年轻人喜欢一年中的这个时候，因为它对运动有益。我经常去游泳，有时在我家附近的海里游泳，有时在游泳池里游泳。夏天我也可以吃各种各样的水果和蔬菜。我也可以有一个漫长的暑假。

我非常喜欢夏天。

Among all means of transportation, I like bicycle most. It’s cheap as well as popular.

在所有的交通工具中，我最喜欢的是自行车。它很便宜也很受欢迎。

There are many advantages to ride the bicycle. In the first place, riding bicycle makes me feel independent. I can go anywhere by bicycle. Especially during rush hours, I can still move freely. Secondly, using a bicycle is good for environment protection, because it wont emit any waste gas. Moreover, bicycle riding is also a good sport. While riding a bicycle, I can exercise myself, which is healthful to me.

骑自行车有很多优点。首先，骑自行车使我感到独立。有了自行车我可以去任何地方。尤其是上下班时间，我仍然可以自由的移动。其次，使用自行车有利于环境保护，因为它不排放任何废气。此外，骑自行车也是一种很好的运动。骑自行车，对我来说是很健康的，我可以锻炼自己。

In my free time, I often ride my bicycle to get around in the downtown area or in the countryside, so as to relax myself. Its really a nice outdoor activity for me, I think.

在我的空闲时间，我经常骑自行车在市区或者乡村到处走走，为的是自我放松。我觉得那对我来说真的是一个很好的户外活动。

狗dogs

Nowadays many people like to have dogs as their pets. Dogs are friends of man not only because they are lovely but also because they are faithful to their masters.

Dogs can do a lot of work for man. They play with us. They hunt with us. They keep door for us. But long ago, dogs all over the world were wild.

Dogs can date back to the Stone Age. All dogs have the same ancestor. It is believed that their ancestor was much like a wolf. Other animals, such as the fox, came from this ancestor, too. Hundreds of thousands of years ago, man began to tame wild dogs. After the dogs were tamed, they were trained. The strong dogs became working animals. They were trained to pull heavy loads. They learned to keep an eye on the sheep and other animals. Working dogs had other jobs, too.

Some dogs were not strong. But they could help man hunt for game. Other dogs were best as pets.

Today, there are more than 100 kinds of dogs in the world.

现在许多人都把狗当作他们的宠物。狗是人类的朋友，不仅因为它们可爱，而且因为它们对主人忠诚。

狗能为人类做很多工作。它们可以和我们玩，它们可以跟我们一起打猎，它们可以给我们看家。但是以前世界上的狗都是野生的。

狗可以追溯到石器时代。所有的狗都是同一个祖先，人们相信狗的祖先很像狼。其他动物，如狐狸，也是来自这个祖先。几千年前人类就开始驯服野狗，狗被驯服后，人们就训练它们。强壮的狗成为人类工作的帮手，人们训练它们拉重的货物。它们学会了帮人们照看绵羊和其它的动物。

有些狗不够强壮，但它们能帮人们寻找猎物。还有些狗成了人们的宠物。

目前世界上狗的种类已经达到100多种。

在所有的动物中，我对小狗情有独钟。为什么呢?因为我认为狗对人类最忠诚，有很多电影都是赞扬狗的，比如《笨贼神狗》。

不管是大狗还是小狗，它们都能为人类作出杰出的贡献。例如警犬就是警察叔叔的好帮手，它长得严肃、英俊，一看就知道它能为警察抓到坏人。有的大狗能为主人看家，尽管在漆黑的夜晚，它也不肯睡个好觉，还是愿意帮主人看家。它用自己敏感的耳朵，来判断门外是否有坏人。那些小狗也非常可爱，它们会给人们分担忧愁，会跟小朋友们一起嬉戏，还会配合叔叔阿姨演杂技逗观众们开心呢!我小的时候姥姥家养了一只小狗，名叫咪咪。咪咪穿着一身棕色的棉大衣，毛茸茸的。它的脖子上套着一个小铃铛，走起路来，铃铛“铃铃”直响，像一支快乐的小曲子。它走起路来，尾巴翘在了背上，像一朵绽开的花一样。

咪咪是我最好的朋友，每天我就和它一起玩耍。一天，我和姥姥准备给它洗澡。已经接好了水，我让咪咪过来，可它非不来，我把它抱了起来，可是它却“汪汪汪”叫了三声，我想：“它已经很长时间没有洗澡了，会不会对水生疏了呢?”然后我说：“咪咪，你还记得上次洗澡吗?你还在水里打水仗呢，再玩一次吧!”真是狗通人性呀，咪咪三步并做两步地走向了水盆。

每当我走在大街上时，遇到了狗，要给它们打一声招呼我才肯罢休。有时候我会嘴它们招手，向它们问好。直到小狗走得远时，我还在望着它们。

我多么渴望养一只小狗呀!
