中山陵位于南京东郊钟山风景名胜内。它坐北朝南，面积8万余平方千米，是中国近代伟大政治家，革命先行者——孙中山先生的陵墓和纪念建筑群。从空中往下看，中山陵像一座平卧在地毯上的“自由钟”。陵墓入口处的高大的花岗石牌坊上，有孙中山先生亲手书写的“博爱”两个金光闪闪的大字。进入圆形的墓室，一眼可以望见中央的长形墓穴，上面是孙中山先生的汉白玉石像，下面安葬着他的遗体。

中山陵的气氛是庄重的，严肃的，舒缓下心情，我们再去新街口——南京最热闹，繁华的地区之一。

新街口到处都是高楼大厦，中央商场，大洋百货，得基广场，金鹰国际中心鳞次栉比。如果你不爱购物，是个“书虫”，那么“大众书局”肯定是你的最爱了。

玩累了，再乘车去夫子庙。租一条龙船，泛舟秦淮河，欣赏着两岸的风景，感受历史的熏陶。到了晚上，两岸商家小店的灯全打开了，流光溢彩，特别好看。上了岸，可以在四周逛逛，看看民间艺人那令人惊叹的手艺;或者，去“小吃一条街”瞧瞧，尝尝南京的特色小吃，准能让你大饱口福。

南京有太多地方可以游，有太多美景可以赏。如果让我用词形容一下南京，我想：应该会有成百上千个吧!
