这还得从我呀呀学语开始说起。那是，爸爸妈妈就给我买了好多小人书、识字卡片、唐诗三百首……从那时起，我就和书结下了缘，我就爱上了看书。我大概估计了一下，我每年最起码也要买十几本书以上，而且我都能在规定的时间内看完。从小到大，爸爸妈妈对我在书的方面下了很大的投资，所以，我总是认真阅读大量的书来增添自己的知识，把这个作为回报送给爸爸妈妈是最好不过的了。

我看过的书可多了，有《苦儿流浪记》、《海底两万里》、《笑猫日记》、《那个骑轮箱来的蜜儿》、《呼啸山庄》、《简·爱》、《鲁宾逊漂流记》……还有很多很多书呢!爸爸还特地给我做了两个大书柜，可是书还是放不下，后来妈妈到超市里去帮我买了两个很大的箱子，这才把三分之二的书放掉了!怎么办呢?我灵机一动，说：“唉，我的两个衣柜当中不是还有一个柜子吗?那里也可以放书的啊，反正也是空着。”怎么样，我的书是不是很多?其实，我的书还远远不只这些，只要你到我家来，随处可见我的书!

有时候，我看书竟达到了废寝忘食的程度。那天晚上，我做完作业后，闲着没事儿干，我就拿起一本书在那儿津津有味地看了起来。看了一会儿，妈妈突然喊：“都几点啦，还在看书，明天不要上学啦，还不去洗澡!”经过妈妈这一提醒，我看了一下手表，大叫一声：“妈妈呀，你怎么不早点叫我啊!现在都11点啦”“我也是现在看了一下钟才知道的啊，这也不能怪我，谁叫你看书看得这么入迷，连时间都忘了!”“呜呜……”我一边装哭，一边去洗澡。洗完澡后，我就拿着书上楼了，可是，鞋刚换好，妈妈就叫：“人可以上去，书不可以带上去!”妈妈这样说的原因是：我前一天就是半夜看书，看到凌晨1点多钟了，还在看，谁知爸爸来“查房”时，看见我还在看书，就把我狠狠地批评了一顿，所以妈妈才不让我带书上楼的。

还有一次，爸爸妈妈一整天都不在家，我就在家看了整整一天的书，连饭都没吃，直到妈妈回家的前一分钟，我才想起，我一整天都没吃东西了，这是，我的肚子发出了抗议声“咕噜咕噜”我一看时间，呀四点半了，妈妈要回来了!这时，我才想妈妈对我说，厨房里有吃的，饿了的话，就自己拿着吃吧。我以0.01秒的速度跑进厨房，开始使用“狼吞虎咽”式吃法，不到两分钟，就把那些吃的给消灭了。
