Many animals are in danger of dying out. As is shown in the chart, we can

see the number of animal species decreases faster and faster and this trend will

continue. From 1980 to 2010, at least 1 million animal species have disappeared.

Worse still, more and more wild animals are in great danger. It is not a piece

of sensational news; it is a fact, a harsh reality. Unfortunately, we may not

see these animals in the near future.

From the second picture, we can find some reasons. Why is the number of

animal species declining year by year? Apparently animals have become victims of

fashion industry. Animal skin has been used to make fashionable clothes and

these clothes sell at a high price. So some greedy people begin to kill animals

in a large quantity. This irresponsible behavior not only breaks the balance of

nature but also endangers the living environment of human beings.

As far as I am concerned, something must be done to stop this illegal

action. We believe "no buying, no killing". First, we must make concerning laws

to protect these animals in danger. Second, we must take some measures to

protect animals effectively. Animals are our friends and part of our

environment. Third, we should raise peoples awareness to protect animals and

our environment. In this way, we can build a harmonious society and ensure a

sustainable development.

Do you think what is the most important in your life? Maybe some answers

are dreams. I may directly answer “lovers”.

In my opinion, lovers not simply mean your partner of life, but the people

you love: your parents, husband or wife, children and friends. I have a happy

life because of their company. I even can’t imagine the life without them.

Thanksgiving Day falls on the fourth Thursday of November every year. It is

the most truly American of the national Holidays in the United States. It is a

time for sharing. In the United States, it is their tradition that family

members get together for a reunion to have a traditional big dinner. On the

dinner table, people will find apples, oranges, chestnuts, walnuts and grapes.

There will be plum pudding, mince pie, other varieties of food and cranberry

juice and squash. The best and most attractive among them are roast turkey and

pumpkin pie. Although it is the traditional festival of America, it reminds us

of appreciation.

Recently, I saw a piece of news on the newspaper. This news has a picture

matched. The picture shows that a young lady sitting on the seat of a bus. But

it is strange that an old lady sits on the leg of the young lady, which there

are still many empty seats on the bus. I am totally moved after reading this

news. The old lady is the mother of the young lady. The old lady had some

problem with her back and leg that she couldn’t sit independently. And her

daughter does not want to see her mother stand on the bus in such an old lady,

so I see situation on the picture. Having read this, my eyes become wet. When we

are young, our mother will often carry us if there is any inconvenient, but when

our mother gets old, we seldom carry her.

The ancients had a saying: dripping, the smallest favor. In this world,

there are many people who grace to us. Our parents are the two people who give

us most grace. When we grow up, we need to say our thanks to them. As far as I

am concerned, thanks the people do good to us, especially our parents should be

the theme of our Chinese Thanksgiving Day.

军训，大概一提到这两个字眼，大家都不会有什么好感吧，大家就只会想到了一个字——“苦”，而我觉得军训是苦，可是也能让人苦中作乐啊。

前一个星期，我就去军训了，现在我就与大家分享一下，我的军训生活吧。

记得出发的那天早上，我们这一个个还沾点小学生气息的初一新生，拉着、背着一个个沉甸甸的旅行包来到了青少年活动中心，一个个满脸的兴奋与新奇，呵呵，我的军训生活就这样开始了。

第二天一大早，我们就起床去开会了，待全体坐下来，军官就开始啰唆了，过了两个小时，同学们早已腰酸背痛，才开始介绍教官，同学们这才提起精神来，“一班，苏教官”我们英俊的教官走出来，向我们敬了个军礼，然后笔直地站在我们的前边。苏教官严肃地说：“以后，我就是你们的教官，每天早上6点起床，8点训练，好了，现在跟我去训练场吧。”啊?这简直是雪上加霜嘛，刚刚坐得腰酸背痛，就要训练?唉……此时，烈日当空，我们休息立正向后转，汗流浃背，体能消耗极快。第二天的重复让人更是痛苦，中间休息时，大家似乎已经虚脱了，一个个东倒西歪的，一动也不想动。“集合!”——这那是亲人解放军，简直就是法西斯。“教官啊教官，您让我们再休息一会吧!”“这是，没价讲，集合!”唉……

