放鞭的隐患太多了，几年前有个小孩把冲天炮射进了我们楼上的一家，而这家人刚好回乡下去了，结果引发了大火，把他们家烧得一片狼藉。好在消防队员来得及时，好不容易扑灭了大火。13年前，就是因为这类事情太多了，所以政府要我们禁鞭，而我们也很拥护。但今年政府又改了这条禁令，改成了限鞭，因为不放鞭这过年就没什么意思，但要在规定的地方买，还要在规定的时间和地方放。只要在安全又不扰民的条件下就可以开心地放鞭了。

一直到晚上十二点，都有零零星星的鞭炮声从远近不同的地方传来。晚上十二点整，新年的钟声敲响了，鞭炮声、烟花爆破声响成一片，一浪高过一浪。爸爸和我向楼顶跑去，一到楼顶就看见整个武汉市都笼罩在美丽的焰火下，烟花、鞭炮噼里啪啦，震耳欲聋。硝烟的气息弥漫在空气中，久久没有散去。

事后我还就是否同意禁鞭在我们家做了一个小调查，结果是妈妈和奶奶同意过年放鞭，说是放烟花鞭炮才像过年。而我和爸爸不同意放鞭，因为我和爸爸觉得放鞭太吵人了，而且还有一定的危险。所以政府采用了既不完全禁鞭又不完全放开的限鞭规定，真可谓是皆大欢喜。
