今年暑假，我不仅养成了每天都帮助妈妈做家务的习惯，还学会了一项新的本领——做饭。

记得有一天，妈妈突然发高烧了，起不了床，只能躺在床上休息。妈妈一生病，给我出了个大难题，所有的家务活没人做了，我连饭都吃不上了。平时，我只是帮妈妈做过一些简单的家务，还从来没做过饭，这下可犯了愁。看着妈妈难受的样子，又不忍心吵醒她，只能我亲自动手了。记得妈妈说过病人需要吃清淡的东西才有胃口，做什么好呢？想来想去，终于想起来了。“酸汤面条”清淡又开胃，我生病的时候，妈妈也给我做过，我很喜欢吃。

我学着妈妈平时做饭的样子，先把青菜择干净，放进清水里泡一泡，然后开始烧水。等青菜泡的差不多时，把它洗干净晾在菜筐里。妈妈说过，水烧开了才能下面条，面条煮5分钟左右放进调料就可以吃了。水烧开时会冒很大的泡泡，我就一会儿掀开锅盖看看，等着水开。终于冒泡了，我迫不及待的把面条放进了锅里，看着表煮了差不多5分钟时，我把青菜切碎放进锅里，又放了盐，醋和香油。关上火之后，我长舒一口气，赶紧找来碗筷尝了尝酸汤面条的味道，咸淡正合适，就是面条下多了点，汤太浓了，醋还放多了点，太酸了。没办法，只有这样先凑合吃了。我端了一碗给妈妈，妈妈感动的两眼泪花，夸我长大了。虽然第一次做酸汤面条，不是很成功，但我还是很开心的，因为我学会了做饭，还可以照顾妈妈了。

在妈妈生病那两天的时间里，我独自一人包揽了所有的家务，擦桌子，扫地，拖地，整理房间，洗衣和做饭。最欣慰的是做饭的水平，在妈妈的指导下，我进步很快，简单的饭菜我都会做了，非常有成就感。