军训苦是苦，可休息时教官教我们唱军歌，也是挺快乐的，比如，《我们是一个兵》、《团结就是力量》、《一二一二》《打靶归来》……每当唱起歌都激荡起我的爱国情怀，让我们苦并乐着……

早上，我们得早早地起床，训练时，立正稍稍动一下，你就得准备“领奖”——一个横踢屁屁。那时日光很烈，教官就好好给我们“享受”了日光浴……

几天一晃就过了，我们已经学会很多军姿。汇完操后，我们就带着依依不舍的心情离开活动中心了。再见了，中心，再见了，可敬的教官……

这年终夏，阴雨连绵，大雨不仅带走了我对大城市重点高中的无限向往，也为我带来了无言的军训和506分的中考成绩，与此同时也给了我改变一生的机会。

早就听说军训不是一般的苦，特别是集宁的教官，绝对地不近人情。可是没办法，就算去不了内蒙首府，我也不该在丰镇这片小地方就此沉沦啊!于是我一咬牙，心一横，独自一人踏上了通往异乡的火车。

军训来了，无声无息的来了，没有一点前兆，我知道我已无路可逃，只好自己孤身一人面对。然而当教官以其和蔼的面目出现时，我的心不禁的怔了一下。怪了!这教官怎么不像书上写的?不是该怒目圆睁，先来个下马威嘛!此刻，我对教官的印象有了些改变。军训的第一天，很苦很累，在烈日底下站了半个多小时军姿，还练着小学生都会的稍息立正。一回到宿舍就抱怨着军训。接下来的几天，几乎每天都是这几项，还多加了一些节目，比如唱军歌之类的。有一天，学校请了塔琳学姐(乌兰察布市文科状元)给我们讲学习的方法，有一句话，让我的人生从此有了方向。那天，学姐说：“坚持就是在坚持不下去的时候再坚持一下。”如果说军训给了我顽强的意志，那么塔琳学姐的话就可以说是给了我坚定的信念。之后的军训，我不在抱怨苦了，因为我惊奇的发现，我长大了，真正的长大了，不会再因为一点点小挫折而消沉了。

军训完了，我们全校一起去拉练，徒步走了30公里，这一刻，我蓦然发现，我们已经学会像军人一样面对困难，像军人一样成长。

感谢军训，感谢塔琳，中考只是人生路上的一个小小的羁绊，未来还有更多困难等着我们，不因失败而一蹶不振，不因成功而固步自封，我们的将来把握在自己手中!

because of it, the flights have to be canceled. All kind of transports may run

into each other, resulting in much damages and lots of injuries.

As far as I am concerned, it is high time that we did something. As

individuals, we should ride the underground or buses instead of cars to reduce

carbon dioxide. As government, more measures should be taken by carrying out the

related law on pollution.

In summary, we’re all looking forward to breathe fresher air and live a

happier life. Everyone should be a part of this job.

Nowadays, house husband has become a hot phenomenon in modern society. As

we all know that no matter what country, it’s a tradition that men play a core

role in family who always take the burden to earn money to support their family.

But things are kind of different as society develops, more and more men are

beginning to take over housework while women go out from house. In my point of

view, I think this is not a big deal.

In the first place, house husband may be a shame title for men, but when it

comes to money, there is no room for reputation. As society develops, the life

standard are rising, and everything for living is much expensive than before, if

couples want to guarantee their life quality, then they should let the one who

earn better to work, although the one is female.

In the second place, it’s fine for women to support family as long as they

earn better than men. In the past, women always were treated very badly, and

they got no rights to be educated, to work. In some countries, they can’t even

show their face to others. A traditional female role is to stay at home, taking

care of children and do all of the housework. But now, lots of women have a good

job, so that they totally have the ability to be the economic backbone.

