This view has been shared now by more and more people. I’m very glad to receive college education and i reached the conclusion that i have come to college not for one single reason, but for many.

First, university is such an ideal place to broaden my horizon and make more friends. The youth of 21stcentury should be open-minded, instead of being a person with a tunnel vision. I’m ready to meet more challenges and make more friends during the four years.

第一，大学是能开阔我眼界和结交更多朋友的理想之地。作为21世纪的年轻人，我们应该开拓思维，而不是目光狭隘。我已经做好在这四年内接受挑战和认识更多朋友的准备了。

Second, I’m unwilling to step into the society straight after high school. I’m afraid I’m not fully prepared for the working environment: complicated interpersonal problems, jockeying for position, a tremendous amount of pressure and etc. I have to face various kinds of major conflicts as well as trivial things. I seem to be over-pessimistic, but that actually accounts for part of my choice.

There are many traditional cultures. I like Spring Festival best.

Legend has it that there was once a monster named nian who often went to the village to harm people, eat cattle and sheep. So, people want to get rid of it. However, no matter what people do, they cant get rid of the year. In the end, a child accidentally lit the bamboo and made a crackling noise, and nian was scared away. People are happy. Later, people set off firecrackers on this day in order to commemorate the happy day. Later, it gradually became the "Spring Festival" festival.

I go back to my hometown every year. Every year, its very busy. On the eve of the New Year, it is also called New Years eve. Every family is affixed with spring couplet, affixed "fu" word. Some people are so clever that they cut their own window flowers to the window, like falling snow. Others hang lanterns on the front door, and the lanterns are very beautiful.

heart. Be grateful to others is a way to show your love. In our daily life, we

often receive help from our parents, friends, colleagues and strangers. Perhaps

it is a little thing, pick up the pen you drop, lift a heavy box for you or

offer you a seat in the bus. We should be thankful to them for whatever they

have done. The more love you give, the more love you receive.

A sense of gratitude can acknowledging our interdependent existence. You

will be ready to help others if you have a thankful heart. Therefore, a thankful

heart is like a magnet. Not only will we attract more things to be grateful for,

but also we will attract gratitude from others. “give thanks alittle and you

will find a lot.”

Gratitude is heaven itself. A sense of gratitude and indebtedness to others

is and important wellspring of a generous and virtuous life. We now fall into a

busy life, neglecting to be grateful for details, the beauty of nature, the

comforts of modern living ,the love of parents and so on. People can notice

these details and realize the friendship, love and happiness in our life with a

grateful heart.

The first bell ringing is the symbol of Chinese New Year. Chinese people like to go to a large squares where there are huge bells are set up approachcelebrate together.

The people believe that the ringing of huge bell can some people have begun going to mountain temples to wait for the first ringing. Hanshan Temple in Suzhou, is very famous temple for its first ringing of the bell to heraldto Hanshan Temple to celebrate Chinese New Year.

College is always considered as a turning point in our educational career and life. I would use adaptationas the key word when describing my first year at college.

As we enter a new school, we first have to adapt a new environment and meet new people.As we leave home and move into the school dormitory, we need to learn to live and get along with other people who have different living habit. And as we start a higher level education, we need to adopt a new way of study. Teachers are no more like the ones in high school that will push us to learn.

Instead, we have more options and spare time to do what we want.

I am glad that I have overcome the difficulties and adapted the new life of college. I have achieved a lot more than I expected at my first year of college. First of all, I have made new friends who share the same hobbies and met new teachers who inspire me in all way. Secondly, I have become more independent. I have got used to a new way of study and often study different things by myself. I can take care of myselfwithout parents being by my side all the time. This years new years Eve, I spent my grandmothers home in Shaoxing. The twelfth lunar month 28 evening, on the way to Shaoxing, we were caught in a heavy snow. The car is everywhere flying snow white, but the yellow lights to illuminate the road ahead, but also the warmth of home peoples heart. The lamp of faint light, in the snow gave people the warmth of home.

The twelfth lunar month 29 morning, we came to the peak Temple Buddha, incense in the incense burner peak hillside, this is also a custom of Shaoxing new year.
