我家有几只小乌龟，它们很可爱。

小乌龟的眼睛就像两颗黑宝石，三角形的嘴巴，短短的尾巴。它们的腿上有很多的肉，走起路来一摇一摆的。当小乌龟伸长了脖子的时候，你会发现小乌龟的脖子上也有一层肉，就像是小乌龟戴上了厚厚的围巾。

我没事的也会去逗逗小乌龟们，给他们喂一些食物。有一次我和平常一样丢下几颗龟食，以为它们肯定又会争先恐后的抢起来，但他们却将龟食踢来提去像是踢上了世界杯，各不相让。

Last week, when I passed a clothes shop, I was attracted by the beautiful

dress, so I asked my mother to give me money to buy one. But she refused me and

said that I could collect some money by helping her to do little work. I agreed.

So I started to clean the house and the dishes. Sometimes washed my father’s

car. Finally I got enough money.

I often go to see my grandma grandpa during my summer vacation.They are both seventy years old live in the country happily. Summer view of the countryside is very beautiful. I can do many interesting things there. I am used to getting up early in the morning, breathing the fresh air,listening to the birds singing, enjoying the green trees, red flowers the river. I like fishing with my friends. When night comes, I sit under the tree with my grandma, listening to her telling me many funny stories. And I tell her some new things happening in the city. When I have to go back,I am always reluctant to go. I really feel happy living in the country.

我经常去看望我的爷爷奶奶在我的暑假。他们都是七十岁住在乡下。夏天的乡下非常漂亮。我可以在那里做很多有趣的事情。我习惯早上早起,呼吸新鲜空气,聆听鸟儿歌唱,享受绿色的树,红色的花。我和我的朋友喜欢钓鱼。夜幕降临时,我和我奶奶坐在树下,听她讲动听的故事。我告诉她一些新的事情发生。当我不得不回去时,我总是不愿意去。我真的感到快乐生活在这个国家。

但是今天家里却来了一个不速之客——小黑狗。他全身都黑溜溜的，但帮他冲洗后，发现它只棕色的泰迪犬。这只粘人的狗，无不让人喜欢它。傍晚，爸妈回家发现它是非常惊讶，但他们都不同意让我羚羊这只无家可归的“小泰迪”这是我给他取的名字。

我不理解为什么他们不让我领养这只狗。妈妈告诉我，你还小，又要上学，无法妥善的照顾它。而且，你每天必须但他去散步、清理他的粪便、帮他洗澡还要打扫他的毛发，因为狗常换毛。我还是坚持要饲养它。没法说服我的妈妈只好让爸爸来说服我。所以爸爸语重心长的对我说：饲养它需花费你大量的时间看顾它，还要考虑它的食粮。

它生病时需要带它去看兽医，所以还需要花上一笔钱。如果饲养它，我们出远门时，要如何带上它?交给别人你放心吗?你确定要饲养它吗?在我三番考虑之后，我决定饲养它。

爸妈和我约法三章，要我每天带他到公园散步，妥善地清理它的粪便，三日之内必须洗一次澡，以避免生跳蚤。我开心地答应了这些条件，开始了我的养狗生活。这晚，我开心的入睡了。

As far as topics are concerned, the topics for classroom visits are generally determined by the professor, but most professors are very flexible. We have approximately thirty-five faculty members that teach courses in Asian Studies, ranging from language and culture to history and economics.

10 am - Cultural Exhibition opens

12 am - International Festival begins with a speech by the university president and an introduction of visiting dignitaries

1-5 pm - Opportunity to visit festival, interact with student performers, taste foods

6 pm - Dinner with Director of Mansfield Center Phil West, Ambassador Mark Johnson, and staff of Mansfield Center

今天，我们伴随着欢声笑语来到了中国的首都：北京！因此，我们的心情都无比地激动。

安顿好了住的地方，马上向伟大的八达岭长城进发，一路上，我们向小鸟一样叽叽喳喳的，好似完全不知道疲惫一样，大约半个小时，我们终于到达了“八达岭长城”我们来到售票处，到长城入口后，我看到了雄伟的万里长城，我的心咯噔了一下，天呐，那么高大，那么雄伟，根本就是世界奇迹嘛！游玩过长城以后，已是傍晚了，我们索性回到公寓休息。

