We have to admit that, comparatively speaking, our cities are not so clean and green as those in the developed countries. There are not adequate trees, lawns and flower-beds in such big cities as Beijing,Tianjin and Shanghai.

We should make our cities greener by planting more trees, grass and flowers. A green enviromnent can bring us pleasure, beauty and fresh air. 我是英华小学六（7）班的一名少先队员。我发现近期的雾霾现象十分大。

2、 出门时尽量乘坐公交车，不要开私家车。

3、 每天最多打开电脑一两个小时，不要开太长时间。

4、 在夏天，开空调时如果没有那么热，调温度时可以调高几度，尽量不要开太长时间。

5、 如果家里是开场子的，排放出来的黑烟，一定要经过处理，不要直接排放在空中。

I have made many friends,most of whom have been kept in my memory,but I have engraved only one of them on my mind deeply until now.It was my stable-companion during my college days.He was an honest and tolerant fellow,and always got along with me sincerey and kindly.When I was in worry,he used to give warm comfort to me; when I was in trouble,he often threw himself into the breach to share my sorrow.I believe he is the best friend of mine in my life.If you want to know who he is,I will tell you the next time.

我生在北京城里。小时候，我爬到院里的高楼顶上四下眺望，经常能看到颐和园的佛香阁。几年前，我住在北大畅春园，离颐和园只有数里之遥，从窗户里看佛香阁，十次倒有八次看不见。北京的空气老是迷迷糊糊的，有点迷眼，又有点呛嗓子，我小时候不是这样。在北京城里住，几乎每天都要换衬衣，在国外时，一件衬衣可以穿好几天。世界上有很多以污染闻名的城市：米兰、洛杉矶、伦敦等等，我都去过。就我所见，北京城的情况在这些城市里也是坏的。

但我对北京的环境改善充满了信心。因为这是一座现代大都市，有能力很快改善环境，北京是首都，自然会首先得到改善。不信你到欧美的大城市看看，就会发现有些旧石头房子像瓦窑里面一样黑，而新的石头房子则像雪一样白。问当地人，他们会说：老房子的黑是煤烟熏的。现在没有煤烟，石头墙就不会变黑了。现代大城市有办法解决环境问题有财力，也有技术。到了非解决不可时，自然就会解决。

我现在住的地方在城乡结合部，出门不远，就是乡政府的地面。我家楼下是个农贸市场，成天来往着些砰砰乱响的东西：手扶拖拉机、小四轮、农用汽车等等。这些交通工具有一个共同点：全装着吼声震天、黑烟滚滚的柴油机。因为有这种机器，我认为城市近郊、小城镇等地环境问题更严重。人家总说城市里噪音严重，但你若到郊区的公路边坐上一天，回来大概已经半聋了。

说到环境问题，好多人以为这是近代机器文明造成的，其实大谬不然。说到底，环境问题是人的问题。煤烟、柴油机是糟糕，但也是人愿意忍受它。到了不愿忍受时，自然会想出办法来。知识分子悲天悯人的哀号解决不了环境问题。只要知道一件事就可以解决环境问题：人不能只管糟蹋不管收拾。收拾一下环境就好了，在其中生活也能像个体面人。
