Thanksgiving Day

In the United States， the fourth Thursday in November is called Thanksgiving Day。 On that day， Americans give thanks for the blessings they have enjoyed during the year。Thanksgiving Day is usually a family day。 People always celebrate with big dinners and happy reunions。 Pumpkin pie and Indian pudding are traditional Thanksgiving desserts。 Relatives from other cities， students who have been away at school， and many other Americans travel a long distance to spend the holiday at home。

This is the first diary I’m writing in the youth summer camp.

Everything is new to me, new class, new teachers and new classmates. My

classmates are all good students and they can speak English well. I think I can

The teacher from china is full of emotion when giving a class. And her

每当夜深人静的时候，坐在书桌旁仰头闭目时，那段如流水的岁月便流散在我的脑海里，然而，那幕更让我心颤。

升入_年级，学习繁重，晚修的时间便挨到十一点。同学们会成群结队的回家，只有我的家是在那个方向，那个整条街都是黑夜的方向。每当在校门口，我心里就会浮现出孤独落寞的情感，就像毕业时的分道扬镳，各自往各自的方向走远，转过头，他们手牵手回家，只有我一个人，背影是如此的孤单。

我抱着一大叠书走在街道上，各自家的夜店一直开着，灯火阑珊，却怎么也照不亮我前方的路。偶尔会有唱歌的声音响起，有哪些让孩童听了会面红耳赤的话语，前面会有那么几个牵手走过。我低着头，眼光清明，忘不了妈妈的嘱咐，街上有许多拐卖孩子的贩人。所以我总是保持高度的警惕。走过那天萧然的街道，右拐便是通往家的方向，我心有余悸的朝那个方向看去，整条道上被黑夜笼罩着，不过还好月亮还在，可以为我照亮前方的路。望着那个圆圆的大月亮，心有那么一点勇敢，我深吸一口气，抱着书的手一紧，脚步重重的踏进那片黑夜。自由穿梭却不是在天空，而像是小说里的“魔幻森林”，那么让人毛骨悚然，稍不留意，就会坠入万丈深渊。我的心微微的颤抖，路过那个池塘，却不是朱自清所说的荷塘月色，而是让人毛骨悚然的黑夜。这似乎比前面更黑，更恐怖。月光的照耀下，因是污水，不不起反射的光很明显，更恐怖的是听同学们说的鬼故事，什么以前有个人死了，然后她的灵魂一直在这里，夜半会出来吓人。越想到这些，望向那片黑夜，就像魔鬼狰狞的面目，好像许多双无形的魔爪向我伸来，我的心跟着颤抖，也不知哪里来的力量，也百米短跑的速度奔向家门。

每个夜晚，回到家，我都擦擦冷汗，时间久了，经历也多了，便更勇敢了。浩浩荡荡地穿过那片黑夜，并不是发抖得向前跑，而是慢慢的欣赏自己之前所留下的脚印。

由于作文本身固有的难度和学生写作水平的个性差异等原因，不少学生经常会产生某些心理障碍，从而影响作文水平的提高。这些心理障碍大致有：自卑心理、畏惧心理、无所谓心理、速胜心理等。要针对其心理的不同特点，引导学生逐一消除。使学生真正理解：畏惧、自卑，大可不必;只要努力写作，全身心融入，又能注重运用以上巧妙方法，定会有长足进步;无所谓和自大，是一种盲目思想的表现，是一种错误思想的熟悉，作文是一种技能，多练就会进步;速胜心理是一种不切实际的急燥心理，作文是一种综合性较强的语言表达项目，写作水平的提高需要一个过程，更需要具备多方面和综合能力。

因此，作文水平的提高，不是一朝一夕挥之即成的问题，而是在长期的精读、多思、勤练相交融的潜移默化中实现的，只有巧妙地诱导学生，轻装上阵，身心融入，持之以恒地坚持一段较长时间的读练结合，学生作文水平才会快速提高。

从8月31日那天起，我就告别了生活了六年的母校、告别了授予我知识的老师、告别了儿时的玩伴与同学，成为了一名初中生。

走进初中的大门，首先入眼的是比读小学时要长200米的400米跑道，和绿茵茵的草坪;向左边走，看到宣传栏、光荣榜;继续向前走，就是4层的教学楼了;穿过教学楼，往后方前进，就会看见新建的排球场，再往左转，就是食堂了;最后，食堂后方可以看见一片宽阔的水泥平地，那就是篮球场了……

就是这样，大概用了半个多钟头，我才把这个有些陌生的校园游览完。它留给我的印象是：现代化的教学、完备的设施、上进的校风。

但，不知道自己新班级里的同学是怎样的?希望他们对人都很友好。

抱着这样的希望，就在下午，我便踏入了168班这个新的班级，看见了新同学、新老师、新教室。这里，有与我曾经是同学、也有仅是一面之交的同级同学、更有从不认识的新伙伴……

不管怎么样，大家脸上都洋溢着快乐的笑容，相互询问着，充满了对这新事物的好奇。

看到了活泼、积极的新同学，我又想见见新老师。不知道他们能不能把我们训练成最优秀的集体?

带着满腹疑问，在(9月1日)我看到了叫我们英语的新班主任——Mr。s Chen。她虽然是个女老师，可是却很严肃，对学生要求十分的严格。我相信，Mr。s

Chen 会把我们168班带领成为一个上进、守纪的优秀集体。

而我们的数学老师姚老师，一张方方正正的国字脸，穿得十分整洁，说话还很富有哲理，在他的教导下，我们会更加智慧。

最后，我们认识了语文汪老师，她是一位说话很温和，乐于与大家沟通的女老师。在她的感染下，大家知道了一个集体要友爱、团结、互助……

现在，我已经完完全全地走进初中，走进了一个新的学习阶段，有了比以往大很多的压力。但是，我想，初中并不是那种沉重的黑色，而是红色，活泼的红、新鲜的红、热烈的红!

book, the author Doctor Li introduces many methods to communicate with others

successfully and tells readers why everyone should be a polite person. My

favorite sentence in this book is “Everyone has potential, and everyone can

determine your own future by developing positive psychological, mastering

communication arts and showing your personality charm. In that way, you can have

a wonderful life!”

During whole sections, this book tells us human should live in a large

group, since people can’t solve all problems by their own. For that matter,

human beings should learn a series of manners to deal with any situation which

might happen wherever and whenever. After that, Doctor Li makes a point that

people need to realize how to resolve disagreements between friends, families or

colleagues. There always appears this kind of situation in social life, so it’s

important to understand how to settle it. Finally he teaches us that

communication techniques not only reflect in normal talk but also within body

languages.

In each part of the book, the author takes a large number of examples in

daily life to confirm his points. These examples in daily life are easy to

understand and accept.

After reading the book, I find many shortages of my communication skills. I

used to lack of patience when I talk to others, even got mad at them. This was

impolite and might destroy relationships between my friends and me. Therefore I

would try my best to improve myself and be welcome.

whole day just watching TV and eating junk food. Im not ashamed to admit these

I was so busy in the previous winter holiday for I am going to take the
