After reading the whole novel, what impresses me most is not the mysterious vampires family, but the kindhearted and brave girl --- Bella. Bella was a 17-year-old girl who has experienced her parents” divorce. In order not to be an obstacle to her mother”s happiness with her stepfather, Bella firmly chose to move into a new city --- Forks to live with her father. Actually, some people may wonder why Edward would fall in love with such a delicate human girl, while others may hold a doubtful attitude towards their love story. However, to my mind, I strongly believe that Bella and Edward can lead a happy life. Bella is a kindhearted and independent girl who never goes with tide. She always sticks to her own way of doing everything. On her first day to school, Edward came across with Bella, and at that moment Edward could not move his eyes on Bella at his first sight on her. I clearly know that it was Bella”s unique and special character that drew Edward”s attention. In Edward”s mind, Bella was a natural girl with a kind heart. At that moment, I couldn”t help praising, that Edward was such a thoughtful gentleman who cares about the person he loves at any time. No wonder Bella would love him.

Great changes have taken place in the world with the help of science. In the past, life was nasty, brutish and short. It is hard to imagine how our forefathers could do without so many conveniences that modern science brings about. Back then, only a small group of people enjoyed the very few comforts. But the majority of people didn’t even have sufficient food, let along their privilege to be educated. Anyway, it is science that changes the world and makes people’s life better and better, although it also leads to some bad aspects at the same time.
From the discovery of the gravity to the first step on the moon, we human beings have experienced a long process of developing science. And now, this process is still continuing much faster. New organisms are already being engineered, and new genetically modified crops promise benefits from higher yields and less use of harmful chemicals and so on. A lot of examples are showing this point. In the future, changes are likely to be even much greater as science reaches out to shape life itself. Maybe one day, the possibility that life existed on Mars billions of years ago will be potentially one of the greatest discoveries of our time. It is the force of the competition, we human beings’ inquiring mind and initiative that bring about the non-stopped development of science. Therefore, it is difficult and impossible to prevent science from changing the world and our life as well.

So when they face the problems such as acid rain, the greenhouse effect, nuclear weapons, environment destruction and some other problems, they can also make informed decisions on these subjects, just as what Hawking said. One aspect relies on what is taught in schools. But science is often taught in an uninteresting way and most students just learn it by rote to pass examinations. However, the final goal of learning science is not to pass examinations or to get a higher score; instead, we should try to make full use of it to change our world and life. While learning, we should try to ask more questions and we should have the courage of suspecting the knowledge in the books, as some of the scientific conclusions are likely to be corrected in the future. But he refuses to acknowledge this fear, expressing it only in a few instances—for example, when he talks about sex and admits that “[s]ex is something I just don’t understand. I swear to God I don’t” (Chapter 9).
Instead of acknowledging that adulthood scares and mystifies him, Holden invents a fantasy that adulthood is a world of superficiality and hypocrisy (“phoniness”), while childhood is a world of innocence, curiosity, and honesty. Nothing reveals his image of these two worlds better than his fantasy about the catcher in the rye: he imagines childhood as an idyllic field of rye in which children romp and play; adulthood, for the children of this world, is equivalent to death—a fatal fall over the edge of a cliff. His created understandings of childhood and adulthood allow Holden to cut himself off from the world by covering himself with a protective armor of cynicism. But as the book progresses, Holden’s experiences, particularly his encounters with Mr. Antolini and Phoebe, reveal the shallowness of his conceptions.

今年暑假,我读了美国著名作家海明威的小说“老人与海”。我非常佩服小说中高级的渔夫的意志,他让我明白一个人一定要有不屈不挠的精神,才可能获得成功。
这部小说描述一年近六十岁的高级渔夫,当独自一人去海上钓鱼,钓一条大鱼,其实没有拉。高级的渔夫社会化几天后鱼,才发现这是超过了自己的大马林鱼渔船几折,虽然知道很难取胜,但仍不放弃。后来又因大马林鱼伤口在几个成群的鲨鱼鱼鱼鱼腥味带来一阵食物,但老人还是不希望这样放弃,最终突出环绕,返回到大鱼带渔港,让其他渔夫不钦佩了。
当我读到“高级的渔夫想:这里的海岸真的是太近,可能会有更大的鱼在更远的地方……“时,我非常佩服这个高级渔夫,因为他现在已经预计在一些鱼,但他没有解决现状,但方法更大的目标前进。再看看我们,通常遇到一个略是困难的,我们都不停地抱怨。我们将是祖国的未来,应该像这样老人相同心灵崇高的愿望,将更好的追求更好,更大的目标。

