一朵朵烟花炮弹在空中绽放，一声声欢笑刻在了人们心田。鞭炮花式十分之多，从十楼观望着，真是有点儿像开国大典中那天上的火花结成彩，地上的灯火一片红的场景呢!放鞭炮最开心的就是小朋友了，催促着大人点燃鞭炮，那火花喷出来时，一个个嘴都咧歪了。这场景，冬眠的小动物都想探出脑袋来看一看呢!忙碌工作中的人也会在过年时放放鞭炮，其实很多大人也有一颗童真的心。

“砰砰砰”看着绽放的烟火，就似乎走进了梦幻一般的世界，五彩斑斓的颜色，使人心中有着无限的遐想。

这声声鞭炮，是对冬天的告别，是对春天的呼唤，是告诉我们又大了一岁，应该又多了一分懂事。着声声鞭炮，也是告别2013，更是迎来2014，每个人都有着新一年的希望和憧憬。

鞭炮虽然为我们添了新年的色彩，但鞭炮严重污染环境，所以我们在欢乐的同时，也要少放鞭炮，保护我们共同的家园。

The temple fair has horse racing and camel racing. These contests are not for the first who is second, but for the good posture and skill of the horse, camel and rider in front of the audience. The sky is full of colors. Will put every year before the fireworks began, every family put their most beautiful fireworks in the sky, fireworks bursting in the black night sky, a than a bright, the sky seems to be holding a beauty contest.

How beautiful! All the people stopped at that moment, only to hear the exclamations of the fireworks, the adults faces showed the innocence of the smile, and began to recall their happy childhood. 我们祖国有悠久的历史，有着许多传统节日，还有一些各具特色的民风民俗。但我最喜欢的传统节日是：春节。除夕过了，春节也就到了，新的一年开始了。

除夕那天真热闹，家家赶做年菜，到处是酒肉的香味。男女老少都穿起新衣，门外贴上了红红的对联，屋里贴好了各色的年画。除夕夜家家灯火通宵，不许间断，鞭炮声日夜不绝。在外边做事的人除非万不得已，必定赶回家来吃团圆饭。这一夜，除了很小的孩子，没有什么人睡觉都要守岁。春节的光景与除夕那天截然不同：铺户都上着板子，门前堆着昨夜燃放的爆竹纸皮，全城都在休息。男人们午前到亲戚家朋友家拜年。女人们在家中接待客人。城内城外许多寺院举办庙会，小贩们在庙外摆摊卖茶，食品和各种玩具。小孩子们特别爱逛庙会，为的是有机会到城外看看野景，可以骑毛驴，还能买到新年特有的玩具。庙会上有赛马的，还有赛骆驼的。这些比赛并不为争谁第一谁第二，而是在观众面前表演马，骆驼与骑者的美好姿态与娴熟技能。“嘭”天空中五颜六色的。原来每年必放的烟花开始了，家家户户都把自家最美的烟花放上了天空，烟花在黑色的夜空中绽开来，一个比一个光彩夺目，天空中似乎正在举行一场选美比赛。

美极了！所有人顿时停留在了那一刻，只听到烟花绽放时的惊叹声，大人们脸上露出了童真的笑容，开始回忆起自己的美好童年。同时，我们都悄悄许了愿望：希望今年我能以一个优秀的成绩考上一座中学！新的一年，新的开始。希望今年六年级的同学都一齐努力，用一个好成绩来创造自己的未来。

will christmas replace the spring festival?

christmas arouses increasing attention year by year in china. christmas cards become popular with students. people hold christmas parties and exchange christmas girts. a lot or tv and radio programs about christmas are on. meanwhile the spring festival is less appealing (有吸引力的)to youngsters. thus some people wonder whether christmas will replace the spring festival.

this worry is fairly unnecessary. why ? one reason lies that christmas only affects christians，college students and joint-venture (合资企业)workers. another reason is that christmas is mostly celebrated in cities. few people in countryside show extreme interest in this exotic(带有异国情调的) festival. by contrast，the spring festival is the most influential traditional festival in every family.

i think，it is natural that with increasing exchanges with the west，a lot of western holidays have been gradually introduced into china. for us chinese we should never neglect or even discard our own traditional festivals. for centuries chinese have observed this traditional holiday to welcome the beginning of a new year. and we will treasure the spring festival forever.

There are many traditional cultures. I like Spring Festival best.

Legend has it that there was once a monster named nian who often went to the village to harm people, eat cattle and sheep. So, people want to get rid of it. However, no matter what people do, they cant get rid of the year. In the end, a child accidentally lit the bamboo and made a crackling noise, and nian was scared away. People are happy. Later, people set off firecrackers on this day in order to commemorate the happy day. Later, it gradually became the "Spring Festival" festival.

I go back to my hometown every year. Every year, its very busy. On the eve of the New Year, it is also called New Years eve. Every family is affixed with spring couplet, affixed "fu" word. 春节是中国传统节日，是合家团聚节日，是欢乐喜庆节日。春节欢乐祥和热闹，家家贴春联、放鞭炮。我喜欢放鞭炮，噼里啪啦、乒乒乓乓，电光闪闪，十分热闹，十分开心。儿时胆子小，不敢放炮仗，只能将小鞭炮拆开，点支香一个一个放。长大了，无论什么鞭炮都喜欢放。一到年三十晚上鞭炮焰火要放许多，因此从来都不赞成制定禁止燃放烟花爆竹规定。燃放烟花爆竹历来是欢度春节象征，古时人们用以驱赶“年”，现在则是欢乐喜庆象征，如果春节没有了烟花爆竹，也就少了些喜庆气氛，没有了年味。2008北京奥运开幕式烟花多精彩，世界瞩目。当然，我们在燃放烟花爆竹时候一定要注意安全，防止事故，以防乐极生悲。
