到了学校,除了我,没有一个人,看看学校的钟,才5:00,我更高兴了,我悄悄走进老师的办公室,原先,只要一踏进办公楼,心里就“砰砰”直跳,今天,却很冷静。走到了老师窗前,推开窗户,窗前就是老师的办公桌,桌子左上角是一本日历,上面还是7月份的,已占满灰尘,可以看得出老师连翻日历的时间都没有,桌子右上角放着一台地球仪,球面上全是老师的沾满粉笔灰的手印,地球仪的下面有一个笔筒,里面全是笔,呀!老师真节约呀,一枝不到5厘米的铅笔竟还在用,笔筒右边是一瓶盖子还没盖好的红墨水。桌子中间放了一本关好了的语文书和教学参考书,一副框架磨得发亮的眼镜……我看着看着,老师那中等的身材,霜白的两鬓,有皱纹的额头和慈祥的目光,浮现在我的眼前,那嘶哑的嗓音,亲切的教诲,热情的鼓励和严厉的批评,环绕在我耳际。

我把日历翻到了9月10日教师节,把一束菊花轻轻地插进了老师的笔筒,菊花代表我对老师的感激。另一束放在日历旁边,代表着今天祝老师节日的祝福。一阵瑟瑟的秋风吹过办公桌上几束色彩艳丽的野菊花散发着浓郁的芳香,弥漫了整个校园……我默默的念着:老师,我不是您最出色的学生,而您是我最尊敬的老师。在您的节日里,我把这份特殊的礼物送给您,老师,节日快乐!

My Father

There is always a brilliant image living in my heart. That is my dear father. Seen through the eyes of many other people, father seems to be a very ordinary person. And the remainingcolonists decided to celebrate with a feast ——including 91 Indians who had helped the Pilgrims survive their first year. Itis believed that the Pilgrims would not have made it through the year withoutthe help of the natives. The feast was more of a traditional English harvestfestival than a true “thanksgiving” observance. It lasted three days.
