Teacher you treat us, like your own children, is you take us to swim in the ocean of knowledge, is you take us through the naive childhood, you put us a ignorant child education into a qualified pupil. You did so much for us!

Dear Mr. Wang,

I am pleased to invite you to a luncheon, to be held by the Monterey Institute of International Studies on October 12, 2006 at noon, commemorating the 75th anniversary of the death of General Stilwell and in honor of his daughter, Mrs. Nancy Stilwell Easterbrook. Mrs. Easterbrook was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Monterey Institute and founder of the Stilwell Scholarship, which is dedicated to supporting students from China.

For many years until she passed away, Nancy had served as a goodwill ambassador of the American people who made unremitting efforts to promote exchanges between the United States and China. The Stilwell Scholarship she founded helps support deserving students from China who have come to the Monterey Institute to pursue professional degrees in translation and interpretation, international policy studies, language teaching and business management.

I hope you will be able to join us. Mr. Chuanyun Boo, Dean of the Graduate School of Translation and Interpretation, will be calling you soon to discuss this event further.

我总感觉你不够疼我，一次又一次我甚至怀疑我是不是你亲生的。我不住地向你抱怨，不时地向你数落。

日子一天天的过去，你依然事无巨细为我忙碌着，时不时唠叨着。

我清楚地记得，那天放学了，雨淅淅沥沥下着，我望着那些相识和不相识的人，形色匆匆在路上走着，各式各样的伞在雨中撑开，像一朵朵盛开的鲜花。而我在雨中孤独地走着，雨丝飘到了我的脸上、头上，也滴在了我的心上，透心的凉……

突然，我觉得头上没有了雨丝，雨停了吗?我抬起头，头顶多了一把雨伞——妈妈的雨伞;身后多了一个人——妈妈。我忍不住责怪你，你怎么不早点来接我，为什么不早点送伞。我发泄着心中的不满，而你只是微笑着淡淡地说：“妈妈没忘记，只是有事耽误了。”默默地为我撑伞继续前行，我不停地诉说着我的不满。

有人经过我时悄悄在我耳边说“你妈妈的伞都向你倾斜的，她的衣服全淋湿了。”那一刻，我的心为之一震，蓦然抬头，那一刻我看到了那把倾斜的雨伞，那半边湿透的衣服，那憔悴的脸，那淋湿的凌乱的头发里夹杂着的白发是那么抢眼，我踮起脚尖将妈妈垂下的的头发拨弄到了耳后，轻轻将伞微微向妈妈倾斜着倾斜着……

此时过去的点点滴滴，一幕幕在我的脑海循环播放着，我的心里像打翻了的.五味瓶，任泪水不由自主地滑落，冲刷着……

那一刻，我才惊觉，我以前是那么不懂你，你却依然一直深爱着我。

那一刻，我才发现，那份爱总是在不经意间出现。

那一刻，我读懂了你。

“真的?我们真的要去大海玩吗?”看着妈妈微笑地点点头，我又一次高兴地蹦了起来! "Really? Do we really want to go to the sea to play?" Looking at my mother nodded with a smile, I jumped up again!

我们到了大海边，正在下着毛毛雨。我们周围的礁石在雾中若隐若现，就好像到了仙境一般!

“哗哗哗!”那是谁在打击着“暗礁鼓”呢?原来是大海。它正跟着风伯伯一起演奏歌典呢!那是多么动听的交响乐啊!大家都陶醉其中，还有的人跟着节奏轻轻地摇摆着，似乎被那美妙的音乐“催眠”了似的。

过了许久，雨停了，太阳公公露出了他的笑脸，眼光下的大海，显得波光粼粼，太美丽了!不知谁喊了一声：“我们来堆沙堡吧!”我们都围在一块儿，干起了活儿来。大家有的打“地基”，有的做“墙壁”，还有的做“柱子”。又过了一会儿，我们的劳动成果出来喽!快看!那座沙堡，在阳光的照耀下闪闪发光，我们大家看着自己的成果，都欢呼了起来，笑着，跳着，沙子趁机钻进了鞋子也不在乎。那时，我们大家似乎都只会欢呼，除此之外，什么事也不肯做了!

在我们的欢呼下，夜幕渐渐降临了，四周渐渐暗了下来，也安静了许多。只有“沙沙”的海风和依旧与它配合着的海浪。在波涛汹涌的海面上，有着一艘艘渔船，渔夫们打开了灯，一闪一闪的，就像一颗颗正在向我们眨着眼的星星，而那蔚蓝的海面，就像是那美丽的夜空。啊!好一幅美丽的海上夜空图呀!别人看见了，一定会为之惊叹：那哪是海上啊，分明就是繁星点点的夜空嘛!