第二天，我们因为要去看升国旗，所以3点就起床了，我们来到了天安门广场，这里非常的大，国旗杆后面是天安门城楼，那位伟大的毛爷爷所住过的城楼，我们不禁向它敬了个礼，看完升国旗以后，我们去了鸟巢和水立方，看到了很多国家运动员在鸟巢里训练，我真希望自己以后也能像他们一样！最后，我们去了著名的颐和园，看到了万寿桥和十七孔桥，还有慈禧太后所住的宫殿，真大，真宏伟啊，我们甚至还看到了一些明星。

时间飞速，不知不觉，又该走了，我们依依不舍的走出了颐和园。

虽然这次北京之旅只有2天，但是我永远都不会忘记，因为，它已经深深的印在了我的心里！

许多书都需要认真品读，自己遇到了管理困惑，认真研读了《规则定成败》这本书后，我深刻感受到了管理中规则的重要性，社会、企业、家庭都是由规则规范运作的，只是有些是明规则，有些则是潜规则。

在这本书里，说出了我的困惑，一直以来，西方管理学谈到的都是形而上的理论，身边接触的都是潜规则，尤其是许多管理者都是学而优则管，并没有系统性的学习，他们只是很聪明?深刻了解人性，对我而言，如何带好整个团队，如何让他们心甘情愿的做一些他们不愿意的事情，还真的是考验人性。

这本书中，规则是管理的抓手，如何制定合理可执行的规则，决定了管理是否顺畅，一方面是规则的设计，另一方面则是人性，还有如何面对潜规则。在规则的设计中，管理者一定要区别清楚例外和例行工作，这个也是我目前欠缺的，例行的工作要明确责任人，按时按步骤推进，长期出现的例外工作一定要从规则上找原因，抓核心和要点工作。

通过规定克服人性，在于管理者以身作则，如果说一套做一套，容易变成潜规则重于明规则，管理结果必将失败。规则制定并能够驱动人员执行，要明确责任，做好职位说明书，将企业核心利益链发掘出来并分解到人。

管理学书，需要常翻常用，知行合一。

在暑假期间，我又读了美国文坛作家格丽特·米切尔的长篇小说——飘，本书获得了1937年的普利策新闻奖，更是作者花费10年之久写出的经典，也是作者一部长篇小说，由本书改编的电影《乱世佳人》，在1939年上映后，获得了12项奥斯卡大奖。这是一部了不起的作品。

本书主要讲述了美国南北战争的前后，种植园主女儿斯嘉丽的爱情故事，本书情节变化较大，常有一些令人出乎意料的事件发生，并且融入了许多真实的历史事件，其中我有两个感触很深的情节。第一是斯嘉丽的父亲杰拉尔德老先生，骑着马在那扯着嗓门高唱，并且骑到另一头想跳篱笆，还对已逝去的妻子爱伦说：“爱伦，看我跳篱笆，”之后就倒地而亡，而在这之后，斯嘉丽的女儿美丽决定骑马跳更高的栏杆时，她大喊：妈，你瞧我的，这句话是斯嘉丽仿佛听见了马啼声与跟美丽相象的声音，爱伦，你瞧我的，但已经太晚了，美丽死了。

我觉得这本书成功的将南方人当时的生活状况体现出来，常常有许多充满爱的悲剧发生，如梅兰妮死时的嘱咐、杰拉尔德老先生死前的话语、美丽死前的快乐时光，让我很惊讶女主的坚强，虽有的惨状发生，但情节总是往好的方向走，让人联想起结尾的那句话，明天我会想个办法把他弄回来，必竟明天又是新的一天呢，正如白瑞德所说的，我们都在阴沟里，等着有人要望星空。

盼星星，盼月亮，终于等来了长长的暑假，我觉得今年的暑假非同一般，既没有出去旅游，又没有参加暑期班。我学会了有趣的游戏——玩五子棋。

今天夏日炎炎，我和爸爸一起去了购物中心。

爸爸说：“咱们玩五子棋淘汰赛，谁输了让别人跟对手下。”我和妈妈异口同声地说：“好”。

我和爸爸对阵时，爸爸特别厉害。每次都赢我，我想：我一定要下过爸爸。

第二盘，妈妈把爸爸打败了，我心里特别高兴。再看看爸爸，还不明白自己是怎么输的`，我对妈妈说：“爸爸终于输了。”

该我和妈妈下了，妈妈可能有点头昏脑胀，被我斜着五个棋子打败了。连你也不是我的对手，原来你可经常赢我。”我暗暗高兴。

我和爸爸下时，爸爸有点糊涂了。被我横着五个棋子打败了。我对爸爸说：“横着可是最好发现的，你怎么也输了，原来你们两个可是我的劲敌呀，经常赢我，今天怎么成了我的手下败将了?”“我是常胜将军，我是常胜将军，我胜了!”