Therefore, in order to take good care of family, men are likely to stay at home

to do housework. I don’t think it’s a shame for men, because no matter what you

do, as long as you do it well, you are successful.

To sum up, people should change their opinion about core role of a family.

It’s acceptable for women to support the family, and there is no shame for men

to do the housework. As long as you remember life quality comes first.

我们来到部队，满怀希望的开始了我们的军训生活。然而，现实的残酷似乎令我们始料未及。

首先，想家的痛苦时刻萦绕在心头。有时候真的觉得自己很不坚强，刚刚过了十x岁的生日，却在军营中因为想家管不住泪水的闸门。其次，内务的摆放成了使我们头痛的大问题。今天说是有首长来检查，弄得我们赶紧手忙脚乱的打扫，还是得不到首长的认可，只得几度翻工。吃饭的速度要求似乎也在日益苛刻，15分钟的时间也许永远不够我们慢悠悠的品尝饭菜的好坏。我们也顾不得什么斯文，把东西一个劲的往嘴里塞。我们是来军训的，训练的艰苦自然不必多说，站在烈日下细数自己脸角掉落的汗珠，全当自娱自乐吧。

我不禁有点迷茫了。面对军训，我们究竟需要什么?

教官说：“军营里面没有女人，只有兵。”

可见，面对军训，我们需要勇气。

敢于直面困难的勇气，敢于挑战别人的勇气，都要在我们的身上体现。

不要承认自己比别人差，只要用心去做，我摁可以做得和别人一样好，甚至比别人更好。不要因为自己是女孩子，就认为自己做不到男孩做的事，其实大家并没有什么不同。拥有面对困难的勇气，昂起头来，让困难得旋风呼啸而至，我们将笑脸相对。

老师说：“凡事不要摆空架子。”

to the topic “How to live a meaningful life”, the opinions are divided. In

someone’s eyes, they agree that a meaningful life is just a comfortable life

which means they can enjoy themselves as possible as they can.

However, personally in my view, if we spend our whole life in pursuing

things only for ourselves, we will surely let ourselves down when we look back.

There’s an old saying that goes “The greatest use of life is to spend it for

something that will outlast it”. I can’t agree more. If there is a way to avoid

a disappointed life, it should be to try our best to find meaningful things

which can also make contributions to the whole society. Even a single man can

make a big difference to the world. Not to mention that everyone get together to

bring changes to the society.

It’s high time that we took measures to experience a meaning life. What’s

more, it’s never too late to start a meaning life. So be yourself, enjoy your

happiness and be helpful to others. That’s the meaning life worth living.

第二天，严格的训练开始了，先是站军姿。“立正，站立五分钟!”教官扯着嗓子向我们吼道。于是，我们双脚并拢，挺胸收腹，双眼平视前方，大家都像电线杆似的笔挺地站在地上，一动也不敢动。短短的几分钟就如同过了几个小时。我的脚渐渐酸软无力，我真想放弃，可是我用余光瞟了瞟四周的同学，他们个个坚定地站着。于是，我心里念着：“坚持就是胜利……”只听教官一声“解散”，我们长长地舒了一口气，终于坚持下来了。

绿色学校的军训生活虽然短暂，但却给我们每一个参训的学生留下了深刻的印象。通过军训，我明白了什么是坚强的意志，什么是团结的力量。在这里，我们锻炼了体魄，磨炼了意志。解放军叔叔的精神将激励着我们在成长的道路上克服一个又一个困难。

提起军训这个词，每个人或多或少都有一些自己的感受，有的人觉得军训是个漫长而又辛苦的过程;有人则认为军训只不过是学校安排的一种随大流的形式，随随便便蒙混过关就行;而我则认为军训意味着一种责任，一种态度，更是一种担当。

