在一个风和日丽的周末，我起床时，暖暖的阳光已经钻进了房间，我猛地看时间，已经八点半了，奥数课要迟到了!我赶紧爬起来，匆匆忙忙打理一下就赶快出门了。

我以百米冲刺的速度读冲向车站，终于赶上了车来的时间之前到达。我坐在冷冰冰的凳子上，从书包里翻钱包。糟了!出门忘记拿钱包了!怎么办?我只好懊恼地将全身上下以及书包翻了个遍，只找到5角钱。怎么办?另外重要的5角钱在哪儿呢?我又找了一遍，却还是没有看见一分钱。

车来了，我只好将5角钱折起来，让司机觉得有两个5角的，同机应该不会发现的。轮到我投币了，我的心就像揣了一直兔子，“扑通扑通”地跳着，我攥着5角钱，手心沾满了汗。我将5角钱我将五角钱投进去，心里默默地祈祷着，不要被发现啊!谁知那司机眼尖，他对我说：“同学，你的车费是1元，你还差5角。”

我顿时语塞，脸涨得通红，我无法抵抗与反驳，只得装作在包里找起来。

后面的阿姨似乎知道什么，她碰碰我说：“同学，不用找了，我这儿有两元整的找不开，我帮你出吧。”我愣了愣，连忙点点头说：“阿姨，谢谢您!”阿姨笑了笑，没说什么，走到后面坐下了。

春天是个多雨的季节，春雨潇潇，夜晚绵绵不断地下了起来。

于是心和着雨声，尽情的享受着那份逝去的温情与惬意;看着那落地的雨点砸在地上浅起的一朵一朵的水花。那朵朵水花在脚边幻化成一泓清水，又汇成一股股小溪不停的、执着的向着各自的目的地流淌着，心时而感到空空如也，仿佛心中的一切都在随着雨水一点一点地漫漫流走，空的让心感到抽畜，空的让心感到颤栗。时而又感到心被装得满满的，好像那些该忘却的，该抛弃的又都随着雨水被冲进了心田，心中充满了迷茫与惆怅。

雨依旧下个不停，一切都掩映在雨雾中，村野朦胧，街市朦胧，景色朦胧，来去葱葱的行人也朦胧，心中逝去了的朦胧，永远携刻在心中的亦朦胧。

格拉夫曼对中国人太执着于竞争的评论让我深有同感，确实，中国式竞争太过盲目，刻意追求第一已经成为了一个消耗的过程，而非收获的过程。

中国人强调竞争，从几千年前就已经开始，从状元，榜眼，囊萤映雪，独占鳌头，到现如今被立为标杆的衡水中学，中国人时刻用这些来刺激自己与他人。人若挑灯夜读，我便悬梁刺股。竞争欲使一批批人争着付出更多的健康甚至生命以超越别人，赢得第一。其实，有相当一部分人并不清楚自己到底在争什么。只是被社会压力、家庭期冀驱策着，蒙着眼去消耗生命而已。朝着别人的方向奔跑，只怕会南辕北辙，浪费了生命与激情，徒添无用的冠冕。

大师说中国人在生活中就不自觉地强调这种观念。好一个“不自觉”!其实很多人已经察觉到盲目竞争是对生命的浪费，但最终他们还是被社会的洪流裹挟着前行。浸润其中，不自觉地被同化。陶渊明也曾因外部条件“以心为形役”，但他没有像当今许多人，“一入尘网中”便无可自拔，而是拂袖而去。牡丹之爱，虽宜乎众矣，但并不适合每一个人。遁着心之所向，为梦想而奋斗，虽九死其犹未悔。这样的竞争才有意义。谁道唯有牡丹真国色，只要凝聚血汗与热情，清淡雏菊也能“我花开后百花杀”从心而行，不随波逐流，更为重要。

有人会质疑：竞争是发展的动力，竞争意识有何不好?从心而行，奋力拼搏当然好，但为竞争而竞争，只为“高人一等”的竞争就是本末倒置，“目的不纯”了。前苏联本是工农阶级在资本主义世界中团结起来追求幸福的一隅乐土，但后期因与美国盲目竞争，大搞军备竞赛，劳民伤财，耗空了自己。人如果沉迷于无益的竞争，才是对生命的浪费。如果坚定自己的志向，大可以“风雨兼程”，留给世界只能是背影。

每个人都是一枚流火，即使如闪电般迅乎，也要在自己的轨迹上迸发光芒。而不是沿着别人画好的轨迹盲目比拼，与别人挤得头破血流，找到自己的方向并为之努力，才是最重要的。

I was waiting for the doctor to finish his examination.I was worried and

nervous.Would my father have to operate?Would a blood transfusion be

necessary?What would he have to say?

