Currently, some cities are considering a food ban on subways, which has sparked heated discussion. Some people say food should be banned because of the trash and rats they attract. And, garbage from discarded food can cause track fires. Beyond sanitary and mechanical concerns, food can also cause fights, as was discovered last week by one passenger who criticized a woman eating steamed stuffed bun on the subway.

However, some others are opposed to the idea. They argue that people like eating in the train in the morning because they dont have enough time to eat at their houses or restaurants. Sometimes that may be the only time or meal a transit rider may be able to eat especially when traveling long distances. Besides, there are people, for example diabetics, who do require food at various times to maintain blood-sugar levels.

Personally, Im against the ban because of the huge inconvenience it would cause to commuters, and the expense involved in enforcing it. Still, I believe we should have a little common courtesy. I think we all have responsibility to try to treat our subway system and fellow riders with respect, and that extends to food as well.

Nowadays, more and more college students are addicted to online games. Those games may be funny and exciting, but are very harmful to those addicts.

In my opinion, there are many disadvantages of game addiction.Firstly, online games take up a lot of players time for study. Many of the addicts found themselves forced to drop out of school for poor academic performance. Secondly, addicts tend to isolate themselves from the reality. On the second day, the Chinese pray to their ancestors as well as to all the gods. They are extra kind to dogs and feed them well as it is believed that the second day is the birthday of all dogs.

The third and fourth days are for the sons-in-laws to pay respect to their parents-in-law.

The fifth day is called Po Woo. On that day people stay home to welcome the God of Wealth. No one visits families and friends on the fifth day because it will bring both parties bad luck.

On the sixth to the 10th day, the Chinese visit their relatives and friends freely. They also visit the temples to pray for good fortune and health.

The seventh day of the New Year is the day for farmers to display their produce. These farmers make a drink from seven types of vegetables to celebrate the occasion. The seventh day is also considered the birthday of human beings. Noodles are eaten to promote longevity and raw fish for success.

On the eighth day the Fujian people have another family reunion dinner, and at midnight they pray to Tian Gong, the God of Heaven.

The activities in school are great.My teachers and classmates are friendly to me.For my parents,both of them are managers.They are always busy working.As for my ideas of going abroad to study, I think it is useful and wonderful if we have the chance to do so.I also would like to go abroad to study to improve myself.Thats all.Thank you.

每个人都有自己的美好梦想，梦想往往离自己的现实生活很遥远，很遥远。或许是根本无法成为现实。

但是，我认为人活在世上就应该有梦想，只要心里有梦想，你的人生才会更美，更有意义。我也有我自己的梦想。从小我便喜欢看一些古代破案类的，如《神探狄仁杰》、《宋慈传奇》等。现在，我还在看一些现代篇的如《迷雾重重》、《重案六组》等。我想你应该猜到了，不错，我的梦想就是当一名女刑警。记得在我四、五年级的时候，曾经问过妈妈：有没有一支专门抓小偷、抢劫犯等嫌疑人的女警察。妈妈说有，在北京有一支专门干这行业的女刑警。那时我一听到有，是多么地兴奋啊!也是多么渴望将来会有这么一天。以前，每当我看到电视中的刑警，身穿警服，执着手枪赶赴现场，就觉得他们穿着警服特别有精神，特别威武。还有一方面，就是现在小偷实在是太多了。

当刑警可以帮助人民解除危害。感化小偷等人，让他们改邪归正，让我们的社会变得大同社会，人人过得幸福快乐。当刑警还可以在人们遇到天灾、地灾等灾难时，赶到现场抢险救人，挽救生命。总而言之，刑警可以帮助人民解除许许多多的大灾难，让他们能够快快乐乐地生活在美好世界中。我知道干刑警这职业前的训练是很苦的，但我坚信一个成语――先苦后甜。只有先前的艰辛和努力，才会有将来的美好。刑警那种不怕牺牲、不怕艰苦，为人民那无私奉献的精神感染了我。在困难前面那沉着冷静、机智的头脑也深深吸引了我。

在复杂地情况下，他们能不盲目得下结论，能果断地做出正确的结论，也更加激起了我对这门职业地无限向往。虽然现在我与梦想相距很远很远，但是我会不断努力，朝着这个目标奋进，我相信终有一天我与梦想的距离会越来越接近。

Nowadays university graduates have different job outlooks. For most of them, to find a job with satisfactory pay is their most important wish while majority want to be self – employed. However, a certain number of graduates are not in a hurry to hunt for jobs. They are just waiting for better chances. Toward this point of view, some experts warn that it is not wise to be just waiting. They advise that graduates should find a regular, full-time job as quickly as possible so that they can earn money to support themselves and get working experience, which will help to find a better position later. Moreover, it might be more difficult to find a satisfactory job next year.