军训刚开始，我们就学了站军姿，抬头，挺胸，十指夹紧贴于裤缝，还要身体夹紧，退挺直，全身处于紧绷状态，真的很难受。然后在训练其他东西的同时，我们得喊口号，有时会因为喊口号不齐而被罚，嗓子都哑了。可是教官"一二一"，"立定"，"稍息"，"齐步走"......一遍又一遍反复着的声音，嘶哑又带着疲惫，可他们仍然的认真改正我们的每一个动作，这一切都激励着我们要严格要求自己。

炎炎烈日下，我们奋力挥洒汗水，却无怨无悔。尽管高温难耐，但我们都尽力的团结合作，步伐整齐，因为我们都知道我们的坚持。

军训期间有一项繁琐的任务就是整理任务，哪些细节让人头痛，像我这种一直随意的人，这可是一项重大的挑战。尤其是叠被子，每天在这上面花的时间可不少，总算是差强人意。只能在心中默念"坚持"然后继续奋斗，军训期间，虽然训练辛苦，但我们收获的知识与情感也很多，也开始了独立的生活，每到累到想要放弃时，想到家人与朋友

的关心与问候，心中充满了温暖与动力，虽然身体很疲惫，但心却十分满足。

当哨声在我耳边响起时，这不是哨声而是一种警醒，在督促我勇敢前行，尽管军训艰苦，但它更多让我学会坚强。古人语"天将降大任于斯人也，必先苦其心志，劳其筋骨。"这几天的军训生活，我深深的领略到了"令行禁止"的真谛，更懂得了"只有坚持到最后才是成功者"，军训让我明白了团队合作的重要性。军训思来苦后甜，人苦励志趁少年。让我们以一个军人的姿态来严格要求自己，争取做到最好的自己。

军训这几天，我学到了太多，不仅学到了遵守纪律的重要性，而且还知道了要把纪律放在心上，要有责任感，要用于为自己做的是负责，而且让我知道了自己的弱点与不足，并清楚地知道了自己的渺小，让我确定了自己的目标，我不会忘记这一段的记忆。

那时的我还在上五年级，记得有一次，放了两天假。回到家里，我把书包往沙发上一扔，心想：已经上了五天课了，这次作业又不太多，可以好好的玩两天了。想到这里，我便大摇大摆的走出家门，兴冲冲的去找邻居家的孩子玩了。就这样，一天很快过去了。第二天，我坐在电视旁，津津有味的看着精彩的节目，直到傍晚，我才想起那繁重的作业不禁心急如焚，可又能起到什么作用呢?无奈，我只能拼命赶作业了。一样又一样，一科又一科，一笔又一笔。却不知流失了多少秒，不知流失了多少分，不知流失了多少时。这时，我才真正体会到“光阴似箭，日月如梭”这句话的含义。直到深夜十二点，我才潦潦草草的写完了作业，而老师留的预习任务我却完全忽略了。第二天上学时，我极不情愿的起了床，顶着黑眼圈慢吞吞的往学校走去。当我推开门，面对着同学们惊愕的目光时，我清楚的知道：自己来晚了。当我尴尬的坐在座位上时，才发现老师已经将课文讲到一半了。

由于昨晚没有预习，又加上今天没听课，我一直以为轻而易举的课程竟然变得举步为艰，就在这时，老师点名让我回答问题，我一时间大脑一片空白，站起来支支吾吾不知所措，打乱了同学们沉浸在课文的境界。同学们全部转过头来盯着我，好似在责备我打扰课堂秩序。随之我听见了同学们的窃窃私语，以及一阵阵低笑声，顿时，我的眼泪又涌了出来。虽然，同学们没有嘲笑我，没有讽刺我，但我却感到异常难过，心里像扎了根针似的。我感到深深的自责，感到深深的惭愧。我懊悔，如果不贪玩该多好;我惭愧，如果趁早预习该多好;我更难过，如果珍惜时间该多好!

转眼间，时光飞逝，那一次，使我懊悔不已，使我终生难忘也使我懂得了珍惜时间。一寸光阴一寸金，寸金难买寸光阴，我们一定要珍惜时光，把握住美好的今天!

