Broad interest does not make me perfect in each specific area due to the insufficient knowledge and practice, so I think further study is definitely important for me to realize self-value.

The major I expected is IC design. I found that integrated circuits plays a more and more important role in modern society. For example, with the recognition by the government, the domestic integrated circuits industry is growing rapidly and that may provide a great amount of chances for us.

I plan to focus my research in this field in the graduate time. And I hope I can have a systematic view of micro electronics and IC design technology and making a solid foundation for future profession after three years study here.

These has been an unforgetable three years of our lives. Looking back on the first day that we came to the school, it is so vivid which feels like it just happened. Now we at the point to be apart from one another, I understand we are here to celebrate the graduation for our achievements here, however I cant help to feel sad at the same time because many of us will have very little of chances to see each other anymore, we will no longer have our great teachers there to lecture us about life and other things anymore. Nevertheless, I congrate all of us to have successfully graduated from this school and wish all of us to have better journeys in the future.

Last week, I finished my middle school life and I would be in high school soon. I had my graduation ceremony. My parents came to my school and joined the ceremony. I was very happy, I took many pictures with my friends. I felt like I was growing up, I became more mature and I would be a high school student soon. In the graduation ceremony, my friends and I sang a song, we thought about the things happened during the three years and realized our friendship was so deep. We made the promised that we would keep our friendship forever. I am so excited about my future life, I think I can handle it well.

说实话，在接到这个邀请的时候，我有点小激动，更多的是荣幸。因为我从来没有参加过任何一所高中的毕业典礼，这真的是我人生第一次来参加高中毕业典礼，收获特别大。我想，高中这三年，几乎是每一个人最难忘的三年，尤其对中国学生来说，所以刚才那个掌声不断的同学讲得特别好。其实高中这三年除了很多美好的记忆，我相信此时此刻，你们想的一定是：我们终于毕业了、解放了!所以我首先要表达的是对所有同学的祝贺，祝你们毕业快乐，祝你们未来前程似锦!

在这个关键的时间点，其实我花了很长时间去想，我能跟大家分享一点什么呢?我仔细想了想自己人生过去的40多年，想来想去，我觉得最重要的是这么一件事情。25年前，我高中毕业进入大学。因为我特别特别喜欢看书，所以刚一上大学我有很多时间都待在图书馆里。无意之中看了一本书叫《硅谷之火》，大概一两块人民币的书。那本书就是讲的乔布斯在硅谷的创业故事。看完这本书以后，我激动得三天三夜没有睡好觉。在那三天三夜的很多时间里，我都待在我们武汉大学的体育场，绕着校园一遍一遍地走，我想，我此生一定要做一个不同寻常的人。有了这个目标以后，我在想，我得从一个眼前的目标开始做起。所以，我在大学定下的第一个目标是：2年内修完4年的所有课程。我想和大家分享的是，我真的做到了。其实这件事的背后我不是想说梦想有多重要或《硅谷之火》这本书有多重要。我是想说，爱看书、喜欢看书是大家一辈子最重要、最重要的习惯。我有很多朋友在度过了艰难的高中三年上大学后发誓不再看书，觉得太累了。我不太了解ICC同学们的学习压力，所以我不知道大家对看书有多厌恶，包括写作业、考试。但我真心地认为，喜欢读书是一辈子最重要的习惯。

作为一个史蒂芬·乔布斯的铁杆粉丝，我想再分享一个关于他的小故事。史蒂芬·乔布斯大学一年级在干什么呢?他想让自己的英文字写得更漂亮些，于是他选修了一门莫名其妙的课，叫英文字体。你们知道他这个莫名其妙的小兴趣给整个人类带来了什么影响吗?我们在场的每一个人都应该感谢他这个莫名其妙的小兴趣。因为30年前的电脑显示的字体就像我们今天电子表上显示的点阵字体，看起来很有科技感，看久了真的是丑得不行。所以乔布斯在做APPLE电脑时说，我们一定要把字体做好看，真的不能做成点阵字。他下了很大功夫，把电脑上那些很难看的点阵字体变成了你们今天所看到的非常漂亮的、五颜六色的、多姿多彩的上百种字体。所以，如果你们上了大学以后，如果觉得无聊，可以选择一些莫名其妙的兴趣，也许你们会得到一些莫名其妙的结果。上了大学以后你们一定能深刻地理解到，考试成绩真的不是第一位。所以，你们有空的话，不妨多看看书，多学点莫名其妙的东西。
