The Gift of the Magi is a short story wrote by O.Henry.This story tells that in the day before Christmas,a poor young couple exchanged gifts by sold the most precious thing of each,but resulted ordetracted, the two precious gifts all became useless things.While they got the most precious thing than any material objects——love.

After read this story,I learned how to respect others love and how to love others.In this story,they all lost the most valuable things——Jims golden watch and Dellas beautiful hair. Behind this, I saw they loved each other infinitely.They loved their family, they let me feel that cold Christmas Eve has become the warm heaven just because of their gifts. If Della only took one dollar and eighty-seven cents to pick gift,this story will probably lacking of shocking, and also cannot cause readers thinking.

In this materialistic society, people often use money to measure gifts.When bags of gifts which are packaging delicately in front of us,what can we see except empty and blank? Parents feel happy because of our simple greeting cards in their birthday,because of a few words of blessing.These gifts,simple but true.It cant be compared with those which built with a lot of money, outlined by luxuriance. What clever gifts! In some sense, they are invaluable.

Yes,in this materialistic society,some people think money is everything,the one who owns money,who owns all.No wonder a great amount of girls became mammonists,and want to marry richers;no wonder more and more men think that there is no true love,what girls love is their money. But I always believe sincere love is existed and its priceless. Even if you have millions of money, you cant change it into true love. Maybe money can let you get some feelings from girls, but those are hypocritical. When you no longer possess vast wealth, the hypocritical feelings will ended and left you extremely painful finally.Jim and Della were a happy couple, although they were poor, living in short of money.In their hearts, money is not important, the important thing is the affection from each other.As long as they have it, they felt happier than any millionaire.

Maybe some people will pour scorn on it and cannot understand what their done. If there is a good fortune and a sincere feeling in front of you at the same time, which one will you choose? I wouldnt hesitate to choose the later, because sincere feeling is priceless! I believe that true pay will have sincere return finally, and the one who have true love can have his or her happiness.

Nowadays,more and more people have been pressed to lose their breath by the reality.They forgot the persons they love,and the persons who love them.We need to care about others,no matter how much money we have.What our loved one need is how our concern about him or her. In some important days,dont forget to bring him or her some gifts.No matter what is it,how valuable is it,he or she would like it anyway.

读到这里时，思绪早已远离了书本，仿佛置身于金色的海洋中，密密匝匝的麦浪明朗如洗的苍穹下涌动着，空气中盈满了麦穗丰收的气息，一个个孩童的身影在阳光下肆意奔跑，明净稚嫩的脸颊上漾起纯真的笑容。不必担忧，也不必恐慌，因为他们知道，在坠进深不见底的悬崖前，总有一位守望者给予你温暖的怀抱。

刚翻阅这本薄薄的小书时，止不住的震惊。书中的人物满嘴脏话，满口谎言，酗酒，逃学等现象屡见不鲜，故事情节也冗长无味。不禁怀疑：这样的故事适合我们阅读吗？它是否被人们过誉？直到这里，种种疑惑都豁然明朗。一本书之所以成为经典，是因为它具有刻画真实的勇气。

故事发生在上世纪50年代的美国，经济繁荣。荒芜的精神世界使人们戴上虚伪的面具，将利益放在第一位，漠视他人的感受。中学生霍尔顿向往自由，渴求摆脱约束。世人眼中的问题少年，却有一颗金子般闪闪发光的心灵，他不希望任何不美好的事情发生在涉世未深的孩子上，守护孩子们不掉入世俗的悬崖，拥抱他们，防止他们误入歧途。

青春期的我们与霍尔顿年纪相仿，在看书时的我甚至跨越了书本的界限，与霍尔顿的种种想法不谋而合。理想与现实之间有一条难以逾越的鸿沟，当事与愿违，周遭的事物使我们不满，一次次的跌倒让我们失望，我们便陷入了苦恼，开始迷惘，想逃避现实，打破那些禁锢我们的桎梏。

但是，身边的诱惑太多，隐藏在虚伪面具下的肮脏我们并不能轻易察觉。于是，一些正值美好年华的少年少女，选择沉沦与堕落，染上世俗之尘，戴上假面。如今，青少年吸毒，因不堪重负而放弃生命的新闻接连不断地出现在大众的视野里，整个社会都在为我们担忧：这是祖国的未来吗？这难道是即将绽放的花朵吗？每当我浏览到此类信息，总是免不了叹息遗憾。我想，他们缺少的或许只是一片可以无边无际，任由自己徜徉的麦田。