人的一生，不知道经历过多少个“第一次”，中间包含了许多快乐与汗水，也让我渐渐成长。而军训的经历像夜空的繁星一样灿烂炫目。

星期一的早上，我怀着无比激动的心情来到学校，在校门口跟同学们和老师等待车的到来。车一来同学们一个个挤上车，然后车像飞机一样飞到南雅的房村。当我一下车，发现这儿四面环山，空气格外新鲜。

接下来的几天，教官对我们是十分严格，要求我们要有认真的态度。集合时，站着军姿，不能东张西望，眼睛看着前方，连身子也要一动不动，如果小虫子咬你一口，也要忍住。每当教官一命令，我们就要像听话的小战士一样收腹、挺胸、抬头，目视前方地站好。有一次，教官让我们站好军姿五分钟，一动都不能动。大家都觉得这有什么难，我们都可以站半个小时。可这站军姿可难极了，在火辣辣的太阳下，我们都觉得非常炎热，有些人还觉得全身很痒。这样许多人都坚持不住由笔直的松树变成歪树，动了一下!被严厉的教官发现了，一个接一个的被点名罚站。没到一分钟都站了二十多个人，让我们觉得非常害羞。教官用洪亮的声音对我们说：“站好来，没站好就要罚站。”我只好努力做好，才通过了站姿这一关，让我觉得当个军人可真难。

当然，教官也很关心我们。在我做得好的时候，教官会让我们玩一些好玩的项目。我觉得最好玩的是做肉饼。一开始，我们先拿起面团把肉包在面团里面。再拿面杆把面团压扁。然后用面杆的另一端弄两个洞就好了。最后，给肉饼师傅放进炉子里烤，肉饼就完成了。我轻轻咬上一口，那香喷喷的味道，顿时让之前的苦和累消失的无影无踪。

在短短五天的军训中，我们学到坚持就是胜利的道理。下一次，我们相信会做得更好，因为吃苦的精神已经在心中生根发芽。

International Women’s Day. In China, the women’s day also called “March 8th”day.

Why we celebrate women’s day? There is a long story.

On March 8th, 1909, the Women’s Union of Chicago demonstrated against the

inequality between men and women. They demanded that they should have the same

payments, the same working hours as men had, and they should have the rights to

vote. They even put forward a slogan: Bread and Rose, which stood for equal

payment and a better living standard. This demonstrated had caused international

attention to the women’s rights. A year later, a critical meeting was held in

Demark, in order to promote the women’s liberation and equal rights, the council

members decided to establish the Women’s Day on March 8th. Then March 8th, 1911

just became the first Women’s day.

In our country, during the women’s day, the women usually have a day-off

holiday. The communities or companies will organize the recreational activities

such as a spring outing, a nice dinner and some extra welfare. On this special

day, the women can really realize that a woman’s value is not only giving birth

to a child, doing endless housework, but also find her own status in the modern

society. That is she can make a different. She can do everything that a man can

今天是军训第一课——练习站军姿。在绿荫掩映的走道上，我们按照教官的要求调整身姿。同学们顿时变得精神抖擞，朝气蓬勃。三伏天的太阳如火球般烘烤着大地，热浪滚滚，没过一会儿，我就汗流浃背了，豆大的汗珠从额上滚落又滑进衣领，而衣服早已变得粘乎乎的，湿漉漉的，似乎刚从水里捞起来。腿脚也不听使唤了，只觉得像踩在棉花上，软软的。时间就像一只蜗牛，缓缓爬行，就是不肯快点走``````十分钟过去了，二十分钟过去了，望着身边依旧站得笔直的同学们，我咬着牙，和她们一样，没有抱怨，没有放弃，只有坚持，再坚持``````

在三伏天，在烈日下，我们不再是温室的花朵，而是那一排排青松，挺拔笔直。

Trees are very useful to people. They provide us with wood and other

products. They give us shade and they help to prevent drought and floods.

