Turpan is located in a depression with the area of more than 1000 square kilometers of the eastern part of Xinjiang and some 80 meters below the sea level. In fact， the city proper itself is one that is surrounded or covered by grapevines. Many streets themselves are vineyards or trellises with grapevines， together with the fruit stands the whole city is a mixture of the fruit orchard and market， since 1990， the Grape festival held in the city becomes a great attraction not only to business people， but people from all over the world.

It is often believed, that competition and cooperation are in opposition to each other. Some people stress competition, without which, in their eyes, there is no responsibility, no drive and ultimately, no progress. Others advocate cooperation whatever they do. They are of the opinion that the dependence of people on one another has increased, without which the society we live in can not keep going smoothly. In reality, we find that in many cases competition goes hand in hand with cooperation. Lets take a football game for example. During the game, one team is competing against the other, but each member of the team must cooperate with his teammates. Otherwise, they would lose the game no matter how skillful each individual player might be. It is clear that competition has much to do with cooperation.
As far as Im concerned, I do not agree with the view that competition and cooperation are always in conflict with each other. In my opinion, while advocating competition, we should never forget cooperation. In our social life, cooperation is especially necessary because most work is fulfilled with or through other people. 篇17：英语考试

+ 加入清单这次英语考试可是全国统考，说真的考试前我还是有些紧张，但是我一想到有老师和家长在默默支持我，我就一点也不紧张了，反而很有信心。
当主考官叫到我的名字时我非常高兴，因为我盼望已久的考试终于到来了。在考口试的时候我有很多单词没有学过，可是我还是一一的把它给拼读了出来，最后还是有两个单词没有拼出来。在抽签的时候我抽到了一首非常简单的歌，但是老师给我考了一首难的，我唱完后老师说我唱得非常好。
第二天我去考笔试，那些题一点也不难，考试规定的是两个小时，我却只用了二十分钟，是全校最快的一个学生，而且我还检查了几遍，我深信，我一定能取得好成绩。我心想，我能有这样的成绩，全靠大舅对我严格要求，还有我自己的努力。这次我最该感谢的是我的大舅，因为没有他我怎么可能有这么好的成绩，没有他的督促，没有他的严格要求，没有他的教训，我是不可能考得好的，我多么想亲自对大舅说一声谢谢啊。
我今后一定要少让大舅担心，自己好好的学习，好好的努力，一定要自觉学习，不要大舅督促，不要他叫我学我们才学，我不是为大舅而学。
这次的英语考试既有意义又有趣。我以后一定要多参加这一类的活动。
篇18：英语期中考试反思

+ 加入清单这次英语期中考试我没有考好，没有达到期中考试前制定的目标。我知道父母和老师对于我有着很大的期望，可是我还是没有考好。对于这点我感到十分抱歉。但是既然犯了错误就要改正，所以，通过考试我也想了很多。我知道期中考是一面清澈的镜子，在它面前，我羞愧地低下了头。仔细看看试卷发现竟然错了很多不该错的地方。我的基础知识部分扣了很多分，主要是单词掌握不好。阅读题扣了8分，说明我的阅读量不够，我的阅读速度慢影响了做后面的题，思考的时间少了。老师狠狠地批评了我。我的这次英语作文只得了8分，这与我的词汇量不够，阅读积累不够有很大的关系，分析原因，主要是课前没有做好预习，课堂上没有积极的举手发言，课后不认真复习，把写作业当成一种完成任务。
于是，在期中考的时候，我得到了我应有的“报应”。 经过我的仔细反思，有这样的结果是我 在做作业时，囫囵吞枣，没有仔细审题，认真做题，这让我失去了一次特别好的自我提高的机会。我应该把写作业当成一个新的开始，而不是上一段学习的结束，每一次的作业都要当做一次小的考试。我要增加一些仿写和阅读的练习。在今后的学习中，我在课堂上要积极回答问题做好笔记，多记一些老师拓展的知识点，每天回家要复习一遍老师讲的内容，认真完成一篇阅读与完形填空，我有上进心想去学更多的英语知识，自己努力，超越自己，比别的同学更好。

The skiers can enjoy the thrill of gliding at tremendous speed down a gleaming,white mountain slope. Often, with split second tinting, they must dodge trees, stumps, and rocks——or find themselves suddenly sprawling in the snow. If they have more than average skill, they can sall through the air in breathtaking leaps and jumps that bring excitement to the onlookers as well. True, there is danger in this excitement,but that is a risk the youth enjoys. Furthermore, skiing is healthful.
It provides exercise, often very strenuous as the skiers trudge up a mountain path or work their way on skis up a slope of deep snow. The best of skiers know that they need strong muscles to successfully control their skis, so they exercise to keep themselves physically fit. Another desirable feature is the companionship that usually develops wherever skiers gather. Friendships grow quickly on the slopes and in the usual nearby shelter where the skiers find food, warmth, and rest. Their experiences of the day and their youthfulness easily draw these people together in happy fellowship.

曾经是如此惊诧于叶落的壮美，感怀于那极致的美丽。枝杈与土地仅有几米的距离，然而叶儿毅然挣脱，任风翻飞，它飞旋：任车将它压得粉碎，它依然高歌，向着根的方向飞旋着动容的美丽。我问落叶，落叶不语，那该是由内散发的情愫，慢慢体会。
