第三步，连接词的运用，使文章连贯、流畅。我把这些词分为8类，叫做“畅词”，往往学生由于中西方语言的差异，会忽视这一点，所以在授课中会通过大量的练习巩固和加强学生的印象。而且不仅要写，还写出高水平的畅词，因为高考是选拔性考试，要做到“人无我有,人有我优”。比如，“首先”这个表示次序的畅词，一般同学一定想到的是firstly 或者first of all。可是我建议学生启用to begin with, 或者initially (这个是建议水平较好的启用)。“然而”，绝大部分启用but, however，我建议学生采用on the contrary 或者oppositely。

第四步，也是整个课程的核心部分，要强化“复杂、高级”两个概念。为什么是核心呢?因为学生在这一部分没有正确的认识，在平时的学习中老师也没有有意识灌输和训练总结。大部分学生以为只要写出来、写正确就可以拿到高分，其实80-120个单词包括大概10个句子，如果全部是简单的词汇和句型没有办法达到最高档作文的要求。因此，我们强调高级的词汇和高级复杂的句型，不是说全部必须高级，而是必须出现一些才能符合高考作文大纲的要求。在这一步中，我总结的“高分词汇选择原则”、“简单句到复杂句的瞬间转换”、“高分句子写作策略”以及“钻石得分50句”，通过这些理论和实践结合的讲解，学生会感觉成绩的快速提升，效果明显。

[给朋友的一封信高中英语作文

奥运会如火如荼进行中，在全中国为奥运会或骄傲或愤慨或失望或遗憾或喜悦时，在全中国爱国情绪高涨时，我的书桌上静静的摆着一本古朴的书。林语堂先生的《中国人》。

许锡良先生就这样评价过林语堂：如果是一个完全不了解外面世界的中国人，或者是一个完全不懂中国的外国人，要了解中国都不会那么容易。但是，林语堂不同，他学贯中西，横跨东西方文化，更重要的是，他的生活中有着深厚而丰富的中西方生活背景，作为一个有着中国西方文化背景的中国人，来观察中国与中国人，自然会有比较客观公正的结论。我自然是赞成先生的说法的。

林语堂经过长期痛苦探索、反省与沉思之后，以弘扬中国悠久的传统文化为出发点，用大量翔实的背景材料为依据，对中西方文化作了广泛深入的比较，以通俗、微妙的方式阐述了自己对于中国人与文化的感受，试图向世界打开中国这扇古老的大门。正是因为对祖国的赤子之情，才使作者坦诚相见，不惜惹怒与此持异议的作家和同胞，甚至将中国的“麻烦都公之于世”，而不是为她涂脂抹粉。作者在自序中声称：本书不是为中国“伟大的爱国者”和西方的“爱国者”而作，只是为那些“没有失去自己最高人类价值”的人而写。

经过对南北方人的考证，林语堂发现这样一个事实：所有伟大王朝的创业者都来自一个相当狭窄的山区，即陇海铁路周围，包括河南东部、河北南部、山东西部以及安徽北部。为楚汉争霸中的刘邦与项羽，明朝的开国皇帝朱元璋，宋朝的赵匡胤以及近代史上的袁世凯、冯玉祥、吴佩孚、鹿钟麟等人，如果我们以陇海铁路的某一点为中心画一个圆圈，那么圈内就是这些封建帝王的出生地。

对于中国人消极避世的活命态度，林语堂认为这是由于个人权利缺乏有效的保障，才产生了这种不可忽视的处世态度，正如乌龟培育自己的甲壳一样。现实社会中“见义不为”的种种现象，不正是由于法律在保持个人权利的具体执行中发生了某些偏差，才导致人们对参与公共事业——“管闲事”——持淡漠的态度吗？

关于“家庭与婚姻问题”，作者认为：在家庭里，妇女是统治者，没有一个现代人会相信莎士比亚所说的：“弱者，你的名字是女人”。他认为中国妇女不是那种易受压迫的妇女。尽管被剥夺了西方妇女所享受的尊敬与社会权力，但当她们一旦适应了封建专制的家庭生活之后，也就不会计较是否参加社交聚会，而会认为自己在家庭的地位是最重要的因素。从这一观点出发，我们就不难理解：无论在政治上还是在家庭生活中，中国为什么会诞生那么多慈禧太后式的人物。

在“人生的归宿”这一人类永恒的命题上，作者认为：在很大程度上，人生仅仅是一场闹剧，有时最好站在一旁，观之笑之，这比一味介入要强得多。人生在世最重要的是掌握仅有的会给自己带来幸福的东西。他把“回归自然”视为一切美和幸福的永恒源泉。极力推崇人的一辈子应考虑如何真正的活着，而不是谋划如何发展；应珍惜现在的时光尽情享受，而不是去奋发劳动；应养精蓄锐以备它曰之不测，而不是发挥自己的精力。

“在这个世界上活得最愉快的永远是那些中产阶级嘛，即不用为了生计而奔波，也不至于可以完全放弃工作仍然可以奢华的度过一生。在慵懒中用功，在用功中慵懒，才是人生的最高境界。”