阅读大鱼的血的气味是由一群鲨鱼闻到了鱼,挣扎着游一阵食物,老人的左手正好在抽搐,他只能使用右手,用木棒、嘴等一切可以用来攻击的武器自卫,并最终被这群鲨鱼的鱼。但大鱼的肉已经吃了一大部分,但是老人也快乐地批评自己的左手“该工作时间实际上是休息”,我也被老人的乐观精神迟滞。在生活中,有些损失是不可避免的,我们应该以乐观的态度对待,不能计算。
小说最后,看到一个青年高级的渔夫充分衡量有十八英尺长的大马林鱼,再次描述这条鱼的巨大,说明老渔夫克服了困难很大,非是更常见。
小说歌颂高级的渔夫的精神恐惧艰难和危险的努力没有斗争,我们也应该像他这样,不能满足于现状,应该积极,做任何事都是无情的,遇到困难必须欢迎以上困难,绝不中途放弃。只有这样,我们才可以获得更大的成功和胜利。

Her novels all described the lifestyle and social communications of families in the countries of England as what she is familiar with. The book Pride and Prejudice is the typical one that fully expressed Jane’s view on marriage and emphasized that the benefit on economic exerts a great influence on marriage.
The characters in the novel all had their own opinions on marriage. Mrs. Bennet, for instance, has only one aim-that of finding a good match for each of her five daughters.

There are just so many different characters that were all formed under the society of England in 18’s century. Then, there was filled with unfairness between men and women. Just as what Jane Austen said,”It is a truth universally knowledge, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife. ”

Its long long ago, maybe before I can read english books. I dont remember which movie edition I had seen. But I was impressed by the music, the scenery and the costume. I was very favor of a section of music in its balls. Its pretty brisk, liked a wonderful song of a bird. Regarding to the characters, I liked Elizabeth, the heroine,though I didnt think shes beautiful. But shes smart. However, I didnt pay much attention to the plot. I thought its so long that it made me impatient and bored. By now, I havent read the whole story in English or its Chinese version, either. I owe it to my prejudice.
In fact, I didnt understand the story at that time. I didnt know why it called Pride and Prejudice. Of course someone was pride, but I didnt find where s the prejudice. I thought its normal, the way people treated each other in that. I considered prejudice would be very disgusting. But to the movie everthing was OK in my minds, except its length. Now, I think I have understood more about it. Im a prejudiced person so I cant find wheres wrong. I merely like to do the things I like. Everytime I meet somebody or something,my thinking about he or it all depends on my foregone experience and my mood of the time. I like it so just like it, if not so just not. Im a person thinking by heart not by brain. What is worse, I actually didnt think its wrong. I thought everyone is all like that.Everyone has his special way to cognize the world. So its individuality, not prejudice. But I think something is wrong. Though everyone can judge in the way he likes, he cant ignore other ones. You can like what you like and hate what you hate, but you should be objective when you meet external world. I think it means that you should consider things roundly, not just partial. Individuality is different from prejudice. What is it? I need to think more.

冰心在给《穆斯林的葬礼》写国际版的序言时，她说在读这本书之前，几乎对穆斯林一无所知。自己亲自看过之后，我深深表示赞同，我缺乏对其他民族和宗教的了解。小说大概讲述了一个北京玉器家族两代人的故事，章节交错的方式，让故事有穿越时空的感觉。讲述民国时的故事，让我想起了老北京的那些各行各业的老字号和文化;讲述北大燕园的景色，让我对北大和学生时代有些感伤;讲述避难伦敦，让我想起上个世纪的世界战争。当然，最最重要的还是主人公韩新月的命运和与楚雁潮老师之间的爱情。新月还是死了，带着遗憾走了。但是让我们明白了一个真理：爱情以及人性中美好的东西是可以超越宗教和种族的，虽然在现实中经常会被扼杀，而正因为现实的残酷，才越发觉得这些东西的珍贵。

《哪吒之魔童降世》（由于名字过长，以下简称《哪吒》）讲述的是一颗灵丹与一颗魔丸，灵丹被认为会造福苍生，魔丸被认为会导致生灵涂炭。天尊在魔丸上布下了天劫咒，三年后会被一道雷劈得渣都不剩，而灵丹则转世作李靖的儿子。谁知，由于申公豹的暗算，魔丸转世为李靖的儿子哪吒，而灵丹则落入看守海底炼狱（其实等同于把自己也锁住了）的龙族，转世为敖丙。后来，由于一个偶然的机会，他们成为了朋友。可在最后，为了龙族，“灵丹”反而成了想活埋村子的“恶棍”，“魔丸”反而成了“英雄”。