通过下五子棋，我明白了：要想在下棋中取胜，要认真观察，动脑筋，注意力集中。由此想到学习也是这样，上课认真听讲，不做小动作，才能取得好成绩。

虽然多姿多彩的暑假生活已经过去，但是，我的脑海里时时浮现暑假所发生的事：我做了一个小小的实验，让塑料瓶飞上天空，在家学习，和爸爸在雨后去山上采蘑菇，和爸爸一起去爬山，和爸爸去菜园掰玉米等等。

那一天，爸爸叫上我，说带我去爬山，我们带了几瓶水就来到了后山山脚。鸟儿在树枝上呼唤我，大树在望着我们。我抬头向上看，感叹道：“好陡的山坡啊!”

我深深地吸了一口新鲜的空气，顿时感到神清气爽，我和爸爸开始爬山了，一阵微风吹来，山顶的大树摇晃着身体，给我们加油，因为坡度太大，我只能手脚并用，爬上了山顶。

我爬上了山顶，对山下的一切景物都一览无余：大大的池塘，各式各样的楼房，此起彼伏的大山，湛蓝的天空时不时地飞过一群小鸟，碧绿的田野时不时地飞出一两只白鹭。

我们该下山了，我依依不舍的与小鸟告别。

那天，菜园里的玉米熟了，爸爸叫我一起掰玉米，我来到玉米地旁，抓住玉米就往后扯，可是玉米丝毫不动，我使出全身力气却把玉米杆弄断了，玉米还是不下来。我便向爸爸请教。爸爸示范了一遍后，我知道了如何掰玉米——右手抓住玉米，双手抓住玉米杆，右手快速旋转玉米，在玉米快断了的时候，把玉米往后一拉，玉米就断了。我用这个方法掰了很多玉米。不知不觉玉米就掰完了。

我的暑假生活充满了酸甜苦辣咸，只要合理安排每一天，每一天都会变得丰富多彩。

在工作繁忙，日新月异的社会中，大常说“世风日下，人心不古”，心里想的却是“明天股票是涨停板”，于是遭殃倒霉的永远是我们未来的翁。

考试不好，要打!东西不丢掉，要打!上课讲话，要打!爱看电视，要打!喜欢玩电脑，要打!被班长记名字，要打!弄脏，要打!……等打，你哭，还要站在一边面壁思过哩!

大人会你：“我有错误，你尽可以提。”但真正有错的时候却说：“大人的事，你懂。”真是前后矛盾，莫名其妙。

希望大不要再乱打我们小孩拿小孩发泄怒气，希望大能爱护我们，保护我们，使我们有的`读书和生活的环境，让我们快乐的童年。

上午大约十点钟，我和妈妈还有她的几个同学一起驱车来到了王城公园门口，刚下车，一眼望去，黑压压的一片，尽是黑人头，真是人山人海，等着买票入园的游人早已排成了一条长龙，我们跟在长长的队伍后面，艰难地挪动着脚步，好不容易才买到了票。

一进大门，一股股沁人心脾的芳香扑鼻而来，循着香气走去，一望无际的牡丹尽收眼底。啊，太美了!片片碧绿的叶子衬托着一朵朵硕大鲜艳的牡丹花儿正在尽情地绽放，粉的像霞，白的如玉，红的似火，黄的流金……这些花朵可真大呀，花瓣密密层层，错落有致，颜色由里到外渐渐变淡，而花瓣则由里往外渐渐增大，花心大部分都是黄色的，像一根根细细的黄豆芽，成群的蝴蝶和蜜蜂在花丛中奔忙，发出嗡嗡的响声，人们一边赞不绝口地欣赏，一边不停站在花丛中拍照，我摆了不同形状的造型，逗得大家哈哈大笑。

我们观赏完牡丹花，又来到了动物园，那里有各种各样的动物，猴子、大象、长颈鹿、老虎等等，我还给猴子扔了好多食物呢!它还同手给我打招呼呢，真逗!但给我印象最深的还是孔雀开屏的场景，那颜色、形状真令我赞不绝口。

下午五点钟左右，我们恋恋不舍地离开了王城公园。但那里的一切将深深地刻在我的脑海里，令我终身难忘!