Unfortunately， in many parts of our country， people havent realized the

importance of trees. They cut them down at will. They are usually too lazy or

too careless to plant and look after new trees. As a result， the forests

continue to disappear.

Where there are no trees the rain falls on the surface， causing floods， and

carries away with the rich topsoil， in which crops grow so well. When all the

topsoil is gone， nothing remains but worthless deserted.

The big floods of 1998， in parts of China， have already taught us a good

lesson. So every one of us must love trees， protect forests， and keep on

planting trees each year.

在有序的“1，2，3，4…”的呐喊声中，新高一的军训正式拉开了帷幕。大家站成有序的方队，在烈日的照射下，开始了新的征程。

军训是一种身体上的磨练。在熊熊烈日下，在毫无遮挡和保护的情况下，那太阳直愣愣地从头到脚找遍了你的全身。额头的汗水顺势而下，只听“吧嗒”，滴在了地上，以迅雷不及掩耳之势在刹那间已悄然蒸发，只留下淡淡的痕迹。背上的汗水顷刻间湿透了衣服，那衣服无助地耷拉在背上，似乎也在抱怨着这炎炎夏日与残酷的军训。脚底不是感到一阵又一阵的疼痛，那是大地在咆哮，向你传递着热的信息。立正站好的我们犹如热锅上的蚂蚁却丝毫不能动弹，只好顽强忍受着这灼烧。这样的军训难道不苦吗？

军训是一种意志上的磨练。在军训中我们懂得了坚持，学会了专注，更明白了团结真正的含义。我们如同小鹰在被丢下悬崖的霎那学会了飞翔，就如丑小鸭在颠沛流离中变成了白天鹅，我们长大了。

走入军训，才深刻体会到军营中严明的纪律和军人的风格，才了解到那英勇挺拔的身姿是在这点点的汗水中磨练出来的。每一件事情要成功都不是那么容易的，要成功就要付出汗水，要成功就要经受住一次又一次的考验。不轻言放弃，这是一个军人拥有的品质，也是我们应有的品质。

还记得同学说，我正在用我的汗水给花草浇水呢！是的，我相信这些花草在我们的汗水的灌溉下一定会长的更加强壮，更加经得起风吹雨打。

新的学期又开始了，我怀着愉快的心情迈入湄江中学。

我听老师说，开学这个星期，要我们这些初一新生进行军训活动，我们心理特别高兴。

我们排着队来到武警中队，看见武警那些整齐的动作，同学们鼓起了掌。我心理油然而生出一种敬佩之情。之后，我们还参观了武警的房间，令我大吃一惊的是那被子，折叠得方方正正，没有一点丝皱纹。休息过后，认识教官，教官不高不矮，很幽默、风趣。教官先教我们第一个动作——立正。我一听，暗笑：“这么容易的动作，教官还教。”教官先教我们手形怎样放，我们一点也不严肃，总是嬉皮笑脸的，结果被站了十几分钟，我才知道，原来这个动作是那么难的，现在脚都站酸了，军训还没有结束，不知谁脚痒，动作不正，教官喊道：“嘿，胖子给我站好。”过了许久，上午的军训总算是结束了，大家叫苦连天：“这个礼拜怎么熬过去啊。”下午，雨下了起来，我们在球场站了半个小时，一些同学晕倒过去，解散后，我们回到教室，教官教我们唱歌；“咱是当兵的人，有啥不一样……”唱着，唱着，这首歌，让我想到军人时刻不思念故乡，但为了保卫祖国，驻守边疆，无暇回乡。这种精神是多么感人啊！

四天的训练下来了，我们以前不认真的坏毛病得以改掉。星期五那天，全体新生要汇操演，我们的教官说：“这次汇演，你们要打起精神来，认真表演这套动作。”

表演完毕，可惜我们班名落孙山，个个愁眉苦脸。教官鼓励我们说：“输了不要紧，失败乃成功之母吗。”我们连连点头。

军训结束了，我们恋恋不舍送走教官。
