There axe many kinds of thanksgiving days in the world. american thanksgiving day is another important holiday related to christianity. it is on the fourth thursday of each november. thanksgiving day in america is considered as a time to offer thanks, of family gatherings and holiday meals, such as turkeys, pumpkin pie, indian corn and so on. there are always holiday parades and hot balloons on that day.

I want to say Thank you to Miss Wang our English teacher.

I can never pay you back for your kindness and your patience. I used to be weak in English. You found my problem and helped me out. With your help I am now good at English. I still remember your smile on the day when I won first prize in the English speech competition.

It was you who gave me the confidence. Thank you,my teacher.

My Mother isa kind and gentle woman。 She is always very gentle。 She takes good care of her children and keeps them all at school。 I have one brother and two sistets。 So she gets four children in all。 She gives us every fort。 We all love her and she loves us also。

My mother has too much to do in bringing us up。 As our family is too poor to keep a servant， my mother has always to do very much work。 She gets up very early and sleeps very late every day。 She works hard， yet without plaining。

She is also a thrifty， and industrious woman。 She saves every cent that she can and keeps everything in order。 As she has been busy eversince she was young， she looks older than she really is。 Her face is wrinkled， her hair bees silver white， but she works as hard as ever。

Often she says to us， work while you work， play while you play。 If you do not work， you will bee lazy and of no use to society。 What piece of good advice this is! We must worth it well and always keep it in our mind。

I am writing to you to express my thanks for your help in learning English. You are one of the best teachers who I have ever met. There are many good points that I learn from you.

During these days in your class, I have acquired much knowledge from you and it really helps me a lot。 Firstly， you let me know what the west thinking pattern is -straight thinking pattern. As an English learner, it is important for me to understand the difference between them. There is no denying the fact that this can help me with my examination and interaction with foreigners. Whats more， Im glad to be your student， and I am very happy to learn the course under your guidance. English is an important tool, through which we can share our experience with the world.