Dear Tom,

Im just writing to let you know that were all well, and I hope you are, too. Unfortunately, Ive got some rather bad news for you: Im afraid I made a bit of a mess of Johns car. Anyway, heres what happened.

We were on our way to Carols after a long party, and I suppose it must have been about eleven o’clock. Well, the last few miles back home were really dark and deserted. I now realize I was probably going a bit too fast for a country lane because, although the road was fairly straight, I drove up onto the curb and went into a tree.

Of course, John was absolutely furious and started shouting at me and cursing. After we d argued for a few moments, we decided to look at the damage, and he calmed down a bit. Well, we found we could move the car, but the wing was caught on the wheel, so we couldnt drive it. I tried to pull the wing clear, but I didnt succeed.

Anyway, John went off to phone for a breakdown lorry, but while he was away, I had another go at the wing and this time succeeded in pulling it right off. I threw it onto the back seat, and by that time John got back and we were ready to go?so we didnt need the breakdown lorry at all. John has more or less forgiven me now, but he was very angry with me for a few days. I suppose I was a bit careless.

Well, thats all for now. Next time I write I hope Ill have better news for you.

我的暑假生活多姿多彩，这是上学的最后的一天，老师刚刚宣布：从明天开始就放暑假了，同学们就大声的欢呼了起来！老师刚刚宣布完。暑假生活的计划便映入了我的脑海。慢慢地打开，进入了我的暑假计划之旅……

第一面：翻开暑假生活计划本2010年版的第一页，动笔刚要写，却左思右想不知写什么好，当我花费了n多个脑细胞以后，终于写满了暑假生活的第一面……暑假拥有着炎热，有很多人都在家里玩电脑、看电视、还扇着风扇，悠闲自在，我却觉得那样的人很无聊，而且还浪费电，为了节约资源，我决定：“我要在8月份的每天都执行着一个计划(特殊时间除外)”。每天早晨用来学习。中午吃过饭，帮妈妈洗一下碗，然后午睡1个小时，再起来写暑假作业10业。写完后就休息半个小时，在听读英语、数学、语文各一单元。剩余的时间是我玩的时间！我的暑假就是这么简单，这么轻松！

我不仅要学习，做家务，还要去外面体验一下现在的社会。所以我利用剩余时间去做社会实践，勤工俭学。赚来的钱可以用来买学习用品

回到家，我赶紧把我珍藏的六孔陶笛拿出来，迫不及待的地对着笛嘴呼呼吹气，顿时发出“”呜呜”声，然后按着do,re,mi,fa,sol,la,si的调子连成一段美妙的音乐。然后我就把六孔陶笛教程翻出来，慢慢看，慢慢地研究怎么吹奏。

陶笛吹奏时双手的拇指分别按住背面两个指孔，食指分别按住正面上两孔，中指分别按住正面下两孔。双手无名指，托住陶笛的下方用来稳定陶笛。这样在指孔全放开时，陶笛不会因此而滑落。

了解了这些之后，就开始按着简谱慢慢的吹奏了，刚开始练时总是管不住自己的手指，老是按错，还吹得上气不接下气，要不就是记不住那个孔发那个音，没有掌握正确的吹奏方法，吹出来的音含糊不清，软弱无力的。这时我的信心大受打击，怎么那么难吹啊!想放弃了又舍不得。

还好我没有放弃继续练习吹奏，凡事我遇到不会不理解吹奏的地方就上网查找视频，跟着视频里教学内容所讲解的步骤一步一步的练习吹奏。

真是功夫不负有心人，在我持之不懈的努力和如痴如醉的着迷下，我终于可以有模有样的.吹出来动听的乐曲了，别提有多开心了。我也终于明白任何成就都是刻苦努力劳动的成果，凡事都要付出努力，这样收获的结果自然是美的，甜的。

这就是我的一个充实的暑假生活，为了自己喜欢的事而刻苦努力。

I know that you welcome students from different countries and Id like to take part in it. Ive been learning English for 10 years, and I speak fluent English.
