I am terribly sorry to tell you that I am unable to attend your birthday

part next Thursday evening. That is owing to the fact that my younger brother

suddenly fell ill and was taken to a hospital this morning. I have to go there

immediately and take care of him. As told by the doctor in charge, it will take

around five days for him to recover and I have asked my boss for a leave.

I really regret that I cannot go to celebrate your birthday personally and

would miss the perfect chance of enjoying myself with all our old friends. I

have chosen a small gift for you and will send it to you tomorrow to show my

best wishes. Besides, please give my regards to our friends when you meet them

at the party.

九月的到来，意味着暑假的终结，高中的开始，同时也是军训的开始。早上的开学典礼结束后，还没来得及喘口气，教官就给了我们一个下马威。

“立正!停了就不要动了!”“手给我贴紧!”“身体前倾!两肩后张!”同学们认真地执行着教官的命令，站的笔直，心里却在偷偷的叫苦连天。我们时时刻刻身心备受煎熬，不仅要接受上天“恩赐”的日光浴，更要担心军姿不标准而被教官呵责。前几分钟还好，我还满不在乎，原来站军姿也就这样，没什么难度的嘛。

随着时间一点点推移，我开始站不住了。额头大滴大滴的汗珠直往外冒，大地通过鞋底把炽热的温度传到脚心，脚掌冒了火似得。其实这也还没什么，要命的是汗珠划过留下的痕迹痒痒的，我却不敢随便动，一直隐忍着，苦不堪言。这军姿是要站到什么时候啊!

不知过了多久，站到脚都麻木了，才听到教官的大赦令，我们都如释重负，大大呼出了一口气。这种感觉就好比一个缺水的人在沙漠中发现了一泓清泉。

小小地休息了一会，我们继续训练下一个项目。我还对刚才的烈日心有余悸，它怎么就不下雨呢!大概老天也看不下去了，不忍心我们继续受苦，空中突降小雨，晃晃悠悠地荡下来。同学们欣喜若狂，都用乞求的目光看着教官，谁知教官丝毫不为所动，威严地说：“继续，我陪你们一起淋。”我们的希望泡汤，只好认命乖乖训练。

那雨却不安分了，愈演愈烈，不多时便成了倾盆大雨。教官犹豫着，直到主教官的哨声响起，我们才得以解放。同学们一窝蜂地跑向教学楼，结果还没跑出几步，大雨骤然而止，太阳公公紧接着蹦出来。同学们还没搞清楚什么状况，就听见教官大喊集合。至今我都不明白，我们怎么惹着哪路大神了，为什么不让雨再多下一分钟呢，哪怕再多半分钟也好啊!

I will be at grade two of middle school this term, I have a new plan. I

want to start running after school. I am not very tall, I want to do the

exercise to grow tall. I plan to run two rounds of the runway on the playground

Saturday， my grandma made dumplings， one of the dumplings like obedient

little ducks swimming in the bowl。 My in the mind have a little not to eat them。

星期六我奶奶家包饺子了，一个个的饺子像听话的小鸭子在碗里游来游去。我心里有点不忍心吃他们了。但是那扑鼻而来的香味又让我馋得流口水，我就大口大口地吃了起来。但是我吃完饺子，心里有一种说不出来的感觉。

“倒功准备，开始!”几乎整整一个早上，操场上都回荡着马教官洪亮有力的命令声。大家在教官的指导下，做了一系列动作：右拳击左掌，蹲马步，左右出拳。接着，马教官大喝一声“倒!”全班44人都倒下了，只有一个女生还坐着。

教官看着她，向她走来。女生神色慌张，努力地躲着教官的目光。她扭扭捏捏的看了看教官，豆大的汗珠划过她的脸颊。“报……报告教官，地上有水，我，我趴不下来……”她支支吾吾地说道。的确，昨天的一场大雨使坑坑洼洼的地方积了很多水。在平时，我们连踩都不会踩一下，更何况是趴呢?但教官说的对，来到这儿就是吃苦的，我们要收敛收敛在家里的公主少爷的脾气。在教官的喝斥后，女生咬了咬牙，慢慢地趴下来，与其他同学对齐。

然后，大家进行了第二次卧倒，虽然每个人都趴在了地上，可动作有前有后，趴在地上也参差不齐。没办法，第三次!第四次……我快速调整好位置，在教官一阵短促有力的命令后，我毅然倒下。太阳像火一样烤着大家的脸颊，但没有教官的命令，我们都得像稻草人一样一动不动。即使再热再痛，我们也要坚持住!

