一.名词

写作中，学生们常把握不好名词的数、所有格以及一些集合名词的用法。

句中的a要去掉，因为advice是不可数名词。一些汉语概念为可数的词在英语中却是不可数的，表示数量时在要其前加apieceof，类似的词有：news,bread,work,paper,chalk,furniture,information等等。

可数名词单数不能孤零零地放在句子里，或前面加冠词，或将其变为复数。此处最好变为books.

3.Hewentintoabooksshopandboughtadictionary.

一般表示有生命的东西的名词的所有格用’s，如mymother’scar,而此处适宜用名词修饰名词，改为abookshop.

4.MyfamilyiswatchingTV.

一些集合名词如看成一个整体，则用单数的谓语动词，如Myfamilyisahappyone.如果强调集合中每个个体的个人行为，则用复数的谓语动词。此处看电视是个体行为，应把is改为are。类似的词有：team,class,audience等。

中学阶段，以“o”结尾的名词中有四个词变复数时要加es，它们是tomato,potato,Negro,hero;其余的都加s变为复数。

以f,fe结尾的词变为复数时一般去f,fe加ves，如knife—knives,

thief—thieves;而roof和belief直接加s变为复数。所以应把believes改为beliefs.

二.冠词

用a还是an，取决于后面单词音标中的第一个音，如为元音用an，为辅音用a。useful的第一个音是辅音所以应把an改为a。类似的，我们说aEuropeancountry.

plane为可数名词单数，不能单独放在句中，应在其前加冠词或把它变为复数，而本句后有amachine,因此只能在其前面加a，变为Aplane。

在in后加the，因为表示年代用in加the再加几十的复数，如在八十年代inthe80s。

三.代词

使用代词时请注意其单、复数，主、宾格以及形容词性物主代词和名词性物主代词的用法。

her是形容词性物主代词，后面应该加名词books，或把her改为hers。

四.数词

hundred/thousand/million/score/dozen等词前有具体数字时后不加s，前面没有具体数字时在其后加s和of，表示大约几百几千的概念。如two

hundredstudents（两百个学生），hundredsofstudents（成百上千个学生）。例句中应把hundreds改为hundred。

17.Theirschoolistwiceaslargerasourschool.

表倍数关系的as...as中间只能用形容词或副词的原级。因此应把larger改为large.

18.Today’shomeworkisafive-hundred-wordscomposition.

几个单词由连字符连接而组成的复合形容词中的名词只能用单数，所以把five-hundred-words改为five-hundred-word.

英语表达中分数的分子用基数词，分母用序数词，分子大于一时分母后要加s，所以就把third改为thirds.

五.形容词和副词

形容词和副词容易被误用，形容词和副词的比较级和最高级也是应注意的重点。

appear在此是个系动词，其后应接形容词作表语。所以应把nervously改为nervous.

这个词组为wouldratherdo?thando?，因此把went改为go.

修饰anything,something,everything,nothing的形容词都要放在它们的后面。

I’m going to have a busy weekend! On Saturday, I’m going visit my friends by bike. Because I haven’t seen them for a long time. Then, I’m going to the bookstore on foot. I’m going to read lots of books there. On Sunday morning, I’m going to go for a walk. Then, in the afternoon, I’m going to go shopping with my mother. Then, in the evening, we are going to watch TV together. That will be fun! What about you? What are you going to do on the weekend?

Environmental problems are becoming more and more serious all over the world.With the development of industry and agriculture,cars make great noises and give off poisonous gas.Trees on the hills have been cut down,and waste water is being poured continuously into rivers.Furthermore,wherever we go today,we can find rubbish carelessly disposed.The whole ecological balance of the earth is changing.Massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and even poses a great threat to mans existence.

Control Environmental Pollution

Today, as the development of the technology, people live a much better life than before, the average wage is promoted highly. The economy develops at the cost of polluting the environment, we can see the pollution everywhere, like the river water is dirty, the situation is so serious that we must take some action to control the environmental pollution. First, we should not throw away the rubbish, whenever we have rubbish at hand, we should keep the habit to throw it into the dustbin, sometimes the garbage can be recycled. Second, the government should make some measure to punish the industry which is not deal with the pollution well. With the government’s intervention, the businessmen will pay special attention to the pollution and dare not to ignore it. 大家在学校里十分注意卫生，地面一片纸屑、一块果皮、一个废瓶罐都随手捡起，并分类处理，这多好啊!

可在校外，大家都变了个样。吃不完的东西随地乱扔。乘公交车时，一边吃零食，一边往外扔包装袋。什么纸碗啦、饮料瓶啦，还有果皮瓜子壳啊，想扔就扔。公交车开过，留下一道垃圾风景线。

再说说咱们的沿河路公园吧。那里本来绿树成荫，鸟语花香。如今，老远就闻到一股怪味。走近一看，河面上漂着一些垃圾袋、方便碗，还有许多叫不出名字的垃圾，河水怎么不变臭啊!更让人无法想象的是，有人把河边栏杆上的铁链故意弄断了，那多危险!小孩走路还摇、要多留心点。

沿江公园也是散步的好地方，可是江坡边常有牛儿自由地在那里吃草，随地大小便，引来许多的苍蝇和臭虫，真恶心。大家走累了，想休息一会儿，可路边四条腿的石条凳变成三条腿，东倒西歪的，好点儿的凳上有垃圾，叫人怎么坐啊?

还有个不美的地方，就是一些校广告到处贴，连电线杆上，人行道上都用五颜六色的油漆刷出广告人的联系电话，看着就不顺眼。这些被人们称作“城市牛皮癣”的现象，谁来治一治啊!

到街上随便转一转，就看到太多不美的地方，这都是大家不自觉造成的。奥运会就要来临了，要是大家还不注意环境，就要被外国朋友取笑了。

环境保护靠大家，我们一定要从自己做起，人人动手来保护我们的家园。
