村外，就是一望无际的大海。那儿美不胜收，还时常听到渔船发动机的声音。而小朋友们最喜欢的就是到海滩上捡贝壳了，它们颜色不一，大小各不相同，能捡到各种各样的贝壳。要是你幸运的话，还能捡到乳白色的大蚌，说不定还有珍珠呢。不过要告诉你，捡贝壳最佳时间是下午，因为早上会涨潮的，哈哈。晚上，大海安静的出奇，似乎也跟我们人一样安详地进入梦乡，为新的一天做准备。

盛夏，骄阳似火，大地都被“烤干”了。不用愁家里没有空调。来来来，到我们定海的码头来吧。只要站在那里，就有一丝丝清凉的海风吹过你的面颊，让你感到凉爽。而它，那凉爽的海风24小时永不停息地为你服务。

再来看看新村，是我们定海扩建的村子。这可比旧城好多了，新楼林立，宾馆酒店随处可见，各种店铺到处都是，摆小摊做生意的也是星罗密布，真是热闹非凡!

走进那城墙上刻着“会城重镇”的城门，我们来到了定海旧城。这儿一个通道，那儿一个巷口，就把旧城串的四通八达。我和表弟经常在里面钻来钻去，嘻嘻，好像很适合玩躲猫猫的游戏。这里的路和房子都是用石头砌成的，充满了古色古香。我最喜欢的，就是清晨时的定海古城。清晨，雾从山谷里升起，穿插在山间的定海古城白茫茫一片，雾把旧城封得严严实实的。就在这时，太阳升起来了，千万缕像利剑一样的金光穿过树梢，照射在各个巷口的石板路上。知了叫了，鸟儿停在树梢上唱起歌来，宁静的定海顿时又热闹起来。

这就是我的故乡，那连江著名的港湾—定海。

我的家乡，人好，地好，将来一定更好，我在网上看到家乡的介绍，家乡北边紧挨着中国的欧亚大陆桥东头——边云港，南边是天然湿地风景区——MI鹿和丹顶鹤的家乡，距离国际大都市上海也不过3个小时的路程，家乡有正在开发的天然良港——滨海港，有沿海高速公路经过，正在兴建的飞机场、火车道都会给我的家乡再来无限的生机，我立志要好好学习，用我的智慧和双手建设我们美好的家园，我的家乡滨海明天一定更美好。