军训场上……

一声“稍息”口令，展现了我们崭新的精神风貌;十分钟的警姿，磨练了我们坚强的意志品质;一首《团结就是力量》，将我们带入了寓教于乐的军训活动的高潮。

从没有机会一睹如此优秀的武警官兵们的风采，更没有机会身先士卒，体验军人生活的艰辛。学校组织的军训给了我们这样的一个机会，不祈求军训过的人将来能为国防事业做出贡献，但至少给自己的人生添加绚烂的一笔!

军训虽过了五天，但我们还有很多个训练日，我们要继续保持优良作风，改掉不良风气，争做全新的自我。

时间流逝，半天也就照样过去!晚上，我们继续加油!

来到晚上了，站军姿是首件事。然而在站军姿过后，出现了让我们喜悦的事。

我们排好队列，看着我们的教官练习，那个叫整齐也叫铿锵有力啊!他们真不愧为铁骨铮铮的军人，热烈鼓掌声响彻师院上空。

接着的便来了个有影响力的，二连的连长来教训了我们一通，也说对了啦，我们都做不来有什么资格笑别人。他又用军人纪律教育了我们一番，我们只能听从命令。

接下来又是队列训练了一段时间，起步走，一直训练着。等着训练结束，我们呢，又是席地而歌了。

今天，他竟然让我们一列列的唱了，真有新花招!不过我们照旧唱得激情昂扬，让我们仍很兴奋，感觉先前的训练都不为足道。

最后，我们唱歌累的时候，他来和我们说了该如何拉歌，听得我们更加激动了!真想立刻去拉歌，可是时间有限，只能等到明天了。希望我们明天的拉歌取得巨大胜利!

Since I was a little child, I had a dream that I wanted to be a doctor.

When I was little, I watched many TV series and movies about doctors. I thought

they were so great. Therefore, I made up my mind to be a doctor. In my opinion,

doctor is the people who can help patience get out of sickness and pain.I want

to be the person who can help others. However, being a doctor needs so much

professional knowledge and there is a long way to go. So I have to try my best

on my study and go to a good college.

“你!出列，做五十个俯卧撑!”我被教官惊天地、泣鬼神的吼声吓了一跳。只见一个身影走到前面，趴在地上。“谁让你动的?再有人动，就罚五十个俯卧撑。”又是那地动山摇的吼声。“报告!”有人忍不住了，出列休息。我看着诱人的树荫，也想喊出报告两字，但有一个声音对我说不能!绝对不能当逃兵!

不远处终于传来了解救的哨声，终于休息了，我瘫在地上，却又突然跳起――地下太热了。

军训，就是如此。

昨天我在街上悠闲地散步。

今天，我练枯燥的正步走。

昨天，我等待着家人叫我吃饭。

今天，我期待着立刻步入饭堂，却要走好正步。

巨大的反差告诉我：痛苦是军训唯一的解释，只有经历过痛苦的炼狱，才可能体味到达天堂的幸福!

今天是军训的第一天，全班同学都很高兴，我也不例外。一大早就兴冲冲地“蹦”进了学校，高高兴兴地向老师喊了一声：“老师好！”到班里，很多同学都带着激动的心情谈着。身旁大大小小的背包不计其数，小袋大袋也很多。我把背包放下，就到走廊去玩了。要军训五天，能不高兴吗？

During the National Holiday, I went travelling with my friend Li Ming in a

tour group. We went to Wuxi, Jiangsu and had a great time there.There were

fifteen people in our tour group. Mr. Li, our tour guide, left a deep impression

on us with his sense of humour. On the first day, we visited a tourist

attaction, which was in many great movies and TV shows. On the second day, we

went boating on the Tai Hu Lake, where we were amazed at the beautiful scenaries

there. We had such a good time that we even didn。

July 10

I am planning to spend my summer holiday on sports this year. Playing

basketball is always my favourite, so some of my classmates and I will form a