是呀!多么美丽的大海啊。这次大海之旅虽然已经结束，但我的心却还在那美妙的交响乐中，还在那美丽的沙堡中，还在那绮丽的海上夜空图中，还在那美丽的大海之中。

我的家乡，它没有城市般繁华，也没有山区那样自然，它平常，它平凡，如同一片树叶，它飘然落地，没人会注意。这里是一个遥远的小镇，有海，据说那是通向太平洋的，可惜没有港口，也没有大船，只能看着这早已泛滥的海岸，纪于这比遥远更遥远的盼望——大海的更一端。 My hometown, it is not as prosperous as the city, and it is not as natural as mountainous areas. 我住在镇中心，每隔几天就会热闹起来，邻镇的村民都会来到这里赶集，东南西北，都是人来人往，很少有人开小车，因为路太小(而且小车也是有钱人才买的起，我们这些小村小民的很少有人买)大多数都是步行，骑单车，骑摩托车的。我们这里买农作产物，买农作要品，买家畜……

可谓应有尽有，可对于大城市来说呢?这里没有KTV，这里没图书馆，这里没有公园，没有的东西数都数不清……没有城市的繁华，我却可以过得比城市人更快乐。以我农为中心，方圆百里，都是我的朋友。以前没有水泥路，黄土泥沙都是我们的“玩伴”，扔沙包，捉迷藏，跳飞机，玩玻璃球，拍公仔，要玩的游戏，数不数不清，要快乐，就在此刻。

城市人我想问：你试过扔沙包，扔到连中午饭都想在在这里吃，于是先拿个鸡腿在这里啃吗?你试过十几个人，午后黄昏了，还在你家门口拍公仔的喜悦吗?拍到手上全是灰尘，拍到手已红肿的激情吗?你有过捉迷藏，藏在衣橱里，留到最后的激动感吗?

你有过玩玻璃球，只赢了十多个弹珠，放在裤兜里那种，超人的满足感和快乐感吗?你有过跳飞机，跳到脚麻，雨后，玩泥巴当过家家，夏天捉知了玩的，无法言语的开心感吗?我得童年就是这样过得，我庆幸，我不是城里的孩子，这可以留给我盼望，我也庆幸，我不是山区的孩子，命没有那么命。

我的家乡还有一些封建残留，老百姓多以农业为主，牛耕为主;小时候，还见过木匠，还坐过牛车，男女一定授受不亲，不然一定会说坏话，说到你们连朋友都不可以做(这也是我羡慕你们城市里的开放)。我的家乡很美，很动人;我的邻居很好，很怀念;我的童年，五彩缤纷;我的故事，还有很长…

古人云：“滴水之恩当涌泉相报”。感恩是一种生活态度，只有拥有了一颗感恩的心，你才会觉得这个社会这个世界是充满希望充满爱的。 Ancient people: "The grace of dripping water is reported to the spring."Thanksgiving is a kind of life attitude. Only when you have a grateful heart can you think that this society and this world are full of hope and love.

感恩，其实是无处不在的。

宗教是最崇尚感恩的。他们感谢天神，感谢主。当然，我们感谢的，远比他们多得多。感谢父母，他们给予你生命，抚养你成人;感谢亲人，他们让你感受到世界的温暖;感谢老师，他们教给你知识，引领你做“大写的人”;感谢对手，他们令你不断进取努力。感谢太阳，它让你获得温暖;感谢江河，它让你拥有清水;感谢大地，它让你有生存空间。感恩是一种心态，一种品质，一种艺术。

感恩是乐观。感谢困难，感谢挫折，不是乐观么?感谢对手，感谢敌人，不是乐观么?所以，感恩，是一种乐观的心态。

感恩是礼貌。有人帮助了我们，我们随口说声“谢谢”，可能会给对方心里带来一股暖流。怀着感恩的心，是有礼貌是知恩图报。所以，感恩，是一种有礼貌的品质。

感恩是艺术。学会感恩，生活将变得无比精彩。感恩描绘着生活，将生活中大块的写意，挥洒得酣畅淋漓;将生活中清淡的山水，点缀得清秀飘逸;将生活中细致的工笔，描绘得细腻精美。所以，感恩，是一种多样的艺术。

羔羊跪乳，乌鸦反哺，动物尚且知道感恩更何况我们作为万物之灵的人类呢?常怀感恩之心我们便会更加感激和怀念那些有恩于我们却不言回报的每一个人。正是因为他们的存在我们才有了今天的幸福和喜悦。常怀感恩之心便会给予别人更多的帮助和鼓励为的快乐，便能对落难或者绝处求生的人们爱心融融地伸出援助之手而且不求回报。

Dear Mary,

I am sorry to trouble you, but nobody would come into my mind to help me except you.

You know, I had planned this holiday for several years. A t last, my dream came true. You could imagine how excited I was. My mind was completely occupied with the holiday. I forgot to collect my laundry. I dont know if you can help me collect my laundry. I sent the laundry to the Johns. It is the one down the corner on St. Peters Street. You cant miss it, because the house is painted green-a big green house. I have got two pairs of trousers, three shirts, one T-shirt and a blanket. Call a taxi to send you home. I will pay you back when I am home.

My first stop is London. It is raining. The streets are very clean. How I wish I could have the chance to see the famous London fog. But someone told me that was already the history. One can only read things like that about London in books.

Thank you for your letter of congratulation on my exam results. I was very pleased to hear from you. The results were a great relief. I did much better than I thought I would.

We are having a celebration party on Saturday 22 May and we shall be pleased if you can come. It is a party for me, but my parents and some of their old friends are joining in, so you will find

The party starts at half past six- drinks, and a buffet supper later. You said in your letter that youve given up driving, so my father will meet you with the car at San Mateo station. Please let me know what time your train arrives.

There is a good train back to San Palo at 10:30 and well arrange transport for you to catch that. I hope that wont be too late for you. It would be a pity if you had to leave while the party was still in full swing.I do hope that you will be able to come.
