Last May 4th was my birthday.I had a party at my home.

My relatives and friends came to my home in the evening.And I got a lot of presents from them.My mother prepared a big birthday cake for me.

Christmas Day is very popular around the world, when that day comes, we can

see the Christmas products sell everywhere, though Christmas Day is not

originating from China, in our country, more and more people spend that day. A

foreigner pointed out that Christmas meant to be grateful for them, while for

Chinese people, it was just a day for celebrating. To me, Christmas indeed means

a day to have fun.

When I was small, I did not have the concept of Christmas, because in my

mind, I only knew Chinese traditional festivals, I liked Spring Festival best, I

could get a lot of money from parents. When I went to high school, all of my

friends would talk about Christmas Day when the day was near, so I started to

know it. Almost every young people like Christmas, but if you ask them what the

meaning of the day, less of them can answer.

The meaning of Christmas Day is to remind people of Jesus’s birth, it is so

important for the western people, but for me, I only want to have fun, everyone

is celebrating it, so I join them, being happy, that’s enough for me.

The generation gap is unavoidable in almost every family, which brings

about a number of conflicts in a family. In my opinion, to limit the bad effects

of the generation gap, each family should use the following three methods:

First of all, it is important that family members discuss openly about

their pleasures or sadness in childhood in family gatherings. This activity does

not only create a close relationship but also help build up understanding among

all members. For instance, once children are aware that their grandparents and

even their parents did not have a good upbringing during their hard childhood,

they will stop complaining about the previous generations’ obsoleteness. In the

meantime, once old people realize young people are nurtured in a new modern way,

it is easy for them to be tolerant of young people’s new habits or hobbies.

Secondly, people of each generation should not develop a very high feeling

about themselves. In order to do that, they should not think that they are the

only right people in their family because each person has his or her own

limitations. Teenagers would realize that their parents have to struggle with

pain to support them financially, and they would stop rebelling their

strictness. Parents would realize that their children’s new style does no harm

to their studies and stop imposing their own unsuitable standards on their

children.

Finally, the generation gap and its bad effects can be limited if all

members cooperate to build up a close-knit family relationship and a harmonious

atmosphere in which they are open and tolerant of each other. I strongly believe

that each family, by doing that, can enjoy a cozy atmosphere with minimum

interference by the generation gap.

Some people like to work alone while others enjoy teamwork. In my opinion,

everyone had better learn to work with others together because teamwork is

definitely necessary and important in modern society.

First, working in a team provides a chance for us to communicate with each

other. Just as the saying goes, “many hands make light job.” Working in a team,

teammates share their ideas with each other, which is helpful to create a better

achievement. Second, working in a team is a way to broaden our horizon.

Teammates in a team can learn something from each other because they are from

different places, owning various experiences and hold different views towards

things. Therefore, getting along with other teammates is also a process of

increasing our knowledge. Finally, working in a team is also a way to establish

our friendship. Teammates in a team have chances to help each other, to solve

the problems together, to share the happiness of being successful, which make a

great contribution to establishing friendship. Thus, working in a team is one of

1、以图表提供情景的作文要以“读”为主，首先要读懂图表中的数据、时间、编码、序号以及相互间的变化关系，对所给的信息加以分析、推断、筛选、概括、去粗取精；在写作时目的要明确，要注意内容的准确性和严肃性，尤其是图表中的数据、时间等不得有误。

2、以图画提供情景的作文应以“看”为主，通过细心观察图中的人物、景物、文字、环境、数字等，弄清写作的意图，通过分析思考把握逻辑联系，找出主题并借助所给的文字，把图中的信息转化成文章，但要注意，文章不能停留在图画的浅表，而要表达出提供情景的意图和内涵。

5、串句成篇将写好的句子连贯地组织起来，注意上下句的逻辑关系，适当采用递进、让步、转折、因果等关联词语，使短文浑然一体，层次分明，过渡自然。6、检查修改文章草成后，默读1～2遍，检查修改，尤其要注意人称、大小写、拼写、习惯用语、格式有无错误，要点有无遗漏，文句有无语病，词数是否恰当，行文是否连贯。

In my childhood, summer holidays left a deep impression on me. They brought me many happy memories now.

Everyday we got up early then. Though there was not much modern entertainment, we could still be content with climbing trees, swimming in the small river, catching butterflies , bees and or something. Anyway, we could give a full play to our imagination and intelligence to enjoy ourselves.

