How should parents help children to be independent ?

Nowadays, the number of single-child family is increasingly growing under the Family Policy. 爸爸，您在我心目中的形象是高大的，严肃的，但我却依然从一些小事中感受到您对我的爱。还记得我小时候吗，您常常开车带我出去，可我太小，受不了漫长的路途，总是在路上就睡着了，所以您就一只手开车，一只手挡在我前面，怕走到颠簸的地方我会一不小心掉下去。这件事虽然在我记忆中已经模糊，但就算只有一点依稀的印象，重温起来，也依然是使我感动。还有，每一次我考完试，您总会询问我的成绩，如果考得不好，您就批评我、教育我，引起我自己的深刻反思。爸爸，就算我走到天涯海角，也忘不了您的谆谆教导。

Now I know clearly that you both are expecting me anxiously. I can say
