中国国家有很强的家庭观念,在一些重要的日子总是有家庭聚会。年夜饭是一个重要的习俗在新年前夕。他们通常喜欢一个大宴会。饺子和鱼必须在除夕的年夜饭。有些人会将一枚硬币放在一个饺子。吃这饺子的人会认为是一个幸运的人。鱼不能吃,因为谐音的鱼意味着额外的东西。,它代表着希望与丰富繁荣的一年,甚至额外的财富和运气。

盼望着，盼望着，我朝思暮想的春节终于来临了，不仅结束了辉煌的虎年，而且也迎来了金色的充满希望的兔年!

我就像一只雀跃的小燕子，一会儿飞到东，一会儿飞到西，嘴里还不停地唧唧喳喳地叫着，整天笑哈哈，不知笑的啥，在大人的面前跑前跑后，兴奋极了。我们来到大街上，只见倪虹灯闪烁个不停，到处张灯结彩，对联一副副的贴上，上面写着吉祥的话语，门上倒贴着一个大大的“福”字。正在这时一个小朋友大声呼喊：“福倒了!福倒了!”奶奶乐了：“对!对!福到了!福到了!”大家都笑了，笑得合不拢嘴，那个小男孩恍然大悟。我们买了很多很多物品，满载而归。

我们吃过晚饭，等待着这激动人心的时刻，“3--2--1”瞬时，烟花四射，仿佛如惊雷般的响声出现，我忙出来观看，这一看可了不得，天空呈现迷人的黑色，再加上灿烂的烟花，让人目不暇接，红的，紫的，蓝的，绿的，金的……五彩缤纷，一个比一个漂亮，一个比一个高，就象在比美似的，只见一个金色的点，高高的飞起，然后只听见山呼海啸般的响声，空中散发出彩色的烟花，美极了!

我一看，这么好玩儿，让我也来试试吧!于是我拿起彩珠筒放了起来，可是我根本没有看说明，把它像枪一样，拿在手中“砰、砰”的发射，旁边有几个小朋友，眼里流露出羡慕的神色，我得意地放着，不料“嘣”的一声，彩珠炸了，把我脸上炸了一个黑黑的痕迹，眼泪不由自主的在眼睛里打转，因此，我在这里对大家说：鞭炮虽然好玩，但随时会出危险，请大家玩的时候要特别小心，要仔细阅读说明书，千万别出事。

今年的春节十分热闹，家里来了许多客人，叙叙旧，聊聊天，真是一个愉快的新年!让我回味无穷。

The Lunar New Year

The Lunar New Year is a great occasion to the Chinese people。 It lasts about the first four days of the year， during which people do not work except for the workers on duty。 Students do not go to school， and shops are closed。

Several days before the new year， people begin to prepare。 Farmers kill pigs， sheep， cocks and hens。 City dwellers buy meat fish and vegetables。  Houses are cleaned； coupletsare posted on the doors。 Colourful lanterns are hung at the gate。

On the eve of the new year， each family has its members gatherd together and eats a family reunion dinner。 After the meal they watch TV until the clock strickes twelve。 Then every family sets off long strings of small firecrackers and other fire works to wele the new year。 On the first day of the new year， almost everyone is dressed in his or her best。 When people meet on the way， they say to each other "Happy New Year"。 Friends and relatives pay new year calls and gives presents to each other。 Children indulge themselves in games。

每当春节来临，家家户户的鞭炮声就此起彼伏，新春的愉悦氛围在一阵阵鞭炮声中变得更加浓郁。可是，你们知道过春节为什么要放鞭炮吗?这里还有一个有趣的故事呢!

传说很久很久以前，有一种叫年的怪兽。它的身体有几头大象那么大，说龙不像龙，说麒麟不像麒麟，非常凶猛。每到没有月亮的黑夜，它就跑出来吃人。人们都很害怕这个怪兽，每天惶惶不安，东躲西藏。天上的玉帝知道了，派神农老祖来降伏年。神农老祖对着年一阵鞭打，然后把它关进了天牢。

可是不久，玉帝又可怜起年来，答应每年月亮圆过十二回后，就放它下凡界，给它一个夜晚的时间吃东西。这晚就是年三十夜。年回到人间后，变得更加凶残，一次能把一个村庄的人都吃光。每到年三十夜，年都要到人间来吃人，而这一夜，所有的人家都彻夜不眠，点上蜡烛，说一些吉利的话，相互安慰。有一年，一位八十多岁的老人对大家说：与其等着白白被年吃了，还不如团结起来跟它斗呢!

于是年三十夜，人们聚集在一起，点燃了一捆捆的青竹。冲天的火光和劈里啪啦的爆裂声，把年吓得抱着脑袋，逃回了天上。

天亮了，人们纷纷走出家门，寻亲访友，连声说：恭喜恭喜!大家庆贺没有被年吃掉。

人们都说：众人拾柴火焰高。果然，人们通过团结打败了庞而凶猛的年，今天，人们才能幸福快乐地度过每一个春节。
