1、刘基：字伯温，他以神机妙算、运筹帷幄著称于世。散文《卖柑者言》中有一名句：金玉其外，败絮其中。

2、于谦：字廷益，明朝名臣、民族英雄，《明史》称赞其“忠心义烈，与日月争光”。于谦与岳飞、张煌言并称“西湖三杰”。代表作《石灰吟》。

3、归有光：世称“震川先生”，其散文风格朴实，感情真挚，是明代“唐宋派”代表作家，被称为“今之欧阳修”，后人称赞其散文为“明文第一”。代表作《项脊轩志》。
