This morning, it is time for us to make sandwiches, so we are very excited. We took two bread and put sausage, eggs and vegetables in it, and then we cut the bread into two other shapes.

My Mom said: “ we need to take food there, because there is one place to eat, but the food there is bad. I went to search the internet, and many people said that.” Because my Dad need to work after breakfast, so my Mom would take me there by herself. After 30 minutes, we arrived the science center.

I began school at seven in accordance with the law in a remote village. Short of funds, the school had only a few classrooms, all poorly constructed.  to say, our teachers were few, too. As a pupil I preferred the playground to the classroom and often liked to play tricks on girls, as by hiding insects in their desk drawers. Once, on our way home, a bunch of naughty students found a crickets hole and exerted themselves to inject water into it with loud cheers. The girls were  less frantic than the boys when they were having a good time at such games as jump-rope, hopscotch and battledore and shuttlecock.

也许它们的生命之于我们是短暂的，是单调的，但依然可以活得很精彩，很生机。

相比之下，我们还有什么整天唉声叹气的理由呢?

今天，我们家包饺子吃，妈妈让我也学着包饺子。我想：“包饺子有什么难？不就是把饺子馅放到饺子皮里捏一下不就可以了吗？”

开始包饺子了，爸爸妈妈都在熟练的包饺子，我也凑到桌子旁，拿了一张饺子皮开始包了起来。我把饺子皮放在一只手心里，然后用另一只把馅往里一放，用手使劲一捏，一个饺子就包好了。我很开心，心想：包饺子太简单了！于是我把饺子往碟子里放，哎呀，面皮破了，馅毫不犹豫地全露出来了，真是一点儿面子都不给我。

我红着脸赶紧拿了一张面皮，包住破的地方，谁知用力过猛，馅从另一边又冒出来了，我就又赶紧拿起另一张面皮往馅漏出来的那一边补。这下可好，我包的饺子变成平“胖娃娃”了，成了饺子里的大王了。我低下头仔细看着爸妈包了。

看来做一件家务活可真不容易呀！以后我可要虚心学习，多帮妈妈干家务活！

The Chinese Dragon Boat Festival is a significant (有意义的)holiday celebrated (庆祝)in China, and the one with the longest history (历史最悠久). The Dragon Boat Festival is celebrated by boat races (龙舟赛) in the shape of dragons. Competing teams (竞争团队) row their boats forward to a drumbeat (击古)racing to reach the finish end first.

The boat races during the Dragon Boat Festival are traditional customs (传统习俗)to attempts to (试图)rescue (搭救) the patriotic poet (爱国诗人)Chu Yuan. Therefore the fish could eat the rice rather than the hero poet. This later on turned into the custom of eating tzungtzu and rice dumplings(棕子).

The celebrations is a time for protection (防护) from evil (邪恶) and disease (疾病) for the rest of the year.
