The 15-Day Celebration of Chinese New Year

去年冬天，冰天雪地，气候寒冷，学校组织了冬季长跑活动，我们每天在课间操的时间内进行长跑。同学们迈着稳健的步伐，一股股白烟从大家的口中呼出，“一二一、一二一”整齐的口号在校园的空中回荡，一声声整齐的脚步声踏在坚硬的跑道上，发出“咚咚咚”的响声，虽然气温已经降到了零下，但是大家的脸红扑扑的，丝毫没有感觉到冷。无论周围的温度多么地寒冷，可是跑步却使我们保持着一颗火热的心，这颗火热的心，在寒冷的环境中散发出火红的灿烂光芒！以至于在整个冬天我们都没有感到特别寒冷，我想这就是学校的这个活动带给我们的无限益处。

今年过年回老家，不少亲戚朋友都说我长高了不少，有的人说我今年比去年又长高了不少。妈妈说这就是我经常锻炼的功劳。没错，过去的这一学期我确实是经常锻炼：每天中午都和同学们一起打篮球，每周五下午还要打球打到天黑，周日下午也要打一下午的球，平均每天都会玩一个半小时的篮球。篮球是一种竞技性很高的体育项目，要跳、跑，对各项身体素质要求也很高，起到了很好的锻炼作用，也许，这就是我的个子比一年前长高的不少的原因之一吧。

运动能增加人体的免疫力，提高身体素质。体育精神高尚，能增强面对困难的勇气，也能增强意志；体育不单单是纯属体力的竞技，对智慧的要求也非常高，多多锻炼还能促进大脑的发育，避免脑供血不足的症状，因此，多多运动还会增长智慧。记得奥运圣火的发源地古希腊有这样一句格言：如果你想聪明，跑步吧；如果你想强壮，跑步吧；如果你想健美，跑步吧！

体育是跃动的音符，体育是舞动的旋律，体育是运动的艺术。青少年的健康是国家的财富，更是每一个人健康成长和实现幸福生活的根基。有了健康的体魄，才能为祖国和人民做出更大贡献，拥有更加幸福的生活。“每天锻炼一小时，健康工作五十年，幸福生活一辈子”的理念人人知晓，并深入人心。来吧，亲爱的同学们，让我们走到操场上来，走到阳光中去，呼吸清新的空气，沐浴和煦的春光，踊跃参加丰富多彩的体育活动，在运动中领略体育的魅力，感受体育的美丽，体会运动的快乐。为了健康，为了未来，让我们积极行动起来，满怀激-情地投入到体育运动中去吧！

我知道老师对于我有着很大的期望，可是我还是没有考好。对于这点我感到十分抱歉。但是既然犯了错误就要改正，所以，通过考试我也想了很多以后一定要学习的东西。 首先我要改掉考试不细心读题目的坏习惯。有时候我往往看着题目前面就顺手把后面的问题写上了，但是却错了很多。这也许也和答题技巧有关系。总之，通过以后的练习，我一定要在考试的过程之中认真审题，自习读题，把题目看准、看好。时间允许的时候要多检查几遍，绝对不允许自己再犯类似于这样的无谓的错误。

Learning English just like learning any other language, is hard work so my first advice is to spend much time practicing using English every day. Besides, we should listen to the teacher and take notes carefully in class. Go over what is learnt regularly and finish doing our homework carefully. Listen to English radio programmes, read English stories and newspapers, watch English films and TV programmes ,keep a diary in English and attend English debbates and speech contests. If we make mistakes, correct them at once and try not to make the same mistakes. Whats more, we should look up new words in the dictionary before class and prepare each lesson carefully before class. I believe if we work hard and have good ways of learning English, we will learn English well.
