either go to swim or stay in the air-conditioned room.

In the evening, I like to go shopping with my friends.We can eat many things in summer, such as ice creams, watermelons, grapes, and so on.In summer, I always go on a trip with my parents. Its a good chance for us to visit some nice interesting places.

But unfortunately, we dont have this subject here.My ideal is to be a director and one day be able to make my own movies. 人有悲欢离合，月有阴晴残缺。我相信，每个人都有遇到挫折的时候，也许，有人会哭，有人会放弃，有人会知难而退。但是我却不会像那些人一样。当我面对挫折的时候，我会微笑地告诉自己：“不要放弃!” People have sad and happy clutch, and the moon is cloudy and incomplete.I believe that when everyone encounters frustration, maybe someone will cry, some will give up, and some will retreat.But I wont be like those people.When I face frustration, I will tell myself with a smile: "Dont give up!"

正因为太阳永不放弃，所以它才冲破了地平线放光万里;正因为小草的永不放弃，它才能冲破黑暗，遍布大地。它们都不会放弃，我还有什么理由说放弃呢?

挫折是治疗骄傲的一剂良药，可以使人及时悔过和反省。挫折是在你身后的一场风暴，如若你放任自流，这场可怕的风暴将会随时降临。挫折也是美丽的母亲，没有挫折在前面受苦，就没有美丽的幸福生活。

贝多芬是一位举世闻名的音乐家。可是他在中年时却遭到了对于他来说最致命的`打击双耳失聪。这将意味着他无法像常人那样对自己创作的曲子进行修改，但是他并没有因此而沉沦，反而更加坚强。他不畏艰难，继续想方设法地创作，终于功夫不负有心人，巨作《命运交响曲》回报了他。还有世界“发明大王”爱迪生，几乎人人都仰慕他的智慧，可是有谁能知道，在他那数不清的名誉的背后，究竟经历了多少次的失败和挫折。然而他也没有气馁，没有知难而退，而是始终如一，依旧保持着面对挫折、永不服输的激情，因而他创造出了属于自己的美丽人生!

正所谓“不经风雨，怎能见彩虹”，贝多芬和爱迪生正是经受了挫折，用自己永不放弃的精神战胜了它们，才得到了属于自己的万里晴空和美丽彩虹。可见，挫折并不可怕，可怕的是对挫折畏惧的一种态度。

当我面对挫折的时候，我不能让步，也不能因为一点点挫折，就把自己贬得一文不值。就像有一个人不慎跌进了泥坑，却犹如跌到了地狱，从此备受无尽的轮回之苦;而另一个人同样跌进了这片泥坑，但他与前者不同，他坚强地爬了起来，带着身上的泥土继续享受着阳光的温暖。

因此，我要把一个个挫折当作一个个教训，一个个历程，要不断地告诫自己：“你的朋友痛苦的结果是将生出一颗珍珠，而你却一无所获。”是的，只有付出，才有回报;只有正视挫折，即使是在黑暗的道路上前行，也会有美丽的曙光向你招手!

I did a great thing in the winter holiday.One day,I was going to the book store and suddenly I found a paper money which worth 100 RMB.I looked around and picked it up.At first,I wanted to use it and I can save my own money.However,I thought a lot and I decided to wait for the person who lost the money at last.10 mintues later,a little boy who was anxious came towards me and asked me if I had picked up 100 yuan.I handed the money to him and he was surprised to get the money back.I was very happy when he said "thank you" to me.then I went back home with a big smile.

秋风起，黄花落。一簇金黄月桂，带着几滴晶莹的露珠，随风徐徐落下，落在我掌心里，留下一圈水印。嗅着那股熟悉的清香，便想到那个慈祥温柔的老人，想到那股因爱而得的勇气。 autumn wind rises, yellow flowers fall.A cluster of golden laurel, with a few drops of crystal dew, fell slowly with the wind, fell into my palm, leaving a circle of watermarks.Thinking of the familiar fragrance, thinking of the kind and gentle old man, thinking of the courage to get because of love.

外婆爱桂花。傍晚，她总会带着我在门前的桂树下坐几个时辰，顺带吃晚饭。而菜肴，几乎都与桂花有关。“囡囡，好吃不?”她问道，我抓耳挠腮，不知怎么回答。桂花，我早就吃腻了。而外婆那双憧憬的眼，慢慢黯淡下来。轻叹：“囡囡不喜欢外婆啊?”

我心头一紧，急得满脸通红。“不是!我，我……”不知为何，本想说“我最爱外婆”的我，突然就没有勇气了。害羞含蓄的我，从不敢对人直白自己的感情——我实在没有勇气。

后来，父母接我到了城里，城市奢华富丽，美味佳肴花样百出。不觉，我竟怀念起那股沁香……

一个雨天，我独自回家。狂风卷起圈圈沙尘，暴雨凌厉如剑，不留余力地捅向雨伞，漫天乌云似要把世界吞噬，让人感觉压抑万分。我瑟抖着，用力拽紧上衣，扯住在暴雨中仿佛不堪一击的伞，冲回家里。

上了楼，黑暗中好像有人坐在门前，走近一看，竟是外婆!“外婆?”我打开门，急忙把她拉进家里，细细打量。她的双目浊了，皱纹也多了不少。看着她湿透的衣服，我拿来棉衣想帮她换上，她却笑着摇头，径自往厨房跑。那慈爱的眼神，显得那般坚定。

我心里顿时有万千情感涌上，望着她瘦削的背影，突然想抱住她。可手，却停在了半空。“为什么你如此胆怯，她是你最亲的人啊!”我想着，落寞一笑，走出阳台——果真我是没有勇气的人呢!

“吃饭了!”那亲切的声音传来，我看着那桌上的菜，熟悉的清香铺天盖地地卷来。一时间，心中激起无限感慨，眼前一切竟模糊了起来。

“傻囡囡，怎么哭了?”她那只饱经风霜的手，温柔地拂去我的泪，眼里满是心痛。“外婆，囡囡永远爱你!”我哽咽着，终于说了出来，她一怔，一串浊泪落下。“外婆一直知道呢……”

我含着泪，嫣然一笑——终于，我做了个有勇气的人!我知道，是外婆的爱，使我有了勇气。而我的勇气，更使外婆温暖。做一个有勇气的人吧，告诉你爱的人你爱他，不要让自己留下遗憾!

秋风又起，桂花飞舞。那灿烂的颜色，如同我的勇气，绚烂了整个秋天……
