The Laba Festival is a traditional Chinese holiday celebrated on the eighth day of the twelfth month of the lunar Chinese calendar. understand and accept.

After reading the book, I find many shortages of my communication skills. I

After a long cold winter when I have rarely been out on my bike, the weather has finally turned warmer and even sunny occasionally. As Tom has a permanent Sunday Lunch appointment at 12-30pm we opted to make a round trip to Hannan . The weather was cloudy but dry and as we were both a bit out of condition after a long winter lay off we took the easy option of taking the train to Shiyan to get us on top of the ridge with an easy start for the trip.

A long coast down to Jiangtan and straight on to Mount End saw us climbing up to Zhongshan Park. The climb got stiffer but still Tom kept on riding. Gritting my teeth I followed on and crested the hill, Then the usual Essex switchback with an enforced short walk for both of us part way along saw us at Tawny common. Round the common we went, to the Mole Trap, an erstwhile rough old country pub now tarted up for the motorists. I don’t go in there any more, so we sat on the adjacent public seat for a while and a short natter.

Time enough to break away, Tom to his lunch appointment, me for home by way of theYellow Crane Tower and Changjiang Bridge. See you in a while, crocodile! I arrived home about 2 o’clock. Just in time for my own Sunday lunch .

一个人的暑假总是有不能够控制的时候。有时候真觉得自己该交几个靠谱的朋友，而不是总是会放鸽子。尤其是在烈日炎炎之下的我，被放鸽子，被热得汗流浃背，内心却是无比的寒凉。

原本与朋友约好今天一道出去，结果朋友临时说家里需要他一同去拜访亲戚，不得不去，又只好抛弃我。我也不好说什么，只能怪他计划不周。一个人出来玩，是我比较忌讳的事情，因为我是一个很讨厌一个人吃饭的人，大多数时候，我都会吃的饱饱的再出门。这是和朋友约好的，我又错过家里的饭店，不得不在外面委屈一顿。

为了保险起见，我选了我常去的一家粉丝店。店员和我也算是非常熟透了，基本上每一次我和朋友出来玩，也有不小的概率会选择这一家店。不过被朋友放鸽子，一个人过来吃，这样的次数都是少之又少。

这家粉丝是出了名的好吃，总是在饭点的时候爆满。好地我走到这里的时候，已经过了饭点。店里的人依旧有点多，但是至少也可以找得到位置，虽然并不理想，但是一个人出来，就觉得凑合凑合也行。像往常一样，点了一份牛肉粉丝。不同的是，在点餐的时候却突然又接到了朋友的电话。朋友一边在电话里面一个劲的道歉，我虽然听着，但是心情也并没有什么好转。

直到我去拿餐的时候，才发现我点的牛肉粉丝里面多了几个花甲，大概店员听到了我在指责我朋友，让我错过家里的饭店，没有吃早饭的原因，所以给我多加了一份小菜，我内心感到一些温暖。然而店员只是说，一不小心加错了。店员的微笑，让我觉得自己太过于斤斤计较。

也许是我过度解读了别人的表情，但是我依然觉得，自己不应该因为被别人放鸽子，就要不高兴一整天，时间是自己的，开不开心也是自己说了算。有时候人需要一点自我欺骗和自作多情，帮助自己去更好的成长。

这次寒假我很少一睡睡到太阳老高，而总是在7点或8点钟很自然的就醒了，然后连鞋都顾不上穿就跑向妈妈的房间和弟弟“聊天”。因为我弟弟生来就不喜欢睡觉，他属于“精力旺盛”型的，从落生直到3个月大一直如此，为这我妈妈现在还很烦恼。

除上面所有“优点”（我认为那是优点，因为我小时侯也不爱睡觉）以外，我弟弟的“口才”也是一流的，还不到两个月的时候就会对人“哦，哦”的讲话了。在寒假期间经过我的训练，讲话已经会转弯儿了。有时甚至会发出类似于“爸爸”、“哥哥”的字眼。除早上时间，我一有空都会和他聊，虽然我说的话自己听不懂，但我想他一定能听得懂，因为我们说的是同一国的语言。总之他咿咿呀呀，我也咿咿呀呀，在他的带领下我们仿佛有一种返朴归真的感觉。

在这期间，我还主动帮小弟弟洗衣服。要知道平时我连自己的衣服都不想洗。可帮他洗衣服时，我却是那样高兴，每一个地方都洗得那么认真，不放过任何一个细节。也许在他长大后我能颇自豪地对他说：“你小时侯的衣服是我辛苦帮你洗得，你一定要听我的话懂了吗？”而他呢，则会乖乖的拉着我的手听我说每一件事。这些听起来也许很可笑，但在我看来并没有丝毫的可笑之处，而只是感到幸福和快乐。当了14年的独生子女的我，突然有了个弟弟，那份喜悦是用言语形容不上来的。

就这样，在与弟弟的聊天中我度过了寒假，在认真帮他洗衣服时我度过了寒假。这次的寒假生活虽然平淡，甚至是千篇一律，但我十分享受这样的生活。看着他天天长大就好像看着自己小时候的成长过程，这并不是每个人都能体验到的。我享受这样的寒假生活，也爱这种平淡而又不同寻常的寒假生活。
