社会越是富有，往往就会变得越挑剔。许多人(包括我在内)会浪费掉因为他们而被杀死的动物的一半，我们拒绝食用它们的器官、肠子和脑子等等部位。但在西方之外的社会、尤其是亚洲，人们通常是吃这些的，而且有时还会将其视若珍品。就吃下动物所有部位的意愿而言，中国和日本要远远排在大多数西方国家的前面。

Surely, then, one can’t object to eating shark fin? Yet one can and one should. The reasons are to do with conservation and our broader ecosystem. Some species of shark have been depleted by 70 per cent and a few, such as smooth hammerhead, bull sharks and tiger sharks, by 90 per cent or more. Sharks are the ocean’s top predators. Their absence causes havoc. Off the east coast of America, sharks used to eat bottom-feeding rays. With shark numbers massively depleted, the rays have had a field day devouring scallops, clams and oysters, rapidly reducing stocks.

Certainly, shark fin is traditional. As one writer points out, to ask people to stop eating it is the equivalent of suggesting Americans give up turkey for Thanksgiving. There is doubtless a case for banning other types of food, such as some types of caviar and some species of whale. But cultures are not immutable. Traditions change, especially when they are unsustainable.

Judy Lao recently told the Vancouver Province why she didn’t have it at her reception. “We don’t really care, our friends don’t care, and shark fin has no nutritional value anyway,” she said. “So why should we serve it?” Why indeed.

But at present, the number of pandas is increasing year by year. there are now so many pandas that some are being sent to other countries so that people there can enjoy them.

Nowadays, the biggest nature park for panda in China is in Sichuan. there is a research centre for nature and wild life there. Scientists hope that one day they will have enough pandas to be set free and let them live in the wild again.

My favorite animals are rabbits. Rabbit is very cute, chubby, hairy. In the last several decades, our earth has been extremely polluted, such as air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution and so on. In recent years, the extreme weather becomes more and more frequent. Winter gets colder and summer becomes hotter and it rains more frequently. All of these warn us that protecting the environment is a serious and emergent event. As our general people, we should build proper lifestyle. We should pay attention to water and light saving. When we go out, we should firstly choose the public transportation. The most important is that we must realize that we can do a lot of things to protect our environment. Its our duty to make our home better. Let’s change from ourselves.

动物是人类的朋友。动物离不开人类，同样，人类也离不开动物。

小的时候，我们家养了两只可爱的小白兔，它们给我带来了许多欢乐，成了我们家的一份子。

父母对待这两只小白兔一直很好，经常给它们洗澡，让它们吃新鲜的大白菜。我看到这些，以为父母也像我一样，把小白兔当成自己的好朋友对待，可我万万没有想到的事情发生了……一天，我刚起床，看见父母抱着小白兔要出门，我好奇地问：“你们要抱小白兔去哪呀？”妈妈被吓了一跳，慌张地说：“我……我们要带小白兔去称体重。”当时我还小，什么也不明白，就没有怀疑。没想到，我的疏忽却使我再也见不到小白兔了。

“小白兔，你们饿了吗，我给你们喂大白菜。”小白兔刚来我们家时，我高兴极了，开心地给它们喂大白菜，抱着它们跑。小白兔则用充满灵气的双眼注视着我。渐渐地，我与它们熟悉之后，一放学，它们就跑到家门口迎接我，跳到我的手上，亲吻着我的手心。伤心时，小白兔就舔舔我，安慰我，成了我的好伙伴。

这是多么有灵气的小动物啊，而身为榜样的父母怎能把小白兔残忍杀害？如今，小白兔可爱的双眼不再闪动，它们远离了我，我再也不能像以前一样，与它们玩耍了……想到这里，我的眼泪就不停地往下流，我伤心地大声对妈妈说：“妈妈，你怎么能杀死我的小白兔呢！它们虽然不是人，但也是活生生的生命啊！”妈妈看到我哭得这么伤心，心疼极了，说：“对不起，对不起，我的好女儿，我再也不会这样做了。”

我久久忘却不了我的小白兔，也原谅不了父母的残忍行为，每次回家，都会在门前站一会儿，仿佛我的小白兔还在，还会出来迎接我……

在我们生存的环境中，动物一直都和我们形影不离。

我们常见的动物又小鸟、青蛙、蜜蜂、鱼，还有很多家畜等等。

针对不同的动物，我们有不同的看法，理论上对于苍蝇、老鼠、蟑螂等害虫，人们总是抱着杀之而后快的心理，可还有更多的动物，它们是间接或是直接为人类服务的，是人类的朋友，我们应该去保护它们。

猫是一种家养的动物，看上去活泼可爱，它有一种本能就是抓老鼠，而老鼠是最怕猫的，也是人类最痛恨的，因此我们应该保护猫。

青蛙是一种夏天在水边常见的动物，它们以吃害虫为生，在有水的庄稼地里，它们会吃掉所有的害虫，让庄稼长的粗壮高达，因此我们应该保护青蛙。

蜜蜂是一种在花丛中经常出没的小动物，它们会采集花粉，制成蜂蜜，同时能让各类植物得以授粉结果，促进植物生长。科学家爱因斯坦曾经说过：“如果蜜蜂消失，人类最多只能活四年。”可见蜜蜂的重要性，因此我们应该保护蜜蜂。

当然也不是一概而论，比如说：狼、蛇、老虎，等凶猛动物，人类很害怕他们，可并不能说要消灭它们，甚至有些还需要去刻意保护它们。因为它们有很多正在逐年减少，乃至灭绝。追根求源是因为人类的高速发展，无休止的猎杀等等，破坏了生态平衡，动物们的食物链出现了断层，久而久之，人类会自食其果，导致毁灭。

保护动物，是我们当代文明人面临的一个重要问题，该如何去保护，值得我们深思。我认为保护动物应从我做起，不去恶意的捕杀小动物，对珍惜动物更应实施法律保护。对于生长繁殖快的有害动物，适当的予以杀灭，其中还有很多细节需要深思。

保护动物，让动物和我们共同健康的生活在我们美丽的家园吧!
