Everyone is born with his or her kindness. That maybe the main reason for Mr. Clark"s student"s changing their minds. Together with Mr. Clark"s creation and his encouragements to his students, he gets to be successful.

Mr. Clark knows clearly that the children are all very kind in their heart bottoms. Then he tries to use his true love and expectations for them t make them moved. We all know that one"s habits or minds are quite difficult to change. Although during it Mr. Clark also feels depressed, things get to be better after his perseverance.

Then, Mr. Clark hasn"t been limited in the traditional way of teaching. He combines the history events with rap, which was so popular in the children. And the effect is so obvious. The children can remember them easily.

Besides, the children get to be more confident because of his encouragement. Once one has been confident, his or her potential ability comes out easily. Then they are sure to do a good job. That"s just what they do in their exam.

In my point of view, Mr. Clark"s true love, perseverance, creation and encouragements bring him his success. And it seems that sure of them are true of many other thins.

During this term I have read a novel The Red and the Black. The novel was written by the French writer Stendhal in the 19th century. Marie·Henri Beyle better known by his pen name Stendhal was one of the critical realism French writers in the 19th century . The military and theatrical worlds of the First French Empire were a revelation to Beyle. Known for his acute analysis of his characters’ psychology and reflection of society he is considered one of the earliest and foremost practitioners of realism in his two novels Le Rouge et le Noir (The Red and the Black 1830) and La Chartreuse de Parme (The Charterhouse of Parma 1839). Stendhal laid down for himself in a diary entry of May 1804:“regard everything I’ve read to date about man as a prediction; believe only what I have seen for myself. Hermione is a 10 year old girl who likes learn a lots , and she goes to Hogwarts.

Quirrell is Hogwarts’s teacher,Voldemort’s helper.

Climax:Harry never thought Quirrell was helping Voldemort. Quirrel cought Harry and let him to get the Philospher’s stone, but when Harry got it, he didn’t give it to Quirrell, and Voldemort came out,from the back of Quirrell’s head!And Voldemort orderd Quirrell to catch Harry and get the stone, but when Quirrell touched Harry, his body dissolved,and then he died.

Conclusion:Harry defeated Voldemort, and the year has finished,it’s time for the school cup,Gryffindor was in last , but 4 more things let them win!

I felt that I was deeply fascinated by it soon after I had read it.

I first read it in a summer. I did not finish it at a single sitting. Characters in the story were so vivid as if they had been going to jump out of the story, as if they had been existed in the real life at first.

“Land is the only thing in the world that amounts to anything, for ‘this the only thing in this world that lasts, and don’t you be forgetting it’ this the only thing worth working for, worth fighting for——worth dying for.” Said Gerald, an Irish man who loved his soil more than his own life, let us know that life can be born out of land.

This novel gave me too much to think about and I can not fully express myself in English. It is true that reading an origin is more vivid than the translated ones. However, my English level limits me to understand the origin well without the translated. But I will work hard in order to understand better.

The novel is my treasure, forever, because I find myself in Scarlett and find the world I live in inside the story.

That’s really an excellent novel, with an ending from which you can see hope rising from despair.

After reading this book I was shocked and moved by the little boy in the story. The writer let me feel the braveness and kindness in the book.

First, I want to introduce the writer to you. The writer is Maksim Gorky (18681936) He is the former Soviet Union proletarian writer, the founder of socialist realism literature. He was poor, his father died when he was 11-year-old .He and working people shared their fate, and personal experience of capitalist. Gorky is not only a great writer, but also an outstanding community activist. He had set up the Soviet Writers Association, and presided over a congress of the Soviet Union .Gorkys works began to be introduced to China since 1907. His outstanding literary works and books bands in the world-off Class common wealth.

There are four main characters in the story. They are Alexis, his mother Varia, his grandfather and his grandmother. They are totally different.

His mother is a poor but kind woman. Her little son died when he was born. Her husband was died too. Then she married with another man ,but the man always maltreats her.

His grandmother was also a kind woman. She brought up Alexis and gave courage and kindness to Alexis. But unfortunately, his husband always hit her and she died because of illness at last.

His grandfather was a stingy and fierce man. He always maltreats his wife and Alexis. He just loved his money.

The protagonist of this novel was a boy named Alexis. His father died when he was only 3 years old. He followed his mother and came to her motherhome. His grandfather is a violent man. His two uncles are also selfish. His grandfather often hit his wife and his grandson. Little Alexis was maltreated in the family and grew up gradually. However, his grandmother is a kind woman. She is the warm sun of Alexis, she tried her best to protect Alexis. His two uncles wants to get his fathermoney and always fight with their father. The old couple were very disappointed with their son. Finally, the old man decided to separate with them. He sold the old house and bought another home in the city. At that time , his mother came home and married with another man and had a little boy. His stepfather often maltreats his wife and disappeared some days later. He grandfather wanted to earn more money and sold the house. He lent the money to others in order to get more interest and rented a small room to live. He got more and more stingy and did not give any money to his wife. Alexis and his grandmother have to make money by themselves. Personal understanding:

After reading this novel, I can not calm down for a long time. He was so young and lives in such a cold family. He almost never gets the love form his parents. In fact ,the writer wanted to express himself through Alexis. Alexis was like himself. Gorky expressed his childhood through Alexis. This book makes me realize these ugly people at that time. If we with compare our childhood with Gorkys, we would think his childhood is too pathetic.