Dr Lin was a heart expert.He was an excellent doctor and his examinations

were always complete.He listened to the patients heart,took his blood pressure

and temperature,gave him an X-ray and examined his eyes and ears.The doctor

finall completed his examination and spoke to me.He told me that heart trouble

is never a minor illness,but this wasnt a serious heart attack.He advised

losing weight,getting plenty of sleep and eating good meals.Smoking and drinking

would be harmful,of course.Dr Lin said it would be necessary to be careful for a

while,but he was confident that there was nothing to worry about.

I felt much better after I spoke to Dr Lin.I was certain that my father

would be up and around again very soon.Hes seventy five years old now,but he

can still live for a long time if he takes good care of himself.

Spring Festival is my favourite festival. This years Spring Festival is in

February 8th. On New Years Eve, everyone will wear new clothes. My parents and

I will go to the Grandpa and grandmas home to eat Nian Yefan. This is the

tradition of our family. At the dinner table, my grandmother will prepare a lot

of dishes for us to cook hot pot. These dishes are very delicious. Everyone ate

very happy. We have forgotten the troubles of the past year, happy to greet the

new year. After dinner, I will go back home with my parents. In eight, I will be

It is widely accepted that to work independently has the obvious advantage

that it can prove one’s ability. However, I believe that teamwork is more

important in the modern society and teamwork sprit has become a required quality

In the first place, we are situated in a complicated society and we often

encounter tough problems that are beyond our ability. It is especially at this

moment that teamwork proves to be exceedingly important. With the help of the

team, these problems can be solved easily and quickly, which could improve work

The Dragon Boat Festival is one of the most popular traditional festivals

celebrated in China, which is on the fifth of the fifth lunar month, also known

as Duanwu Festival. It’s said that it is to commemorate the death of a Chinese

patriotic poet, Qu Yuan, who was snared by corrupt officials in ancient China

and finally committed suicide by drowning himself in the Miluo River to protest

against them.

The traditions and customs held on this festival differ from place to

place, but there are some common in them. First, the most famous and great

tradition is holding Dragon Boat races, which are held by fishermen’s attempt to

protect Qu Yuan’s body against attacking by fishes and other animals in the

river by beating drums and row the dragon shaped boat. Nowadays dragon boat

races have been an annual popular sport activity among people. In addition,

making and eating Zongzi—a dumpling made of glutinous rice and wrapped in bamboo

or reed leaves—is also a popular custom during this day. It can be made by many

kinds of stuffing. What’s more, hanging herbs on the front door, drinking

realgar wine and pasting up picture of Zhongkui—a mythic guardian figure in

ancient china—are also popular during the festival, which are mean to protect

people from evil and disease.

These customs and traditions have been changed a little in recent years,

but they still make contribution to the spread and inheritance of Chinese

culture.

风停了，尘土里带有落花的香气。她摞下一句：“既然你这么认为，那我就是这样的人了。”说完她转身走了，留下我和空旷的操场。

I always dream about returning to the past. As many people say childhood is

the happiest and easiest time in one’s life.

Children show you their true emotions. They know what is compassion and

what is tolerance better than adults. In their world all real thoughts are

presented. They may easily have different opinions with others but they never

understand what is animosity. They enjoy making friends but they never think

about making social communication net. Every child talks from the bottom of his

heart without evil plans hidden and never intrigues against each other. Only in

I’m an outgoing girl and my name is Shi Yun. I love singing songs,

especially pop songs. My favorite singer is Jay Chou.

As we all know, Jay is a superstar of Asia. He has excellent music skills.

He started to play the piano at 5 years old and studied hard. When he was 15

years old, he was able to write songs. But the environment in which he lived is

not very good. When he was a child, his parents were divorced and as a result
