小学时的长跑要求很简单，并且每年也只有一次。但到了中学则对长跑的速度、距离都有了明显的改变。因为，随着年龄的增长，对我们体能的要求也将进一步加强，于这个体育成绩落后的我来说更是一个很大的挑战!

长跑之前，老师对我们这次活动提出了一项严格的要求：一定要坚持。原因一个是要挑战我们的体能极限，另一个则是因为长跑是中考必考项目之一。我听后非常紧张，由于体育是我的长期弱项，而跑步则更是弱中之弱。

第一天，在刚开始的50米内，我还勉强跟得上，但越往后就越难了，跑了不到200米，我已经是气喘吁吁、大汗淋漓，两只脚像灌了铅一样，呼吸也变得越来越急促。看着从我身边一个个跑过的同学，我真想把腿安上两个轮子。最后的结果是可想而知的，我被整整落了两圈……

回到家中，我唉声叹气的向妈妈诉苦，妈妈安慰我说：“不要着急，我们慢慢来，坚持就是胜利，从今后，我和你一起锻炼，相信坚持了就会有成效”。听了妈妈的一番话，我觉得很有道理：做任何事都是一点一滴的积累，坚持就是胜利，而放弃则意味着怯懦，我的勇气被激发了!

为了增强我的耐力，每天晚上，我就会和妈妈从家一直跑到天安门。开始时，我真坚持不下来，刚跑几步就想停下来。这时妈妈会一边调侃一边鼓励我说：“12岁的大男孩难不成还跑不过42岁的女人吗?瞧!你今天一口气都跑到这里了，比昨天进步了许多呀……”在她的鼓励与支持下，我咬牙坚持着，一个多月过去了，我已经能从家很轻松地跑到天安门了。在这个过程，我感受到了坚持的力量。

如今，我在学校的长跑活动中几乎已经不掉队了，虽然我与其他同学还有一定的差距，但我会坚持永不言弃!

这次长跑活动告诉我：只要坚持就会胜利。这次活动让我体会坚持的力量!

期末成绩出来，很高兴我又荣获佳绩，虽然有些不足，但依然让我特别开心，笑容已经代表不出我内心满满的喜悦。

和月考和期中两段对比，这次发挥刚好合我心意，它反映出了我取胜的关键，也说明了其中不足问题所在，需要的是保持和改正。有则改之。，无则加勉，在这次考试中，用实力又证明了许多优秀的同学，用实力说话让我记住了他们，我又遇到了两个强劲的对手一—寇冠宇和宋亚轩。因为他俩颇高的文化成绩，让他俩的光茫一下子就迸射了出来，成为了闪亮的一点。

不可否认的还有，一段班长经历也确实让我成长了许多以前我并不愿意当干部，也许嫌麻烦，我和班长、队长……这些一点不搭边，怕自己管理太多，一点时间都没有，后来的我，也就把责任和榜样送给了别人。那时的我总认为，安静自己干事才是最好的方法，直到我自己当上了班长，组织班会，统计名单，一声上课时的“起立”，把我的心带动了起来，愿意为大家开会，愿意承担责任，愿意代表出席。从那时起，我的肩膀上担着一份对八班的责任，它开始变得沉甸甸，因为责任重千金。起初怕学习被耽误，但最终谢老师对于这份责任的安排让我打消了那份逃避，我只需要在同样的时间内做好自己就行，把握好这份责任，是我最重要的事情，所以点点滴滴的榜样力量让我慢慢成长。

The usage of Internet becomes one of the most controversial topics in the

society. As a college student, I believe Internet is beneficial to me more than

the way it harms me. There are many advantages for using Internet.

First, I can best use my time to find information online instead of going

to different libraries. Also, the information can be dated back in decades ago.

It is very helpful to use those information as reference and historical proof.

In the library, it is hard to find so much "old" information. Another advantage

to use Internet is that I can stay home and have a lecture online. It is much

more convenience to me because I can stay warm to have class in the winter time

instead of spending two hours on the bus and physically attend class. In

addition, Internet provides me a better way to communicate with my friends and

professors. I can get response from my professor in a few minutes instead of

waiting outside of his door for hours. Some of my friends are living in a

foreign countries, I can simply just drop him an email whenever I can and get a

message from him very quick. It is much better than waiting for letters. Also,

the email will not lose while the letter might be losing in the process of

delivery.

However, there are also disadvantage of using Internet. For example, I

might spend too much time on the Internet to concentrate on my study. Also,

there is a chance that I am cheated because of the Internet purchasing. Last,

Internet has lots of information, both helpful and harmful. There might be too

much tempatation that I will access some of the harmful information I can on the

Internet.

Even though the usage of Internet has both positive and negative effect to

me, I still consider Internet is a symbol of technology development. I believe I

can use the Internet very well as long as I know how to control myself.

Since we go to school, English is one of our main subjects, the government pays special attention to the English education. In the class, we have learned the grammar and sentence structure for a long time, some students are no more satisfied with what we learn in the class, they want to speak English fluently, so they can take advantage of what they learn in the class. Nowadays, English corner has be the main symbol for the English learners, most people join the corner in the weekends. Joining the English corner can enhance people’s ability of speaking English. Students have less chance to speaking in the class, but in the English corner, they can speak what they want. As there are people from all classes in the English corner, people can share their experience for each other, they can learn more from each other. 而在这之间，是一座寺庙。

刚搬家时我也打趣：“这一中旁边有座庙，该不是为考试前拜一下吧?”黄色的基调生硬地嵌在目光里，撞得生疼。随着晃晃白昼一起飘荡的袅袅烟气始终将它包裹，熏出一种超凡脱俗之感。并不将其放在心上的我终是在一日见其中僧侣后愣了一下，恍神之中周遭之景竟都融入这片铺开的黄色中，僧侣念诵着什么向前走，目光望向遥远，没有汲汲的渴望，只是淡然地注视，却干净清澈。他并不会望向这侧的九楼，我也不曾遇上那束目光之后的力量。却忽觉这其中兑有校园的志向与老人的祥和。眼前之景接连成一片，如一曲连贯而明亮的乐章。

我拭去窗上的水汽，我拂去窗上的尘灰。我注视着这片景，我叩问心底的愿。

read.In a library,there are books on different subjects,such as Chinese

history,fine art,science,English literature,and so on.There are also works fo

fiction.

The public libraries are crowded with people on weekdays as well as Sundays

because many people,especially students who want to consult reference books for

their school work,know that they could at least learn something there.

Besides reading in the library,we can also borrow books with library

cards.But books on loan had to be returned within a couple of weeks.As far as I

know the number of people who borrow books from public libraries is increasing

year after year.