The most enjoyable time in a day was night. All people would go out to be cool. They talked with each other freely and happily. 那是一个北风呼啸，寒气逼人的冬天，天上飘着鹅毛大雪，我独自一人走在去汽车站的路上，“这鬼天气，害的俺都不能回家了！”“就是，这雪百年难得一见，这一见还让我碰上了！早知就不听老板的多上两天了”几个围在汽车周围的民工嘟嘟囔囔地说道，我买了票上了车，过了一会汽车带着无数思家心切的火热的心开动了，车大约行了半个小时，脑袋晕晕沉沉并且正在假寐的我被一阵叫骂声惊醒“呵，这是干什么呢？司机怎么不走了？这正急着回家呢！”我暗自心想，听车上的人说：“司机，司机，你咋停下来了呢，俺闺女还等俺给她带好吃的呢！”“就是，这大过年的，那个不赶时间哪”一个老汉赞同道，司机苦笑道：“不是我不开，是开不了……”话未说完，车里的就嚷嚷道：“啊？车坏了？你咋不早说！这不误事吗？”呵，你看这人，怎么能这样呢，人家司机话还未说完就抢话说，怎么一点文明礼仪也不讲啊，真是的，司机摇摇头接着说：“不，不，车没有坏，只不过有一个老人在车前挡住了车。”

于是我们纷纷打开了一点窗户，我透过大片的雪花望向窗外，只见一个衣衫褴褛的老太太拍着车门要上车，可是我们大家不让她上车，可她已经占到了车门前，无奈之下，司机开了车门，只见那个老奶奶冻得发青手中攥了一把硬币说：“拜托你们了，请让我上车吧，我的孙子生病了，病得很严重，我要给她送钱……”她话还没说完，一个身强力壮的小伙子一把把她推倒在地，老人手中的硬币全都掉到了茫茫雪海之中，而老人已经年过半百，腰都挺不直了，已经老眼昏花，捡起来的硬币已经寥寥无几，呀，这人是不是有毛病，不让老太太上车也就算了，怎么可以动手推人呢？真是没有道德品质，推了人硬币掉了也不知道捡起来，什么人呀！我虽然这么想着，可到底也没站出来让这个孤苦伶仃的老太太上车。

而车厢中的人们的心已经在这个寒风剌骨的冬天里被雪冻得铁石心肠了，不管老人怎么苦苦哀求，人们一致同意不让她上车，只是一个中年汉子费劲的挤到车门口，说：“大娘，没事他们不让你上车我让你上车！”并揪着你个小伙子的领子说：“你这个孩子怎么这么没公德心？啊？一个老人你还推她？给这位大娘道歉”我坐在一旁愣住了，这么多的人都不让她上车，这个大叔怎么……不容我不多想，大叔接着说：“大娘，你做我的位子，我家是马家村的，离这里很近，我走着就行了，”说着塞给了司机一元钱说是老人的车费，说完，不等大娘说句话就下车说了句：“祝您老孙子早日治好病，”然后就踩着茫茫的积雪走了，从车窗向外看去，只看见一排脚印向着远处延伸，延伸……车又缓缓开动了，而车厢中的气氛顿时显得十分寂静，不知谁小声的说了一句：“马家村离这里可有二十多公里，下着这么大的雪，路又被盖住了，他能走到家吗？真是一个二愣子，胡逞能……”旁边的人连声附和，后面的我就不知道他说了些什么，但我认为，这并不是胡逞能，这是一种大无畏的舍己为人的良好美德，是值得赞扬的，值得敬佩的，而那个老太太一听马家村离这里有二十里远， 不禁老泪纵横，赶紧双手合十，请求菩萨保佑他安全到家，我看着那个老太太，想着那个中年人帮助她的情景，我不禁十分感慨，也许他大字不识一个，但在我眼中，他是一个有文化的，有道德修养的好人，一个有着良好美德的热心人！希望这样的爱心人在帮助别人后都能安全到家！因为他们是懂尊老爱幼的热心人士！所以，在这里借这个题目，我——一个中学生向你们表达最崇高更高的敬意！

July 5th Monday cloudy

Today I came back from a place named “he chuan”, it’s a good place. There has some nice view like chang jiang river. I came there in two days ago. Our aunt is here. We had a good time in there. But I also write English dairy too. Because of the wrong computer, the message didn’t here. I wish myself to live more better tomorrow.

Ah ha, when I get up, it was time for lunch. But I really have a lot of work to do, I must write words and English dairy, then learned “Li yang” English, and then …… .

How tired am I! I went back from chongqing three hours ago. In the city I nearly lost the way. Thanks for the hot heart man and woman. They help us to find the way. Yesterday I came to the center of Chongqing with my mother. We came to a place named “toward the air door”. I think many people know it. This holiday is my best busy holiday for I am learning English, computer and word and I fall in the weekend exam. Many times I want to take today off, but my mother said to me:“go on, you must belive that you can do it.” So I have to try. Now my English is better than 2months ago.