也许只有东方的哲人能够理解这种生活态度，他们觉得命运是轮回，没有一个人永远强势，也没有一个人永远倒霉，三十年河东，三十年河西。所以竞争是无益的，带着一种豁达和幽默去看待人生。

但我至今还不太肯定这种看法，中国的原始资本积累还没到那一步，我们还不可能象美国孩子那样暑假背者书包去周游世界，我们还没有资本去享受生活。从内心上来讲，自己不是一个很爱玩的人，总想找点事情来做。我想那些中产阶级永远体会不到的是象克林顿，罗斯福，肯尼迪那样用自己的个人魅力让整个国家为之疯狂的成就感，象比尔当年在白宫与莱温斯基有染而认罪时，美国人民说，看这孩子多么诚恳嘛，原谅他吧。也许有些人会觉得不在乎，但是谁知道了，或于是吃不到葡萄说葡萄酸了，连诸葛亮那样躬耕于南阳，都退却不了玄德三顾之恩，出山扶主，更不要说小资们了。

每一个有上进心的人，潜意识里都有一个目标，或明确，或模糊，这是不争的事实，相信如果机遇摆在他们面前，都不会轻言放弃的吧。这就是我读林先生的中国人最大的感受。

这是一场特殊的较量，这是一场激烈的角逐，这里有耀眼夺目的选手，这里有惋惜离别的泪水，这里是好梦成真的地方，这里是歌声的海洋，在这里可以练就一双展翅飞翔的翅膀!

李咏说：“既然有梦想，干嘛你不来?”

我们说：“大家有梦想，就要动起来!”

为了实现心中的梦想，选手们与汗水、泪水为伴;为了到达理想的顶峰，他们会竭尽全力，向着目标冲刺，向着太阳奔跑!

他渴望太空之外的世界，立志成为像杨利伟一样的英雄，乘着我国研制的“神舟N号”遨游太空;她仰慕公安局长任长霞的飒爽英姿，她也想为官一任，造福一方，为永恒的彩霞再续光芒;他的歌声可以唱响祖国大地，她的舞蹈可以惊起一滩鸥鹭，他们是荧屏上最亮丽的风景。

看眼前一片繁花似锦，叹今朝无数英雄豪杰。在梦想的舞台上，每个人都拥有自己那份至高无上的权力：为梦想而挑战!泪水仅仅是途中的小溪，困难也不过是区区顽石，然而，在你坚毅的脚下，这些又算得了什么?

来吧!激发你的斗志，树立你的信心，只有用宽阔的胸襟、辛勤的汗水、真诚的微笑、永恒的信念、勇敢的步伐，才能在梦想途中一帆风顺，直到拥有成功的翅膀，在那片属于你的蓝天下飞翔，大声呼喊吧——“梦想中国”!

Mid-autumn day is a special festival in China, which is one of the traditional Chinese festivals. It falls on the 15th day of Augustlunar month every year. Our Chinese will celebrate it on that day. I think there are not too many people can reject the temptation of it. I like this festival very much. I have two reasons.

First of all, Mid-autumn has the deep meaning of reunion. In China, people regard Mid-autumn day as very important, so no matter where they are, they will come back to their family if there is a chance. They don’t like celebrate this festival outside, which will make them feel lonely. Thus, they will go home by all means. Luckily, the government also pays great attention to this traditional festival. There are laws tomake sure people have holidays on that special day. In the other word, mid-autumn festival gives a chance for family get together.

Secondly, every family will prepare a big meal on that day. All the food is delicious. It is good to have a big meal. I think nobody will not interested in delicious food. The mooncake is a necessary decoration forMid-autumn day. It tastes good, too. It is the tradition for a long time. How pleased to enjoy the glorious full moon with mooncake!

This is why I love Mid-autumn festival so much.

How is everything going? I have good news to tell you. A volleyball match

is going to be held in a few weeks and our team will participate.

As for the detailed information of the match, there will be probably dozens

of teams which are going to make a revolving competition. Additionally, not only

can the top three teams each be awarded a medal but all the other teams taking

part in it will get a reward as well. What will be the most attractive is that

it will be a great honor for the top three teams to receive special volleyballs

that have the name of the most popular volleyball player on them. Therefore, we

must do enough preparations before the match, such as training as frequently as

we can.

So excited am I that I can’t wait to join in it.How about you? Looking

Dear editor,

I’m writing to tell you about the discussion we have had about whether an entrance fee should be charged for parks. 60% of us schoolmates think that an entrance fee do not meet people’s expectations, for a park is considered to be a place where the public can have a good time when they are not busy either at home or at work. If an entrance fee must be paid by the visitors for a park, it will be necessary to build a gate and surrounding walls. In the end a city will take on a bad look. 40% of us schoolmates think that an entrance fee can be accepted, but it must not be too expensive. The money from ticket selling can be used for paying the gardeners in the park and buying some other kinds of flowers and trees.

With regard to myself, I think an entrance fee is useful, for it can be used to protect a park. Do we share the same opinion, dear editor?

Today I talked to a coin, When it was made, it was nice and clean. People took the coin to a bank. It stayed there for a few days. A person at the bank gave the bank gave the coin to a man.
