我、爸爸和老爷爷不知疲倦的走在下山的路上。

我的家乡在扬州。

听妈妈说，在我出生之前，扬州老区的一些房子，都是一些又矮又破旧的老房子;房子之间铺陈着许多纵横交错的小巷子，小巷子窄的一次只可以通过一辆车。以前的马路坑坑洼洼，很不平整，车子一过，到处尘土飞扬。而那个时候人们喝的水都是从水井里打来的，据说井水清冽甘甜，至今老人们还经常念叨。

不过，所有的这些，都是很多年以前的事情了。

自打我出生之后，扬州飞速发展。

一栋栋高楼拔地而起，虽然扬州的高楼不如上海、北京的摩天大楼那样雄伟、那样密集，但是，和以前比起来，变化真是很大啊!

现在扬州的马路都是水泥路，很宽阔、很漂亮。

老区的老房子还是很老，不过已经得到修缮，而且修旧如旧，成为双东景区的组成部分。

现在我们的家庭生活也越过越好。一件件家用电器新鲜出炉，如：电视、冰箱、电脑、微波炉…….等许多电器;拥有汽车的人们也越来越多，许多汽车在马路上风驰电掣。

我爱蓝蓝的大海，我爱陡峭的高山，我爱姹紫嫣红的花草，我爱高耸入云的大树。但是，我更爱生我养我的家乡。因为那里一年四季景色迷人。
