历史的长河总是在奔流，余存下来的都是宝贵的结晶，光芒万丈

记得那时秋高气爽，经过十几个小时的奔波，我回到了老家。夕阳之下，我在家门口站定，新的楼房在我面前耸立着，这是前几年搭好的新房，门前的空地，被阳光照得金光闪闪，像洒满了金箔，一副精气满满的样子。“姐!”一个女孩打开门，扑向我，“站着干嘛，走啊!”她拿走我手中提的东西，和我并肩走进门。这是我堂妹，小我两岁，从我记事起，每次回老家，这“小尾巴”就爱跟在我后面。窗外的阳光洒到地上，照到她脸上，我突然发现，这小女孩好像长高了许多，不是那个胖胖矮矮肉嘟嘟的“小尾巴”了。“走走走，上楼。然后下来吃晚饭。”堂妹的嘴好像没停过似的，在她的不间断的“叨叨唠唠”中，我度过了这小半天。

慢慢悠悠地走到土楼，清晨的阳光照在这斑驳又充满裂纹皱纹的高大土楼上。这土楼说大不大，但年代已久，想到以前，我们在这土楼旁边做游戏，在上面写字，画画。黄色的土都是回忆中的故土。走近看，似乎在哪里都能找到童年的影子。父亲曾经说过：“我们客家人啊，曾经搬迁奔波了很久，最终几支家族分开了，我们这一支来到广东，仍然留着建土楼的习俗，这栋土楼，也是我童年的回忆。”绕着土楼慢慢地走，“嗯?这里塌了?”我有些惊诧，更多还是遗憾。“对呀，太可惜了我前段时间的台风刮的。”堂妹回答。土黄色的土楼“遗骨”倒在一旁，金色的阳光轻轻地抚摸着，似乎想将其复原。可逝去的一切不可恢复，时光也一去不复返，这真是“物是人非”啊!我不禁感叹道。

there are two legends which claim to explain the tradition of eating mooncakes. one tang dynasty myth holds that the earth once had 10 suns circling it. one day all 10 suns appeared at once，scorching the planet with their heat. it was thanks to a skillful archer named hou yi that the earth was saved. he shot down all but one of the suns. as his reward，the heavenly queen mother gave hou yi the elixir of immortality，but she warned him that he must use it wisely. hou yi ignored her advice and，corrupted by fame and fortune，became a tyrannical leader. chang-er，his beautiful wife， could no longer stand by and watch him abuse his power so she stole his elixir and fled to the moon to escape his angry wrath. and thus began the legend of the beautiful woman in the moon，the moon fairy.

the second legend has it that during the yuan dynasty，an underground group led by zhu yuan zang was determined to rid the country of mongolian dominance. the moon cake was created to carry a secret message. when the cake was opened and the message read，an uprising was unleashed which successfully routed the mongolians. it happened at the time of the full moon，which，some say，explains why mooncakes are eaten at this time. mooncakes are usually stamped with chinese characters indicating the name of the **ry and the type of filling used. some **ries will even stamp them with your family name so that you can give personalised ones to friends and family. they are usually presented in boxes of four which indicate the four phases of the moon. traditional mooncakes are made with melted lard，but today vegetable oil is more often used in the interests of health. mooncakes are not for the diet-conscious as they are loaded with calories. the best way to wash down one of these sticky cakes is with a cup of chinese tea，especially jasmine or chrysanthemum tea，which aids the digestion.

How To Be A Happy Kid

Good morning, dear judges!

My name is Joyce. Today I will give a speech about How To Be A Happy Kid.

Everyone deserves to have a happy childhood. We all know, life isn’t

easy all the time, even for children.

One time I didn’t do well on a math test. It was the first time for me

to get such a low mark. I felt miserable about it. When I got home, without

saying a single word to my parents, I rushed into my own room. I sat down

in front of my piano. Unconsciously, music came out from my fingers. I was

lost in the beauty of the music. My heart flew with the song in the air. The

piano music was just like a wise old man consoling me with soft words. After

playing the music, I felt very calm and happy.

We shouldn’t lack for joy in life. The key is to find ways

Last year, my father bought a lovely pet for me. She has four white paws

and a white and yellow tail. She has two small ears, two green eyes and eight

whiskers on her face. Her name is Sally and she is one year old.

Do you know what it is? A cat? Yes, it is a cat. She has very short fur and

she is quite small. She weighs about 2 kilograms. She is usually very friendly

and quiet. We never frighten her or pull her tail or ears. She likes walking

around me and playing with me.

If she is hungry, she will miaow. Usually, she eats food from a tin, but

her favorite food is fish. She likes juice if it is not too cold. She likes to

chase and catch mice and sometimes she plays with butterflies. Sally often plays

Sally is a very good friend, but she is quite lazy! She never worries

online。 It has become a fashion in our daily life。 Some of us students also join

Shopping online has many advantages. Just by a click of the mouse， you can

buy what you’re interested in without going outdoors。 You can avoid getting

Whenever I remember my grade school days, I tend to be wistful over. Though no more are those days, I will never forget now wonderful they were. I was efree in my school days and all the year round I lived happily. I was not a hardworking pupil. Every day I directed my attention not to study but to how to out to how to cut classes and class leader as I was. I did not act like one; instead, I even encouraged others to cut classes, too. of course. I was caught out and severely punished. Often in preparing for a test we pupils would work together to devise ways of cheating in the test room. Though I was poor at cheating in any test. I never gave up but would again and again, hoping t way I would get high marks. With the passage of time I have gradually cast off those bad habits I once had always feel embarrassed each time I think of my foolish behavior in 1the past, I owe what I am to all my teachers. Had it not been for them, I would not be a useful member of society as I am today, My grade school days not only added to my experience as a boy but give me now something lasting to remember by. December 25 is holiday, Christmas in the west. Although is a western festival, but the children of the east followed.

I get up early in the morning to go to school, day not bright, but is the traffic in the streets. The lights in the shop is gorgeous, the staff have taken red, lovely Christmas hat.
