我喜欢的节日有很多，有清明节、有端午节、有儿童节、有中秋节，但我最喜欢的就是春节了。

除夕夜，街上“劈劈啪啪”的鞭炮声接连不断，空中闪烁着耀眼的火花，家家户户灯火通明，金黄色、黄绿色的窗户，在忽明忽暗、忽燃忽灭花中，好象同时打开的电视机，在播放精彩的节目。

我站在六楼的阳台上，放眼望去，除夕夜晚的天空格外亮，许多色彩缤纷的烟花在天空中闪亮着，有的时候好像还要把天笼照住似的，常常是这里炸开了，还没等落下就又升起了几个，然后再炸开、再升起……有的烟花以闪电般的速度，十个十个的往上蹿，在空中炸开，倾泻而下，好像在下一场美丽的流星雨，又好似一条大瀑布，还真有点“飞流直下三千尺”的感觉呢!我的心情格外爽朗，这真是“爆竹声声辞旧岁，家家户户迎新春”。

With the invention of the gunpowder, “firecracker” is also called “鞭炮biānpào” (“炮” in Chinese means gun) and used to foster a joyful atmosphere. The first thing every Chinese household does is to set off firecrackers and fireworks, which are meant to bid farewell to the old year and usher in the new. In the past few years, such an activity was completely or partially forbidden in big cities including Beijing due to fire and personal casualty caused by burning firecrackers. However, some Chinese thought that a Spring Festival without firecrackers was not lively enough and they burned firecrackers by stealth. So in recent years, the ban was canceled again. This shows that burning firecrackers is a very important activity during the Spring Festival.

Winter vacation is coming.Were happy to welcome the holidays.Usually,winter vacation is funny because Spring Festival is during the vacation.

Spring Festival is a excellent day for every Chinese,especially for children.During the festival,relatives go to visit each other and give presents to each other.then its the happy moment for children,children are given some lucky money.
