My hometown is beautiful place It stands near a wide river at the foot of low green hills. It has many tall buildings and wide streets. There are trees and flowers everywhere.

But it has not always been like that. In the old days, it was a sad dirty little town. Landlords and merchants lived in the few good houses. For the working people there were only dark, unhealthy rooms in old buildings and huts in narrow muddy streets. Nearly everyone was poor and many had no work.

Everything has changed since liberation. The people, led by the Party, have got rid of the mud and dirt. They have put up schools, theaters, shops and flats. 我的家乡住在开封，那是闻名中外的七朝古都。有许多名胜古迹，禹王台、繁塔、象铁塔、延庆观等，最有名的古建筑还数龙亭。

今天我就给大家讲一下龙亭，传说龙亭是大宋朝皇帝赵匡胤登基的地方。已经经历了一千多年的风风雨雨，名扬天下，是开封的城市标志。每天都有很多人从世界各地来这里参观游览。龙亭大殿坐北朝南，坐落在高高的深红色基台上，雄伟高大。有许多台阶，上去一次要费很大劲，所以皇帝是骑马上去的，现在还有当年的马蹄印呢。站在龙亭大殿向前看，能看到开封市的全貌。

Sichuan is located in the Upper Yangtze Valley in the southwestern part of the country. My name is xxx. I am graduate from ________ senior high school and major in ________. There are ________ people in my family. My father works in a computer company. And my mother is a housewife. I am the youngest one in my family.

In my spare time, I like to read novels. I think reading could enlarge my knowledge. As for novels, I could imagine whatever I like such as a well-known scientist or a kung-fu master. In addition to reading, I also like to play PC games. A lot of grownups think playing PC games hinders the students from learning. But I think PC games could motivate me to learn something such as English or Japanese.

My favorite course is English because I think it is interesting to say one thing via different sounds. I wish my English could be improved in the next four years and be able to speak fluent English in the future.

Great Changes in My Hometown I used to live in a small town with trees all around. There was no tall building and the only street was narrow. Just outside the town， there was a river. You can see different kinds of fish swimming in the clear water. People here lived a simple life. Great changes have taken place here. You can see tall buildings， big department stores and factories everywhere. Different kinds of cars and buses are running in the big streets. But with the development of the industry， we have fewer trees. Air and water pollution is becoming more and more serious. We must do something to stop pollution and make our town even more beautiful.

社会经济突飞猛进，人们的生活也时刻变化着。

一踏进这条街便给人一种生机与活力的感觉，让人精神焕发，一种泌人心脾的香气扑鼻而来，哦！原来是新街在向我打招呼呀！

躺在地下的油漆呀，你们可比以前强壮了，身上竟完好无损，以前，你们身上出出时伤，你们把青春献给了人类，无数的行人踏着你们行走，尽管有些狠心的火车在你们身上压过，你们为了这神圣的事业，总是默默无闻，任劳任怨，我知道当沉重的大车“呼”的一下过去时，您一定很痛，看，不知是谁残忍地将伤疤又刻在了您的身上，而您却……至今您终于迎来了回报，人们的心有所改变了，他们被您的精神所感动，他们开始用他们的行动来报答您们了，你门将陪人类永远走下去……

焕发光彩的墙啊，你们为多少人遮风挡雨，为多少人撑起了一片小天地，又为多少人创造了一个个温馨舒适的家，你们由一层破旧单薄的衣裳变为炫目华丽的大衣，闭了眼，一想想不到您以前的面庞了。

对了，还有路灯哥哥，以前你总是很消沉，时常阴天，弄的这片地方总是黑漆漆的，甚至被一些心肠太坏的人谋杀，随着“砰”的一声，路灯哥哥不再陪伴着我们，他离开了人世，现在呢？现在路灯哥哥有了三头六臂，每天都笑得很灿烂，人们也不再去伤害他们了，他们每天都神采奕奕的。

