第二场考笔答，听力20分，笔试80分。听力测试内容是书上的一篇课文，因为我只看了看基础题，课文一点没瞧，面对这部分题我傻了眼。我只好把希望寄托在笔试上，可谁知笔试部分只有少数题是基础题，剩下的全是阅读题，这时我才知道我彻底完了!

没过几天成绩单就下来了，我竟然才考了35分!看着这张不及格的卷子，泪水止不住地流下来。我拖着沉重的双腿回到家，把自己锁在房间里痛哭了一场。我对自己当初的盲目乐观、自以为是而悔恨交加，真想一把把卷子撕碎，把纪录耻辱的考卷丢进废纸篓。这时我突然想起了父亲的话，我认识到，我不是英雄，因为我没有尽力，我败给了自己，只能独饮自酿的苦水。我又一次把卷子打开，认认真真把错题重做了一遍，从中找到了自己学习上的差距、不足。

从这次竞赛中，我体会到了失败的滋味，并且明白了，自满是学习的大敌，只有虚心谨慎，扎实认真，才能最终完成一份令人满意的答卷。

游鱼因学会体验宁静，才有“海阔凭鱼跃”的安详;飞鸟因学会体验宁静，才有“天高任鸟飞”的自由;浮云因学会体验宁静，才有“云卷云舒”的逍遥。

自然如此，人亦能如此，在嚣嚣尘世中体验内心的宁静，看到未曾被世俗占染的桃园。

掀开历史的画卷，我看到陶潜那悠然的微笑：“结庐在人境，而无车马喧。问君何能尔?心远地自偏。”是的，生在红尘并不可怕，可怕的是不懂让心灵在生活的烦琐中体验宁静，感受清纯。纵使无鲜肥之享，但能在沿着静谧的小道上邂逅南山，怎不是一件乐事呢?陶夫子以淡泊明志、宁静致远的心态生活在远离世俗喧嚣外的一片乐土上，没有为柴米油盐的愁虑，亦没有受人世感情的羁绊，生活的清新与潇洒，使他有了身处人间而体验宁静所获得的超然。

欣赏古老的庙堂壁画，我看到了释伽牟尼脸上的从容与淡定：生、老、病、死，一切随其自然，是什么让他对人生看得如此淡然、如此从容?其实秘密就是他学会了让心灵在尘世中体验宁静，因为看透了世间的名利宠辱，便从容地坐看云舒云卷，笑对生活起伏，领悟“四大偕空”的真谛。而他对世俗的泰然无不来源于体验宁静。

苏轼亦如此。官场上的连连失意也曾使他萌生惆怅与失落。然而，这些在别人眼里的挫败与厄运却令他清楚地看到了世界的姿态。正是他怀着“一蓑烟雨任平生”的旷达胸襟，穿梭在茫茫宦海，忍受着被贬的痛楚与享受着被召回的欣喜，让心灵在杂乱无序的尘世中体验宁静，最终练就了豁达的人生态度。

在这喧嚣的红尘中，有许多人时常被生活揉搓得疲惫不倦，他们大多认为在当今物欲横流的社会，心灵的宁静早已不复存在。其实不然，只要打开窗户，让微风细抚你的脸庞，让心绪飞扬，你会发现喧嚣的汽车鸣笛，人们的话语声都离你耳畔远去，剩下的只有自己的心跳声与呼吸声，以及聆听自己世界的机会。

花儿绽放，飘溢芳香，不为观赏者赞美的只言片语，只为完成生命的轮回。生活在尘世的我们更应以超俗的理念作为翅膀，体验内心的宁静，让宁静在内心沉淀，像淳厚的五千年文化在我们心中沉淀、回转。

坚强是什么?这是我小时候对我十分困扰的问题，在我小时候觉得坚强是一种奇怪的东西，长大了几岁，才渐渐懂得了这个所谓的“坚强”，认为坚强之是不要哭，直到有一件事让我深深地明白了坚强是什么。

那天，我放学赶回家，无意间看到了一个年轻的阿姨抱着一个小宝宝，我停下了脚步看她们要干什吗，只看见那个阿姨将小宝宝放下，然后让小宝宝跟着她走，我明白了，原来那个阿姨是想让小宝宝自己走路，我心想：“这个阿姨是怎么做妈妈的?怎么小的宝宝就想让学走路!”小宝宝走一步摔一步，每次摔倒了小宝宝正要哭，可那个阿姨鼓励她：“加油，不要哭!”小宝宝似乎听懂了，摇摇晃晃地站起来，慢慢的走到她的妈妈身边，摔了站起来，她重复着一次又一次，我心想：“一个年仅一岁的孩子怎么会有这么强的意志?”

我不禁眼睛湿润了，想起她们母女俩这件事中，我深受启发，也真正明白了坚强是一种无穷的能量，只要你学会坚强就能克服一切困难!这件事给我的视线里亮了许多，在黑暗中点亮了我的人生，点明了我的道路!

My home town is a beautiful place. It stands beside a wide river and is rich in fish and rice.

我的家乡是一个美丽的地方。它坐落在一条宽阔的河流和丰富的鱼和米饭。

But in the old days it was a poor and backward little town. Many people had no work. They lived a hard life.

In 1949 my hometown was liberated. Since then great changes have taken place there. The streets have been widened. Factories, schools, hospitals, cinemas and theatres have sprung up one after another. The life of the people is greatly improved.

I love my hometown. All the more I love its people. They are working hard so as to make it still richer and more beautiful.
