由于独特地理位置，自古以来淮南的交通就很便利。一条淮河波浪翻，舟楫往来航运忙。淮河虽然是淮南几千年主要的交通航道，但这里还拥有过世界历史上最早有明确、系统、完整文字记载的陆路交通线——鄂君启节大道，它比著名的公元前321年修建的古罗马亚平大道还早11年。

1957年4月，在寿县东津乡出土的鄂君启节，是战国时楚怀王发给他的至亲在这条路上的通告符节(通行证件)，持此符节，不仅可以免税，还可享受沿途的接待。“鄂”是楚国的代称，楚在迁都寿春之前在湖北。鄂君启节大道从今天的凤台河东经寿唐关、郝家圩孜然后进入淮南，经李郢孜，园艺场入长丰到合肥。

如今，淮南的陆路交通线四通八达；铁路建设始于世纪30年代淮南煤矿开采期间，1936年淮南铁路（田家庵—裕溪口）的建成通车，成为沟通淮河与长江之间陆路运输的最例捷形式。50年代，淮南的铁路建设发展很快，建成了贯通全市东西的大（通）八（公山）线，全线设立了10座火车站（如今已发展为16座火车站）。70年代，随着阜（阳）淮（南）铁路的兴建，一座气势雄伟的公路铁路两用桥横跨淮河，成为千里淮河第一桥。

公路也是淮南与外界联系的重要通道，其中206国道是皖西地区去蚌埠、南京等地必经之路，也是淮南东部城市的主干道。纵横交织的公路网，把淮南和祖国的每一个城市都联系起来。

坐落于淮河岸边的淮南是开放的，它既能容纳南来北往的航船，也能吞哇轰鸣而来的火车，还能对四方友邻过境的汽车敞开胸膛，不自封，不守旧，使淮南能紧跟时代脉搏而不断前进。

我出生在河南郑州，我的家乡在河南开封杞县。这是一个风景优美，物产丰富的地方。一年四季的每一个季节我都有不同的感受。

当春天来临的时候，绿油油的麦田像给大地铺上了一层地毯，一阵微风吹过，像许多张纸在一起拍打的声音。桃红色的苹果花有的才展开几片花瓣，有的花瓣全展开了，有的还是花骨朵儿，看起来饱胀地马上要破裂似的。雪白雪白的梨花长得满树都是，粉红色的花蕊像一个个粉珍珠，非常好看。

当天气越来越热，进入夏季的时候，金黄色的麦子像一排排整齐的士兵，在等待勤劳的人们来收获。黄色的油菜花变成了果实，它的果实密密麻麻的长在杆上，像一根根针一样。

送走烈日炎炎的夏季，我们就迎来了金色的秋天。红彤彤的苹果挂在枝头上，有的躲在树叶后面，像是在玩捉迷藏，有的很害羞，不想让人看见。黄橙橙的梨子挂在树上，像一盏盏金色的灯笼。

当秋天与我们告别的时候，冬爷爷就来了。树枝上光秃秃的，没有一片树叶，就像来到一片银色的世界里。一群小朋友在堆雪人、打雪仗，玩得特别开心。

家乡的四季是美丽的，每个季节都有不同的活动，这里是一个非常让人喜欢的地方。

Welcome to my hometown!

My home town is a good place .

It is near a hill. There are many big trees、beautiful flowers and nice food.

There is a shopping mall in the centre of the town.There are many shops in the shopping mall.Such as: clothes shops 、shoe shops、sports shops and KFC.It also has a park.You can go walking there .You can see green trees and lakes ,too.

There is little air pollution,because cars cant go into the centre of the town.

Peple here are very friendly and helpful .

I think my home town is a wonderful place to live.