I want to express my feeling to Alexis. He was young and he did not receive good education. He lived with the fights and quarrels of his families. He was unlucky but he still knew how to be a good person. We are so lucky to live in a warm family. But most of us are not satisfied with it and we want more. We do not know how to cherish the things we have. We often ask for everything from our parents and depend them too much. If someone bully us outside, our parents will encourage us, but for Alexis, nobody will help him and his grandfather even maltreats him. What a poor boy he is. However, unlike other ones, this story first delineates the client’s strange behavior at length to indicate the severity of the incident in order to attract the readers to continue reading it. As is known to all, vivid depiction is essential to detective stories since it can help the readers understand each figure’s characteristics and visualize the scenes, thus making the story more authentic and attractive. Therefore, trying to present a “real world” to his readership, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, author of the original “Holmes series”, has skillfully arranged the plots of the whole story from the perspective of Dr. Watson, a character not so specialized in discovering the truth hidden behind the enigmatic happenings as Holmes but so loyal to Sherlock Homes as a friend that he always accompanies Holmes wherever he goes. In this way, he elaborately depicted every scene and character in the book, Apart from the special start, the ending of the whole story, being dramatic but reasonable, is certainly an outstanding one. After all, except the author himself, who knows that the Duke’s seemingly ordinary secretary is in fact the Duke’s bastard? In addition, who knows that the Duke actually has already been acquainted with the whole thing before Holmes solves this complicated problem? Yet, surprising as it is, this ending seems so natural that it fits all the plots of the story perfectly well. While enjoying this wonderful story, I could do nothing but admire the wonderful design of this masterpiece as well as the author’s gorgeous writing skill. Closing my eyes, I can even “see” the story happening just like watching a film. Not until then did I understand why the Japanese cartoon film Detective Conan used this “Conan” as the name of its hero.

As far as I am concerned, nothing is more admirable and surprising in the hero Sherlock Homes than his profound knowledge which has certainly assisted him a lot when he was studying the case. Take the bicycle tyres for instance, Holmes actually is capable of recognizing 42 different varieties of bicycle tyres. What’s more, according to his other stories, Holmes has studied different kinds of newspapers, cigarettes, people’s footprints and other special things as well. Therefore, he seems to have the mastery of anything relevant to the cases he deals with. Except for his illimitable knowledge, Holmes also specializes in arranging the facts in order and then finding the fact leading him to a great discovery or even the truth itself. From his speaking “Every mystery has an answer”, we can readily shape the impression of a man with great intelligence and inflexible will. In this case, after getting rid of unrelated facts, Sherlock Homes eventually grasped the clue and discovered the amazing fact.

Needless to say, as a world-renowned masterpiece, Sherlock Holmes and the Duke’s Son has attracted and is still charming numerous readers from all corners of the world and people from all walks of life. The “Holmes series” has already set up a standard against which all the following detective fictions are measured. Sherlock Holmes, beyond all doubt, has become a name firmly rooted in people’s memories. Although Dr. Watson’s closing The Case Book of Sherlock Holmes in 1927 was a great pity to the readers, the discontinuance of the entire “Holmes series” may have actually added to the legendary stature of Sherlock Holmes.

The main character our little prince live on a planet named B612 accompany with there volcanoes an a rose who falls in love with him but can not understand each other.Consequencely,he leave his planet and his endless travelling.During this period,he come across a diversity of people. From these people he gets a conclusion that the grown-ups are very odd.Then he enter earth and found thousands of roses alike.The little prince discovers that his rose is not the only ,plenty of her kind are everywhere, but then he realizes that his rose is special because it is she that I have watered; because it is she that I have put under the glass globe; because it is she that I have sheltered behind the screen . What impresses me the most is the fox’s words.love is a strange stuff.Sometimes we see it but can’t grasp it.Yet, true love may be, to some extent, invisible in surface but may last permanent.Apart from love, others as well.Indeed,sometimes what we consider right turn out to be wrong,what we consider real proves fictitious,what we confused may just turn out to be the truth.The path In searching for truth may long and time-consuming,we should harbour conviction,b will and high hope.No matter what barriade in front of us,we ought to be couragous and face up to the challenge.

the Old Man and the Sea is one of Hemingways most enduring works and may very well become one of the true classics of this generation. It played a GREat part in his winning the Pulizer Prize in 1953 and the 1954 Novel Prize for Literature and confirmed his power and presence in the literary world. Hemingway is also one of my favorite writers. Besides The Old Man And the Sea, I have read some of his other works, such as The Sun Also Rises, A Farewell to Arms and The Snow of Kilimanijaro. But The Old Man and the Sea is the one that left the deepest impression on me.

I first read this book when I was in my fifteens. And now I remember it just as well as if I had read it yesterday.

Pride and Prejudice is a chefdoeuvre.

My first impression of this story was from screen.

Its long long ago, maybe before I can read english books. I dont remember which movie edition I had seen. But I was impressed by the music, the scenery and the costume. I was very favor of a section of music in its balls. Its pretty brisk, liked a wonderful song of a bird. Regarding to the characters, I liked Elizabeth, the heroine,though I didnt think shes beautiful. But shes smart. However, I didnt pay much attention to the plot. I thought its so long that it made me impatient and bored. By now, I havent read the whole story in English or its Chinese version, either. I owe it to my prejudice.

In fact, I didnt understand the story at that time. I didnt know why it called Pride and Prejudice. Of course someone was pride, but I didnt find where s the prejudice. I thought its normal, the way people treated each other in that. I considered prejudice would be very disgusting. But to the movie everthing was OK in my minds, except its length. Now, I think I have understood more about it. Im a prejudiced person so I cant find wheres wrong. I merely like to do the things I like. Everytime I meet somebody or something,my thinking about he or it all depends on my foregone experience and my mood of the time.
