My parents might work hard, but they re always there for me. Whenever I get into trouble and desperately need a hand, they come over first to support me and encourage me. I grew up with their constant care and love. While they re getting older with grey hair and wrinkles, they never lose dignity in both life and jobs.

我父母虽然努力工作，但他们总是陪在我身边。每当我陷入困境，迫切需要帮助时。他们是第一个支持我、鼓励我的人。我在他们不断的爱和照顾中长大。当他们变老而且出现白发和皱纹时，他们也永远不会失去生活和工作的尊严。

From my parents, I have learned that one person can really make a difference. I ll never forget their care and love. Gratefulness brings a great fullness to life. I wish they could always be happy and healthy. It is high time we expressed our gratitude to people we cherish!

你从我的父母身上，我知道一个人真的可以有所作为。我永远也不会忘记他们的关怀和爱。感恩使生活带来了的充实。我希望他们能永远幸福和健康。是时候我们要向我们珍惜的人表达我们的谢意了!

Today is Thanksgiving, the teacher told us to go home and do something, I thought, "what do you do? Wash the dishes? No way! Autumn, the water is also cold, my mother is afraid to freeze me, wash clothes, also cant, the dirty clothes in the home are all washed by mothers clothes, then what do? By the way, wash your mothers feet!"

Youth

Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .

Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . We grow old by deserting our ideals.

Years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . Worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .

Whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .

When the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80.

Last week I saw a young man giving up his seat to a woman with a baby in her arms on a bus. To my great surprise， the woman did not thank the young man; on the contrary， she glared at him coldly， which made him embarrassed.

This incident set me thinking. If everyone acted like that woman， who would like to help others? And what would our society be like?

If anyone gives you a hand， you should express your sincere gratitude to him or her. Only in this way will everyone be ready to help others and feel satisfied with it.

In 1620, the settlers, or Pilgrims, they sailed to America on the May flower, seeking a place where they could have freedom of worship. After a tempestuous two-month voyage they landed at in icy November, what is now Plymouth, Massachusetts.

During their first winter, over half of the settlers died of starvation or epidemics. Those who survived began sowing in the first spring.

All summer long they waited for the harvests with great anxiety, knowing that their lives and the future existence of the colony depended on the coming harvest. Finally the fields produced a yield rich beyond expectations. And therefore it was decided that a day of thanksgiving to the Lord be fixed . Years later, President of the United States proclaimed the fourth Thursday of November as Thanksgiving Day every year. The celebration of Thanksgiving Day has been observed on that date until today.

The pattern of the Thanksgiving celebration has never changed through the years. The big family dinner is planned months ahead. On the dinner table, people will find apples, oranges, chestnuts, walnuts and grapes. There will be plum pudding, mince pie, other varieties of food and cranberry juice and squash. The best and most attractive among them are roast turkey and pumpkin pie. They have been the most traditional and favorite food on Thanksgiving Day throughout the years.

Everyone agrees the dinner must be built around roast turkey stuffed with a bread dressing to absorb the tasty juices as it roasts. But as cooking varies with families and with the regions where one lives, it is not easy to get a consensus on the precise kind of stuffing for the royal bird.

Thanksgiving today is, in every sense, a national annual holiday on which Americans of all faiths and backgrounds join in to express their thanks for the year s bounty and reverently ask for continued blessings.

今天的感恩节是一个不折不扣的国定假日。在这一天，具有各种信仰和各种背景的美国人，共同为他们一年来所受到的上苍的恩典表示感谢，虔诚地祈求上帝继续赐福。

感恩是人最朴实，最真诚的一种情感。也是一种高尚的价值观和人生观的体现，怀有一颗感恩的心。才懂得尊重。尊重生命、尊重劳动、尊重创造。让我们怀着一颗感恩的心面向世界吧!

今天下午妈妈回到了家中，一回到家妈妈就开始拖地然后烧饭。疲惫的脸上明显多了几条皱纹，望着妈妈这样我心里也不是个滋味。

晚上，吃完饭妈妈准备洗碗，我拉住妈妈的手对妈妈说：“妈，我帮你洗。”妈妈笑了笑说：“我女儿懂事了”“嘻嘻”我也笑了。这夜晚虽然是冬天但整个房间都暧透了。

今天,在学校发生了-件十分不愉快的事情。在测800米跑步时，一个女孩故意把我绊倒，我手上划破皮了，可是她却头也不回地往前跑。

我努力的站了起来。泪水在脸颊上始终没有落下，努力跑完了全程。事后有人问我恨不恨那个人，我笑了笑说：“我一点也不恨她，反儿要感谢她，她在绊我的同时无形中强化了我的意志力。我怎么又能去恨她。”

其实感恩就是这么简单，感恩父母、感恩对手、感恩一切地一切，感恩世界，感恩万物，感谢有你。

Every year on the fourth Thursday of November is Thanksgiving Day. It’s a

festival for American and Canadian with the purpose of thanks for harvest. While

canadians celebrate on the second Monday of October. I have a penfriend in

America. He wrote to me his Thanksgiving Day last year. He told me that it was a

time for family reunion. Families would come back home to celebrate the festival

together. Most of the time it was his mother who prepared the dinner. Turkey is

must for the festival. It looks like huge chicken. His mother also made pumpkin

pie and many other delicious food for them. After the dinner, they talked with

each other with the old thing or the future plan. He said sometimes they would

invite some friends to share the happiness of Thanksgiving Day. In a word, he

had a great time on Thanksgiving Day.

s in the playground in our school held a big activity - gratitude education.

The school also invited the space-squeezed cities teacher lecture for us. The teacher told us the word "teach" first, said: "what is education? First learn to filial piety, learning knowledge, order cannot be reversed." At this time of the classmates, as to the space-squeezed cities, content of the teacher speak of are listened with relish, wont make a sound.

The space-squeezed cities the teacher told us a deaf girl again to become the worlds model of small story. When you listen to, tears, some still can send out the voice of weeping, so do I. At this moment, I thought, with the size of the little girl my age dont have parents, and my mom and dad every day care about me, but I know when they are, is really ashamed!

Space-squeezed cities the teacher not only teach us grateful parents, and teach us grateful teacher.

The teacher said, "when you play in the playground, the teacher prepares a lesson in the office; when the dead of night, the teacher corrects students papers. The teacher position you pay, and you?" At that time, everyone bowed his head.

After hearing this vivid Thanksgiving education, I dont feel grateful, is not a person, Im sorry the word "person" title.

我们全校师生在操场上举行了一次大型活动——感恩教育。

学校还邀请了刘志老师为我们讲课。老师先对我们讲“教”这个字，说：“什么是教育?先学会孝顺，再学知识，顺序不能颠倒。”这时的同学们，好像对刘志老师讲的内容所着迷，都在津津有味地听着，不会发出一点声音。

刘志老师又给我们讲了一位聋哑小姑娘成为世界名模的小故事。大家听后，热泪盈眶，有的还会发出哭泣的声音来，我也一样。这时的我，想：与我年龄一般大小的小女孩都没有了父母，而我的爸爸妈妈每天都关心我，我却身在福中不知福，真是惭愧啊!

刘志老师不但教我们感恩父母，而且教我们感恩老师。

老师说：“当你们在操场上嬉戏的时候，老师在办公室里备课;当夜深人静的时候，老师在批改作业。老师不停地位你们付出，而你们呢?”这时候，大家都低下了头。

听完这节生动的感恩教育课，我觉得不懂得感恩的人，就不是一个活生生的人，就对不起这个“人”字称号。
