Today was Sunday, I was so happy because our family had a big meeting, we went to the park to have the barbecue. We called our relatives to join us, it was such a great party. As the family members haven’t got together for a long time, so my father decided to get everybody united. 叶圣陶（1894-1988）我国现代著名作家、教育家、出版家、社会活动家，中央文史研究馆馆长。原名叶绍钧，江苏苏州人。他编过《小说月报》和《中学生》等刊物，1921年，他与沈雁冰、郑振铎等组织“文学研究会”，其主要作品有长篇小说《倪焕之》，这是中国现代文学史上最早出版的长篇小说之一。童话集有《稻草人》《古代英雄的石像》，散文集有《小记十篇》。

曲波（1923- ）现代作家。山东蓬莱人。1957年出版了其代表作长篇小说《林海雪原》。其后又创作长篇小说《山呼海啸》等。

贺敬之（1924- ）现作诗人、剧作家，山东峄县人。1942年，他和丁毅执笔集体创作的我国每一部新歌剧《白毛女》获1951年斯大林文学奖金。建国后，写了《回延安》《放声歌唱》《西去列车的窗口》等有名的诗篇。

袁鹰 现代散文家，原名田仲洛，江苏淮安人。代表作有散文集《风帆》《井冈散记》。

茹志鹃（1925- ）现代女作家，曾用笔名阿如、初旭，祖籍浙江省杭州市，生于上海。其代表作有短篇小说《百合花》《静静的产院》《剪辑错了的故事》，其中《剪辑错了的故事》荣获1979年全国优秀短篇小说创作奖。

王愿坚（1929- ）现代作家。以善于描写革命历史题材著称，山东诸城人。他的第一个短篇小说是《党费》。其代表作还有短篇小说《七根火柴》《普通劳动者》。1974年与陆柱国合作编写电影剧本《闪闪的红星》，深受读者欢迎。

唐弢（1913-1992）现代著名作家、鲁迅研究家。原名唐端毅，浙江镇海人。1933年起，在鲁迅影响下，从事杂文写作，1938年，参加了《鲁迅全集》校编工作。代表作有《唐弢杂文选》，散文诗集《落帆集》，论文集《向鲁迅学习》。

As a Senior Grade Three students, I am very busy in preparing for the college entrance examination. I have seven classes a day, and two self-study classes at night. 我们宿舍里每个晚上都有蟑螂、飞虫之类小虫子飞进来，我们都又怕又不知怎么办，只好呆呆地坐着。幸好宿舍里有两个高二的姐姐保护我们，否则我们不知该如何是好。晚上虽然有点热，但是感觉很新鲜，很快便入睡。

我们在这里天天都要上课。从宿舍走到教学楼需要一个钟头。而我们每天要走3个来回，所以想减肥的人来参加这个夏令营一定能减肥成功!我们上课是外教和一个助教上的。上课的形式很灵活，一会儿玩游戏，一会儿单词接龙，一会儿听老师讲故事。我们上课也很随便，外教不会要你坐得整整齐齐，我们喜欢干嘛就干嘛，可以到处乱走，可以下位同其他同学进行英语交流。因为外教喜欢自由，所以也让我们自由。

在这里，我认识了许许多多的朋友，同她们在生活上互帮互助，一起学习，一起聊天。每当我无聊时，她们便会讲笑话给我听;每当我作业不会做时，她们便会一题一题地讲解给我听，直到我会为止;每当我生活上遇到困难时，她们会尽自己最大的力量帮助我;每当我伤心时，她们会安慰我;同她们在一起，我觉得时间过得飞快，觉得十分开心!

在这里十分辛苦，要自己洗衣服、晾衣服，还有许许多多的事情需要自己做主。晚上，洗完澡后，便要自己将衣服洗干净。洗衣服非常辛苦，有时怎么搓都搓不干净，直到搓得双手红通通的，才搓干净一小部分。好不容易搓干净了，接下来是扭干衣服。衣服很重，我费了很大的劲才扭干，此时我已经累得气喘吁吁了。但是还要将衣服晾上去，晾衣服的那根竹竿太高了，我又太矮了。所以我只好请宿舍里的两个高二的姐姐帮忙。

我们每天上午就上课，下午就搞活动。下午的活动丰富多彩，有时候看外教跳舞;有时候爬山;有时候到图书馆看书;有时候上网;女外教们跳舞都很厉害，有时候还玩杂技，非常精彩!晚上，我们不是上课就是看电影——小鬼当家。小鬼当家这部电影很好看，是一部教育片。在场的同学常常看的哈哈大笑，现场也常常发出热烈的掌声。

时间过得飞快，转眼间12天已经过去了。舍不得同老师分离;舍不得同朋友分离;舍不得离开美丽的中山大学;但是，舍不得也要舍得。每当想到快乐的夏令营时，我会觉得很开心，那里是我和朋友们第一次认识的地方，在那里，藏着我们多少欢声笑语……

The gap of teaching system between China and America is big.Chinese students always complain about their homework.Too much homework has limited the time to exercise and relax.They have to recite many things as to get a high mark.Homework comes the first to them.

In my opinion,the study in America is more interesting .Teachers pay attentions to training students skills in thinking in realastic life not to emphasis on the importances of memories.In a addition,the rate of going to school ,the salary of teaching ,and the job of gruduates are quite different,too.I should say that Chima government should make great efforts to improve its teaching syetem.I am also expect to be one day ,the West give more cheers to our country.
