元宵节是我国的四大节日之一，元宵节一过，春节也就算过完了，所以这一天是非常隆重和热闹的。以前，人们主要是看花灯与舞龙，现在燃放烟花，人们观看烟花也就成为庆祝节日的方式之一了。

晚上七点多一点，我就着急地叫爸爸妈妈带我上工人体育馆去，听说那八点整要放烟花的。走在街上，看到路上有很多与我一样想看烟花的人，大家老老小小一家人，显得十分的高兴。人真是多呀，挤得水泄不通。

八点钟到了，只听见几声沉闷的声音，一个个烟花带着红红的火星窜上了天空，几声脆响，夜空绽放出几朵美丽的花朵。它们的形状和颜色各不相同，有五颜六色的满天星，金黄色的蒲公英，紫色的牵牛花，火红的玫瑰花，粉红的月季、银色的百合……，绚丽多彩。

随着一声声的炮响，人们在惊呼，在赞叹，夜色中，人们微微扬起的脸上也变幻着多姿的色彩，也露出了幸福的笑容，他们不也像一朵朵美丽的烟花吗!

生活是多么的美好呀!

我国是世界文明古国之一，传统文化数不胜数，丰富多彩，但我还是喜欢我们家乡的花灯。

both well educated and do well in their jobs. they know that knowledge is power.

father often communicates with foreign friends and is good at english. i can

learn a lot from him, especially english. his oninion on education is as

advanced as that of my mothers. they often give me advice on my studies but

never interfere in them. they seldom force me to do what i dont like to. they

permit me to have different opinions. if something is good for me, they will

persuade me to do it as they want. many people of our age say that there is a

generation gap between their parents and them. however, it doesnt exist between

us.

My mother is a math teacher. she is very clever and good at teaching. she

can work out a problem within 10 minutes which would cost me 2 hours. i envy and

admire her. i want to be a math teacher like her.

Im lucky to have such enlightened parents. im lucky to have been brought

up in such a happy family.

When girls get together, they like gossip. They always talk about the topic of beauty. They will discuss who is the most beautiful girl in school or they will compare the girls and see who is more charming. As the young people, they usually judge people from appearance. The definition of beauty of course is the one who is thinner and has the pretty face. When they ask me which one is more attractive, then I will look at them for a while, because I want to perceive their personality. My view on beauty is not only from appearance as I think most girls have the pretty faces, but also from the inside, only the quality that differentiates them.