那么，谁来成为我们的守望者呢？答案只有一个——自己。生命中令人不悦的时刻常有，也逃不掉尴尬窘迫的瞬间，甘如蜜糖涩如黄连的感受交织存在着。或许生活中埋伏着我们不能抵抗的恶势力，但至少我们只要还能拥有一种勇气，一种审视自我，坚守自我的勇气。人生苦短，就没有浑浑噩噩白活一场。蚕是被自己吐的丝裹住的，只有一步步解开困惑，经历挣扎，才能破茧成蝶；人也同样，如果你戴上虚伪的面具，将自己禁锢，束缚在其中，你会发现，这个世界在你眼中就只是一个巨大的茧，你根本没有真正地享受过生活。

“玉骨那愁瘴雾，冰姿自有仙风。”愿我们都不会被眼前的灯红酒绿所迷惑，不会被喧闹尘嚣纷扰，有着坚守自我的决心，卸下伪装，找到属于自己的麦田，倘若无人来拥抱自己，那就成为自己的守望者，亦可成为他人的守望者！

凡高，一个将画视为生命，甚至超过生命的人，一个真正用灵魂的色彩来绘画的人。可当他放下画笔时，却拿起枪结束了自己被人世束缚的生命。

他生命的热情，像是飞蛾扑火般的冲动，像是美人鱼起舞般陶醉。他的色彩，跳跃着疯狂迷醉的舞蹈，奔放地随意旋转着，令人目眩；又似一首激昂的舞曲，想要跳出世俗的束缚。

他桔红色的发须是张扬还是落寞，那纠结的眉头总让人感到一种莫名的忧伤，他的《自画像》让人心疼。他总是充满幻想，却游走于极端，他总在绘画中与自己苦斗。他执着地爱着《向日葵》，他用抒情的笔调充分展示着那黄金般的绚丽色彩，一朵一朵绽放的花如同火焰，正如他自己所说，“这是爱的最强光。”

他的画面，是永不熄灭的篝火，如同那激情似火的向日葵，按捺不住内心强烈的欲望，正奋力摆脱花瓶的束缚，奔向太阳。他的感情过于炽烈，总是因现实的黑暗而绝望，他的灵魂过于纯洁，总是因世人的污浊而叹息，他对梦想过于执着，魔鬼称他为上帝，上帝叫他为孩子，人们称他为疯子。

他说：“我是以向日葵的姿态活着，而不是以束缚的姿态活着。”看凡高的画，第一眼看到的是耀眼的光华，第二眼看到的是太阳恋上雪花的矛盾，第三眼感受的则是雪花在太阳狂吻下的无奈与消亡。

画如人生。当你被那金灿灿的麦田吸引时，你可否注意到画面角落里的阴冷，是否注意到那令人不寒而栗的送葬队伍？凡高的绝笔画面，仿佛就是他自我生命的写照，是他宿命的遗言。灿如黄金的麦田之上，一群乌鸦飞过，也许，他觉得自己就像那个被束缚的稻草人，希望在阳光下沐浴却又无法忍受乌鸦的啃食。他选择了简单的方式让自己解脱，谁也不知道在中弹后的几天他是怎样度过的，是挣扎在生与死的边缘，还是在等待死亡。

Its a moving story and a mixture of love,fear,guilty,atonement and so on.For a lont time,it makes the books we read lost their color.

The first time I read a book written by an Afghan atuhor named Khaled Hosseini ,it told a story between two boys.A rich boy Amir at the age of 12 and his servant Hasan were brotherly loved.Nevertheless,afer a kite game,something miserable happened.Amir feel grievous and guilty for his cowardice and he cannot confront Hansan,using something contempitable to let Hansan and his father leave his home.Not long,Afghanistan broke ou a war,Amir and his father had to fled to America.After his grown- up,he cannot forgave what he had done to Hansan before.And to atone for himself,he returned his hometown,which was destoryed badly by the war……

Maybe all of us more or less had done something as Amir did before,we are too young to understand others feelings when we broke their heart into pieces.We may feel guilty and miserable for waht we have done.But there is no use to cry over spilt milk.What we really should do is to face the reality and like Amir,to atone for ourselves.

After reading "A tale of two cities"

"A tale of two cities" is one of Dickenss most important representative works.The novel profoundly exposed the society contradiction before the French Revolution,intensely attacks the aristocratic social class is dissolute and cruel,and sincerely sympathizes with the depressed classes.The novel also described many magnificent scenes like the revolt people attacked Bastille and so on,which displayed peoples great strength.

