放鞭的隐患太多了，几年前有个小孩把冲天炮射进了我们楼上的一家，而这家人刚好回乡下去了，结果引发了大火，把他们家烧得一片狼藉。好在消防队员来得及时，好不容易扑灭了大火。13年前，就是因为这类事情太多了，所以政府要我们禁鞭，而我们也很拥护。但今年政府又改了这条禁令，改成了限鞭，因为不放鞭这过年就没什么意思，但要在规定的地方买，还要在规定的时间和地方放。只要在安全又不扰民的条件下就可以开心地放鞭了。

在大年三十，我们小区的物业管理公司也组织了放烟花的活动，就在我们家门前的广场上。到晚上六点，我们可以从家里的阳台上清楚地看到楼下放烟花的景观。快六点的时候，从广场上传来震耳欲聋的爆炸声，我立刻跑到阳台，只见眼前都是美丽的烟花，红的、绿的、蓝的、紫的……。爸爸拿起早已准备好的数码相机，拍下了这令人难忘的一幕。

事后我还就是否同意禁鞭在我们家做了一个小调查，结果是妈妈和奶奶同意过年放鞭，说是放烟花鞭炮才像过年。而我和爸爸不同意放鞭，因为我和爸爸觉得放鞭太吵人了，而且还有一定的危险。所以政府采用了既不完全禁鞭又不完全放开的限鞭规定，真可谓是皆大欢喜。

春节的时候，对于我们来说，什么游戏最好玩?不用说，当然是放鞭炮了!

那时我和堂姐买了好多的鞭炮，有擦炮;有扔炮;有大地开花;还有的鞭炮我连名字都说不出来，琳琅满目，应有尽有。但是能玩鞭炮大战的鞭炮只有一种，那就是扔炮。因为扔炮不仅威力小，也不会怎么伤人，而且，也不需要点火，就不用担心，衣服被烧个小洞洞了。

我们约了几个伙伴，分好组后，就决定开战。第一战：地雷战。在一块撒满鞭炮碎屑的石板上，埋上五枚扔炮。(扔炮受到重压也会引爆)然后一队从上面经过，每人至少走三步，如果踩上引爆了，则输了，换下一个人，过一个，记一分。埋好“地雷”后，我们就开始行动了。没想到，除了我之外的两个男队友，这么不给力，一上去就给我们组引爆了三个，(有人脚大一次引爆了两个)只剩下我这个“顶梁柱”。我仔细的看了一遍，小心翼翼地迈着，每踩一步都思考许久，已过了两步，就看最后一步了，此时我手心额头都冒汗了。这一步可要小心，我再三斟酌着，赌一把吧，就踩在这里。耶!我为我们男生队得了一分。当时女生队基本上都从石板边缘走，而扔炮，几乎是埋在中间的，所以她们得了两分，比我们队高一分，唉，出师不利啊!

第二战，也是总决赛。只要把鞭炮扔到对方某队友所在的石板上并且引爆，那么此队友就淘汰了，剩下几人，就得几分。比赛开始了!我们每人拿了一盒扔炮，跑到了赛前说好了的掩护地点。可就在谁都不会想到的时刻，我发起了进攻。即在别人还在跑向掩护点的过程中，(我们并没规定在跑的过程中不能攻击)我就花费了五六个鞭炮，干掉对方一个。俗话说的好“不怕神一样的敌人就怕猪一样的队友”，没过多久，我们队就剩我一人在孤军奋战了。没一会儿，比赛结果就出来了，我赢了。我们两队打成平局了!

比赛还在激烈的继续着，噼里啪啦声、欢笑声······组成一首美妙的交响曲!

The Chinese have specific way to celebrate their new year. If you walk down the street in Chinatown during Chinese New Year, you see a variety of ancient traditions such as red banners, firecrackers and lion dance performances, streets are filled with lively celebration.

However, legend has said that the new year has not always been a time of festivity. An Asian Chinese story told a chilly start to this festive holiday, it begins with an ancient Chinese beast called Nian.

Every New Year Nian would rise from swelling in the sea to ravage Chinese village in livestock and hurting people. The villages soon found out from a wise gray-haired old man that the only way to scare the beast away was to set off firecrackers and light lamps and to hang red banners on each door. As the story goes, this was the beginning of a tradition that would last thousands of years.

So this story leads to the creation of many of other traditions for celebrating Chinese New Year. lets take a look at some of these traditions.

Before the festival comes, everyone will do some cleaning. That means they can sweep away the bad luck. They will decorate the doors and windows with paper cuts. That makes the house very beautiful. On the New Years Eve, everyone will get together and have a big meal. They wont go to bed until 12. On the New Years day, everyone will wish others "Happy New Year". Children can get lucky money.