我与大树来了个亲密接触——我们相互搂抱，我觉得他们比以前更强壮为武了，可谓顶天立地，无论你身在这个村庄的任何一个角落，都会看见大树哥哥的身影，都会为你撑起一片绿荫，你看，有个小朋友，正在扶起一棵外倒的小树，小树笑了，小朋友也笑了。

坐在绿荫下，踏在大街上，倚在高墙上，走在光明下，感觉真好啊！

春天，我的家乡暖洋洋的，到处生机勃勃。冰和雪都融化了，形成了一条条美丽的小溪，叮咚叮咚地流向远方。有的小朋友拿着铁锹提着小桶，拿着树苗，手拉手去公园植树。

夏天到了，太阳火辣辣照着大地，怕热的小朋友们穿着短衫短裤，拿着冰棒，在尽情享受那冰凉的味道；有的小女孩还穿着美丽的裙子来显示自己的婀娜身姿；有的爱美的人只躲在屋里开着空调，防止中暑或晒黑了自己。

又到了秋天，人们种的果树什么呀都成熟了，棉花朵朵白，大豆粒粒饱，高梁涨红了脸，稻子笑弯了腰，田野上空一群群大雁扇动着翅膀向我们招手告别呢！

冬天的驻马店就更美了，雪花纷纷从天上落下，像白色有蝴蝶在空中飞舞，可乐坏了小朋友们，他们在雪地上堆雪人打雪仗，弄得全身湿漉漉的，但却冒着热气，一直都不觉得冷。

my hometown, a village locating beside a small river, is a wonderful place with beautiful scenery surrounded. because of the poor geographical environment and without an asphalt road, the whole village is poor and people’s lives are tough. generally, people grow rice and some other crops for a living. most young people work at the city, leaving their parents and children at home, which is the status of the vast majority of rural area. it seems that only in this way can rural people live a better life.

二十年后，当我从异国回到了家乡，我惊呆了家乡的变化。

家乡的小路变了，原来弯弯曲曲的泞泥小路如今变成了高速公路。人们坐着车子高速的行驰，来往是多么的迅捷。

小路变了房子也变了。那一座座低矮的平房不见了，展现在大家面前的是鱼鳞般的高楼大厦，由电梯连接。楼层之间有着很大的活动室，在那有着游泳池、乒乓球桌，羽毛球坛……聚满了老人，他们正热烈的活动着，那开朗的姿态让人们觉得是那么充实、活泼。

练江荡涤了污浊，改变了苍蝇漫天飞的丑态，呈现在我们面前的河水是那么的澄碧清楚青翠。棵棵杨柳倒影水中，泛着波纹跳着美丽的舞蹈。边上的小花，也应和着，与蓝天碧水够成了一道美丽的风景。

回到母校，我惊诧于塑胶操场代替了简单的雪白墙壁，同学们正热闹的在操场上做着游戏，见到我这个昔日校友的到来，争先恐后的围聚过来热切的询问：“姐姐，你从哪儿来?”“我从异国来呀!”我微笑着回答，“我这次来是为了看我的母校。”欢笑中，走来了一位青春貌美的大姑娘，我仔细一瞧，原来是好朋友SWEET啊，她也是大学毕业后回母校参观的。

见到好朋友，我和小同学道了声别，开始了我们的参观行程，也追忆起了我们曾经的拥有。先前撑阴的大树，现在更加高大茂盛了，飘扬的五星红旗正在微风中伸展，似乎在向我说：“欢迎你回来!”……

二十年后，家乡变得更美、更迷人了!

我的家乡在山东省东营市广饶县。

我们这里土地宽广肥沃，环境优美。我们这里有各种蔬菜大棚，“王乐义无公害蔬菜”畅销国内外，我们这里的“华泰造纸厂”远近    闻 名，我们还是戏剧“吕剧”的发源地，就连胜利油田的“热采矿”也在我们这里扎了根。此外这里还有特产“大蒜”“肴驴肉”呢我们这里条条大路宽又广，道路两旁是整齐的树木和绿油油的庄稼，还有工厂和高楼大厦。县内有通往济南的小清河，还有新建的孙武湖。