The novel has portrayed many different people. Doctor Manette is honest and kind but suffers the persecution actually ， Lucie is beautiful and gentle ，Charles is graceful and noble，Lorry is upright and honest ，Sydney is semblance of indifferent, innermost feelings of warm,unconventional but also selfless and lofty，Miss Pross is straightforward and loyal，Evremonde brothers are cruel and sinister......The complex hatred is hard to solve, the cruel revenge has made more hatreds, loves rebirth in the hell edge,but take the life as the price.

As an outstanding writer,in Dickenss work,the language skill is essential.Each kind of rhetoric technique,like the analogy,the exaggeration,the contrast,the humorous,and the taunt are handled skillfully,and the artistry of the work is also delivered the peak."A tale of two cities" has its difference with the general historical novel, its character and the main plot are all fictionalizes.With the broad real background of the French Revolution,the author take the fictional character Doctor Manettes experience as the main clue,interweaves the unjust charge, love and revenge three independences but also incident cross-correlation stories together,the plot is criss-crossed,and the clue is complex.The author use insert narrates,foreshadowing,upholstery and so many techniques,causes the structure integrity and strictness,the plot winding anxious and rich of theatrical nature,it displayed the remarkable artistic skill.the style "A tale of two cities" is solemnity and melancholy,fills indignantion,but lacks the humor of the early works.

Agam is a mentally retarded child. The first time to see Agam ，I was laughing.Agam has funny actions, funny look and he is too silly. But for the second time, I start think. Agam is so serious about every sentence of his mother ,he listens carefully and remember it. So serious and persistent, Agam eventually become a millionaire. Since a fool can be serious and successful, why cant we?

阿甘是个弱智儿童。第一次看这个电影的时候我一直都在笑，阿甘那些搞笑的动作、神情和他的傻让我捧腹大笑。但是第二次看的时候，我就开始思考了。阿甘是那么的认真，妈妈说的每一句话他都认真的记住并做到。凭着这种认真和执着，阿甘最终成为了百万富翁。既然一个傻子都凭着认真而成功，我们为什么不能呢?

稻草人，风中默默无语守卫土地的稻草人，一直晃动在我的梦中，每一次我就会发生莫名的感动来。

它守卫着金光闪闪，黄灿灿散发着幽香的小麦，拥挤在斜坡上，舞蹈在岭头上，静默在山坳里。这些栩栩如生的稻草人，在阳光雨露中日夜守护者这片麦田。它们有的披着棉衣，有的穿着破草鞋，有的手握拐棍，有的用茅草扎成人样，有的用简易的木偶来包装，有的像农夫举手撒种，有的瞪着凶神恶煞的眼睛……不是野兽飞鸟看了会胆寒，我看了也会生出几分恐怖感来。

虽稻草人外表凶恶，但是它的内心朴实无华，夜以继日的守卫麦田。它用全部身心将你的希望耕耘，只是那时候，它还不懂痛苦和伤心。它只是痴痴脉脉地庆幸自己是麦田里唯一的守望者，它必然会成为你希望的守护神。

它神气地站得笔直而僵硬，以此来强悍它的造型，恫吓所有侵犯领地的人。它甚至尽力调整自己的身体，伸长它的手臂，驱赶那些聒噪的鸟雀和蚊蝇。风吹、日晒、雨淋、电闪、雷击，虫蚁的啃咬，泥水的侵蚀，都无法动摇它守望的决心。

白天，它顶住酷热，任风把思绪吹起。它看见蓝天和白云在说悄悄话，燕子在它头上蹦跳。夜晚，蟋蟀在鸣唱，小虫在呢喃，青蛙在合奏，流星在它的眼前晃来晃去，夜空神秘的眨着眼睛，猫头鹰目光如炬，警惕着田鼠的来临。夜风吹撒了它一天的辛劳，露珠佛去它满身的疲惫，它日夜兼程，不敢丝毫的懈怠，静静的守护着你的麦田，充满了诗情画意和憧憬。

岁月在它身上凿出千疮百孔，心碎了谁懂，任雪花把它的心丝丝浸透随雪花一起飞走。

它在你锻造的田园里守护，哪怕一如此刻的冰冷与疼痛，它独自守候，任岁月蹉跎，为你守候，无悔，无怨，就这样终其一生。

麦田里的守望者——稻草人，它那无私奉献，默默无语的付出，它那不屈不挠的精神，深深的打动了我幼小的心。
